God my sickness has ramped up this week but today is the worst so far!!!

Got my scan date through for 2nd Feb i'll be 13 weeks exactly if my dates are correct annoyed its a week later than I hoped I just want to tell everyone.

Hope everyone is doing ok today!

I have my private scan on Tuesday night. I'll be somewhere between 8/9 weeks then. I just need to see this wee beans heart beating and I might (probably won't) relax a bit!

Id love an early scan but they dont do it down here which is annoying!!

Lol I dont think anything any one tells you makes you ready for how shitty you feel!!

My 12 week scan date has come through, will be 13 weeks 4 days!! Not very happy at having to wait another 3 weeks but nothing I can do!
Have s good weekend everyone! I've had to cancel all my plans as an behind on my studies - there is no way I can pick up the text books after a day at work as an too tired! Best I crack on rather than floating around the internet....

I had an early scan with Babybond this morning and pleased to say everything looked great. Nice strong heartbeat and everything as they would expect. Measurements suggest I am earlier than we think but I have my dating scan on 28th Jan so we'll see what that one says. I do feel more relaxed now but it doesn't make the constant sickness any better!

Carrot good luck with your scan. I have read and heard anecdotes that that sort of spotting is quite common. FX for you.

D00dles I am undress shared care, so having extra consultant appointments between midwife. Due to heart problem and fainting episodes.

Scan 23rd Jan, less than 2 weeks now. I am 10 +3 today and still so tired. Had a week back at work, wasn't as bad as i feared as i seem to be fine til about 1 - 2pm then decline from there into exhaustion and nausea. Still not vomited!! A few close calls though.

I had NO IDEA it was this bad in early pregnancy.

Also, ever so slightly crapping myself.

I'm really jealous of peoples scans, I had to push mine back a week as it clashed with work commitments. Now it's 5th feb when I'll be 13+5! At least I've seen little blob with a heat beat at my private scan at 8+5, so hopefully I won't start to panic.

I got better! Then the past few days have been tough. Lots of sickness. Fell asleep on the floor in front of the fire at 8.30!! I'm 11 weeks today and counting down the days until I may start to feel a bit normal!

blueberry do you not have any private clinics? I just googled it and loads came up!

That's my problem I can't concentrate otter! It's so dull, it just makes me even more sleepy!!! Wish I'd never agreed to it but work were forcing me to either continue the next level or do another course. At least this is useful outside my current employer whereas the other course wasn't. Study and exams go up till July, oh dear!!!
Hitting 11 weeks must feel good, you are 2 days ahead of me....

Well it doesn't look good, spotting turned to red blood at one point, but then brown again. Overall more than yesterday. I think I'm getting some very mild cramps, but not sure. Going from hope to despair...

Had my booking appt yesterday at 7+2 (i think). Going to be long wait for this 12 week scan where i can relax a bit more and not be so secretive about it. Very jealous of u guys a little further along!

Still no sickness. Midwife said its normal but reading all your posts I'm worried I'm on my own here. Hope its not a bad sign! x

Done wayyy to much today need to learn to slow down a bit but I know if I dont get things done dp wont do it!

I'm so jealous of all of you who are further ahead! I'm only 7 weeks and am just desperate to know that it's all ok and tell people.

I've had a shitty few days with sickness and migraines. I suffer badly with cluster type migraines and have been given conflicting advice from various gp's about the safety of my meds. So I'm not taking them and have had to take yesterday off work which is crap.
I feel quite good today though and have made the most of it by cleaning like a madwoman, meeting a friend for lunch and a nice long
walk with frolicdog.

Is anyone having cravings yet? I seem to be obsessed with all things vinegary this week. It's such a bloody stereotype, but I can't get enough pickled onions!

Frolic I've kind of had cravings, mainly for savoury food. Especially burgers! It's strange for me as I have a real sweet tooth, which when I was pregnant with my DD went crazy. I literally couldn't go a day without cake. But this time sweet things make me feel sick, I've had a cake sitting on the kitchen for a whole week (very unheard of ) maybe it's a sign that it's a boy....

Me too doodles! I'm usually a chocoholic. We were given so much for Christmas and I can't face any of it. All I want is crisps and vinegary things. I'm just eating some lime pickle and it's sooo good! DH is complaining that I stink.
My friend said today that I must be having a boy for the same reasons. I can't wait to find out!

I had cravings for burgers early on! And carbs. Jacket potato with cheese was my go to! Now I'm back to my usual chocolate loving self!

Keep going with the study LAM I bet it will be so worth it!

carrot do not spend ages on Google whatever you do, I did and had convinced myself it was the end, especially when I had the bleed. What my googling did reveal was that is quite common for bleeds and all works out, however at the time I glossed over this and focused on the negative. There is nothing you can do, just rest and wait - I know it's very hard, I had to wait a week for the scan after the bleed. Just to warn you they did an internal examination on me to see if they could feel anything wrong and to look to see if the cervix was open or closed. It doesn't hurt, it's just like a smear so is uncomfortable and rather odd having some random man down there.

Am not so sure otter, I will be missing the final year as will be off on maternity and don't think I am going back to work. That said things could change and I do return. I can always pick it up again later. Just got to try and get my head focused on the text books for the next few months...

carrot I second the 'no to google' advice! It really will just drive you crazy and convince you of the worst. Got my fingers crossed for you

Cravings... Salt and vinegar crisps!! But only walkers ones. Normally I LOVE kettle chips. But they taste too fatty or something at the minute so gone off them completely. Also gone off sweets, chocolate and sweet fruits. Also want to eat cereal and milk a lot which normally im not bothered about :)

Thank you for your kind words ladies. I had some more red blood before bed last night but this morning it's all brown again. Still no pain and I'm holding on to it.

My tiredness was back yesterday and a felt a bit queasy too (have I mentioned this already?) I'm hoping these are good signs! The scan is tomorrow so not too long to wait now.

All I want is bread and pastry. And I'm fancying yoghurt now, when usually I'm not a fan.

Morning....ouch!!!! When I sneeze my belly feel like all the muscles are ripping! This sneezing fit is not helping.

I have been doubled up with cramps last night and this morning. Bowel type cramps.... not womb ones! I was in so much pain I was breaking out in cold sweats but my bowels just wouldn't move (tmi?).

Eventually after numerous trips to the loo doubled up , things finally moved with a vengeance (sorry for tmi but it really scared me). What the hell is that about? I'm wondering if I might have a bug.

Good deep breathing practice for labour pains tho!
