Wow guyropes that must have taken ages!

Wish I'd have checked on here earlier as I've been up since 4am nursing my recovering bunny. Feel like it's preparation for what's to come!!

Hope everyone is feeling ok. Back to work for me tomorrow. Really don't want to. But my first proper midwife appointment is on wed so I'm looking forward to that.

NatalieBee · 04/01/2015 13:29

Thanks for the new thread guyropes :) just marking my place on the new thread Smile

Scan in 4days so exited! This new found all day nausea and even more agony boobs are making me more confident about it Grin

RainbowTortoise · 04/01/2015 13:48

Marking my place :-)

Hope everyone is ok, I have not been back since I first said hello. I have been soo tired, I'm in bed by 7.30 every night (as soon as my little girl is in bed) and up at 8 as my partner has been up early with her every day. He's back to work tomorrow so no more lie ins for me!

xBlueberry88x · 04/01/2015 13:51

Just marking my place!

ChanceBeAFineThing · 04/01/2015 14:35

Hooray for new thread. Thanks guyropes! Scan date came in post yesterday, is on the 20th. Only 2 more weeks to wait (why is time going so slow when you feel so crap?)

toothachereturns · 04/01/2015 14:44

Wow August is a busy month!Grin

Pugsake · 04/01/2015 15:06

Hi hope I'm ok too join. I joined the September board but just realised I'm due 22nd of August.

If this baby behaves and comes when she's supposed to. My youngest daughter was a thirty weeker and my son was born at 19 weeks.

Safe to say I am knicker checking like it's going out of fashion.

Me and DP have decided not to tell anyone at all till the 24 week mark so I need to talk about it somewhere.

I'd best have a catchup on the previous thread.

daisysunshine2 · 04/01/2015 15:07

Thanks for the new thread :) can't believe we've already filled one up and that I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow... Eeeek! :)

Pugsake · 04/01/2015 15:09

Sorry just read the top post.

Thanks for any of the posters listed who had a mc or cp.

nannynome · 04/01/2015 15:29

Thanks guy marking my place too. Hi Pug :) welcome to the thread.

MrsTea81 · 04/01/2015 16:27

Hello everyone, can I join please? Been a lurker for a while but now 9 weeks + 1 and first midwife appointment this Wednesday so seems like a good time to. Here's my stats am 33 years old, expecting child #1, EDD 8/8/15.

Luciferbox · 04/01/2015 16:48

Thanks for the add guyropes. My EDD is 6/8/15 but I suspect it will go back after my scan. It's also my second DC. My sickness keeps going and coming back big style. I'm going back to work tomorrow and I'm dreading it. I'll be asleep by 5pm tomorrow. Hope you're all well.

Dani240 · 04/01/2015 16:56

Hi, may I join?

I'm 24, expecting DC #1 and #2 Shock. I'm 7+4. I think my EDD is 19/8/15.

It's nice to meet you all!

karatekimmi · 04/01/2015 17:07

Thanks guy for the new thread and the list.

I'm with all you tired and nauseous people, feeling like crap and I have no idea how I will cope with work tomorrow - another teacher here.

We have a scan on the 5th of February which is 12 weeks and a midwife apt on the 22nd of January.

em165 · 04/01/2015 18:22

Another teacher here wondering how i'll cope going back to work. All I seem to do at the moment is sleep and I still feel tired! Not looking forward to actually having to go to work, as well as have much less sleep than i've become used to.

Good luck to everyone going back to work tomorrow!

iamhopeful · 04/01/2015 18:46

So many teacher i feel quite at home!

Emb540 · 04/01/2015 19:24

Aw thanks ropes I'm due 10/8/15

Wow there's loads of us!! I used another forum with my other 2 and they became my bestest friends and still really close and met up with a few. Think it's lovely we can support each other.

toothachereturns · 04/01/2015 19:33

Dani240 - twins!? That must have been a shock and lovely surprise! Do they run in your family?

Daveface · 04/01/2015 19:51

Hi all

Anyone else concerned about showing already? I'm 9 weeks but already have an obvious bump! Probably because it's the third one but still! I would rather not tell work till after the scan but I'm worried it will be a bit too obvious soon!

Also anyone not have sore boobs?!? Is that weird?

Thanks for doing the stats!

mrspana · 04/01/2015 19:57

Hi. Haven't posted since I first found out, had an early scan and everything is fine and as it should be. Was dated yesterday at 7+2 so Edd of 20/08. This is my second of, unexpected, but third baby, twins first time round ?? feel better now I've seen and heard a heartbeat. Am mostly ok for symptoms. Comes and goes in waves x

D00dles · 04/01/2015 20:05

Marking my place in the new thread! I'm also a teacher and I've felt sick and zombie like all day after several easier days. It's like the baby's even protesting about going back to work! Out of interest are you ladies hoping to work until the end of the year? My EDD is 8/8 so I'm thinking that I might be cutting it fine especially as I had my DD at 36+6 Confused

em165 · 04/01/2015 20:49

Doodles - i've been thinking about that too, my EDD is 7/8 and only realised when writing in the term dates into my diary that i'll be 37 weeks in the last week of term. I would love to be able to work until the end of the year but don't know how realistic that is.

Am telling the head tomorrow, hoping it goes down ok!

Pugsake · 04/01/2015 21:00

I'm showing already it's my fourth. No symptoms as of yet apart from achy boobs.

Iv cursed myself now il be throwing up within the hour.

danni240 wow. Are you nervous? Youv just made me remember there's twins on DP's side Confused

Dani240 · 04/01/2015 21:03

toothache I'm not sure that we'll ever get over the shock! We should have known though - I'm a twin, and so is DH's dad, so we never really had a chance!

Daveface I convinced myself I was showing already, but it turned out to be just horrible bloating!

Luciferbox · 04/01/2015 21:13

I managed to keep teaching until 38 wks last time and had my DS at 42+1 so I had a lot of time to kill. I'm hoping to finish the academic yr but looking after my toddler and with my DH working further away I'm not sure I'll make it.
