20th JSing GRADS thread - our chat's still filthy, just not in front of the baby...

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 20th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 37th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

thanks boo, will bear that in mind. Glad the scan went well Smile

ZylaB · 22/01/2015 13:12

Glad the scan went well boo :)

laurenamium · 22/01/2015 13:50

Glad the scan went well boo!

teejayem · 22/01/2015 14:25

good news boo! I've got my 20 (Actually 22wks) scan on Monday Morning and I am crossing everything my pesky placenta has gotten itself up a bit higher.
I've had the opposite of arse rain - in spite of hoovering down more fruit than I have ever eaten in my life, I still had a horrifically uncomfy poo this morning after three days of not being able to go :( I might have to crack out the dried apricots. Blush

lauren is he not keen on the idea of a dirty spoon? .... at all? You could just tie him up and sit on him I suppose...

god I sound like I'm in the undergrads fred. I miss the vibrator chat!

laurenamium · 22/01/2015 14:33

Grin Dirty spoon tee! That's the position that we've been doing for a while, but he always puts his hand on my stomach then freaks out...I intend on demanding it later and seeing how he reacts Grin

mountaingirl01 · 22/01/2015 14:40

Thanks boo! there's my afternoon wasted really pleased your scan was all good :)

willywallace · 22/01/2015 15:30

Just tell him not to touch your stomach? I don't know how you can be arsed Lauren. Although I wouldn't mind now if it wasn't for my horrid stitches. My milk is just coming in and I am about to have my breasts replaced with giant leaking bowling balls which I never think is conducive to romance.

I can't work out how to use this wrap sling thing.

DulcetMoans · 22/01/2015 15:33

Sounds a bit rapey lauren, watch out!! Wink I am really not sure how to reintroduce sex to our lives after 16 weeks without... any tips??

Good news on the growth boo, fx it all continues.

Wheres the placenta then tee? Got a work friend who's has managed to lodge itself over the cervix. If it doesn't move she is guaranteed c-section... hopefully not the same for you!

Was 16wk appointment here this morning and she did listen to heartbeat! Spent all week fearing she won't but didn't even have to ask. Great news though - its still there!! Heartbeat was a little fast but within range so nothing to worry about. My bloods were all good and wee sample fine. I have low blood pressure so just keep an eye on that and try not to faint. Pretty positive I reckon!

Fleurchamp · 22/01/2015 15:38

I have read the curtain thread. What's the verdict? Is it rude to leave your curtains drawn?

I have had a new release of energy today, I feel like a fog has lifted and I feel more like "me". I have been swimming and went for a walk at lunchtime Grin
But then I worry that something's wrong, never happy!

laurenamium · 22/01/2015 15:40

Excellent news dulcet Smile

My nesting psycho cleaning continues...just one room left then the whole house has had a deep clean over 4 days Grin need to sort out 2 drawers in my room today though for baby things. I'm going to pick up the things my nephew has grown out of tomorrow too so need to have somewhere for them to go!

EssiesInvisibleLlama · 22/01/2015 15:52

Congrats wil!! Awesome news!

Glad you had a good scan Boo. Yippee.

Fog has lifted here too, had a call from a very sheepish GP on Tues to say, actually I was right, I do still have kidney infection, the samples they ran a WEEK ago, had just come back in! I resisted the urge to create, as I'd spent another week feeling like shite and being made to feel as though I was being dramatic, so I just whizzed over there, got the prescription and started on the antibiotics, and finally I feel great, totally normal infact and if I hadn't seem the scan last week I wouldn't believe I was up the duff. I've even managed three consecutive days at work this week, my best effort this year! So onwards and upward I hope.

What have I missed on here? Due to being back at work and feeling normal I've been racing about trying to do all the things I've neglected in the last 3 weeks while I've had brain fog and pickled kidneys.

Me and DH have constant arguments about the curtains and the porch light. I open the curtains in the morning and he likes to do physio for his hip problem in his pants in the front room infront of sky sport before he goes to work, so he closes them so the neighbours don't enjoy the pleasure of seeing him doing lunges in his pants, and then they stay closed all day. He also habitually turns off the porch light, so when I arrive home in the dark I can't see the flipping keyhole to get into the house! ARGH!

Anyway, sorry for witterings! Hope everyone is well. I am so grateful to feel human again!

teejayem · 22/01/2015 15:54

Aww, it's such a nice sound when you here that little galloping noise, yay dulce!

Placenta was chilling out somewhere anterior and low when I had my bleed and subsequent scan before xmas It basically needs to jog on up or I think my birth options will be limited and risk of more bleeds etc increases. Oh the joy....!
Hope stitches aren't too bad wil how's MWil2?

RPopz · 22/01/2015 16:07

There's a good chance it'll move tee I'm sure majority of them do, esp in first pregs. I had anterior placenta too and didn't have any issues. FX for you.

Hooray for milestones and heartbeats!! Smile

What sling have you got Wil? I've got the Caboo and finding it a bit of a pain in the ass tbh!

ZylaB · 22/01/2015 16:15

Ok, hispital bag is re packed ready for tomorrow but hopefully it can stay in the car! Collecting a whole day's worth of wee is continuing, I can't do anything but lol at my tub of wee! Unfortunately I'm going to have to take it to lazy daisy as I dotn have anything smaller and sterile to pee into while I'm there. Ah well, big carrier bag :)

I so so hope I don't have to stay in tomorrow, was planning to see a friend I haven't seen for a while and I don't want to kiss out, though have already old her that if she wants to book something with someone else I won't mind, coz I can't say for sure that I'll be there.

ChatEnOeuf · 22/01/2015 16:18

Which sling, Wil? Have you tried You Tube? That's my go-to when trying a new carry :)

Good news (sort of) Essie, glad you're feeling better.

Glad scan is all good Boo

How are Pingu and MicroWil?

ChatEnOeuf · 22/01/2015 16:19

Good luck Zyla - 24hr wee doesn't have to be sterile so you can pee in a bottle if you like :)

ZylaB · 22/01/2015 16:24

Good to know chat thanks! I'll take a water bottle instead of my huge tub then! Much less embarrassing :)

willywallace · 22/01/2015 16:57

It's a boba wrap. Did have a look on you tube but will have to find a better video.

Little one is doing great. She is just lovely and MiniWil is being surprisingly accommodating.

ZylaB · 22/01/2015 17:02

Aww wil Grin

TheBooMonster · 22/01/2015 17:40

I have to admit I don't even like having the blinds closed let alone the curtains, not he days that DH and I are both home it's a continuos dance of opening and closing the blinds, as he is obsessive about privacy so closes them all the time, curtain wise DH is again the only one who closes them, apart from in DD's room as the street light is right outside her room and I forever forget to open it.

I'm also a proud owner of an anterior placenta, and if anything it seems to have moved down since the last scan O.o as she was only just convinced that the placenta wasn't over my cervix whereas last time the woman was completely unfussed by it... not sure how it effects c-section options if it doesn't do one and move up or round the womb?

essie glad you're feeling better now but what a pain that it took so bloody long for them to get your results back!

minimooo · 22/01/2015 17:45

Aww, nice to hear all is going OK wil. Sorry I can't offer any sling advice, I don't really know anything about them.

Glad to hear you're feeling better essie!

Wow, lauren, where do you get all your energy from?! That's really good going to get your whole house done.

Just got back from pil's house. They want to throw us a baby shower (their version of a baby shower is a big bbq with all the family). They told me a while ago and I said it's not really my kind of thing, but if they wanted to organise a get together that would be fine. So, we've just spoken to mil and she's invited 79 people! Bloody hell Shock

willywallace · 22/01/2015 18:23

Haha small and intimate then Mini?! Lovely of her to do it although I'd be slightly overwhelmed at all that attention!

TheBooMonster · 22/01/2015 19:06

lol, well at least she's excited mini? and cough 79 people means plenty of gifted baby stuffs Wink

I'm starting to get a bit frustrated about how 'meh it's your second, may as well be your tenth' everyone seems to be about bump. Last time people were clawing at one another to come to the scans and this time no one has any interest in being there. She's got all of DD's stuff hand me downed and MiL seems to be going out of her way to ensure everything bump gets is hand me downed, she's obsessively trying to find a grown up wardrobe for 2 year old DD because the one she has is seemingly not big enough, but it's still plenty big enough, and I could have got bump her own (all be it second hand) furniture ten times over by now but keep being told not to because she can have DD's. Every time I look at clothes I get the 'isn't it fab you don't need to buy anything for bump as you have all of DD's things' and so on so forth, I've hit this ridiculous childish petulant point where I almost want to take all of DD's stuff out into the garden and burn it so that bump has to have new things.

RPopz · 22/01/2015 19:14

79 people?? I don't think I even know 79 people!!

laurenamium · 22/01/2015 19:51

79 people mini Shock that's a party not a baby shower! I hope they don't want you to open the presents in front of them you'll be there hours!

Good luck tomorrow zyla

boo I feel like you do about 2nd baby being ignored! My DM took me shopping and by this stage with DD I had bought or been gifted everything I could possibly need for DD right up til when she was 6 months old! This time around my DM has rolled her eyes at the thought of me buying anything new...and he's a boy so can't even really wear the clothes I kept from DD!
