Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Another new Fred?! Gosh we can talk :)

Mountain I know exactly how terrified you are, and there's bloody nothing that makes you feel better. I didn't get symptoms until at least 7w, but for all my moaning, I'm still nauseous in the mornings! My 8w scan went somewhat to relaxing me, as did 12w one. Feeling movement each day is the only concrete reassurance I get, but I've relaxed massively since 12w.

Zyla! What drugs are you on? Are they responsible or is it just one of those things? I know we watch for hypos in babies when mums have been on some BP drugs...Hope you're well and home soon.

Purple he should man up. Despite a lifetime of cat ownership and living near farmland, I'm still toxo neg so you can never be too careful. The occasions I've had to do it, it's been marigolds, doggy bags and a very hot hand scrub afterwards. We use litter liners so changing the whole thing is easy - just gather up the bag and put it in a bin bag.

Congrats and welcome Stoat!

lildottie · 17/01/2015 12:10

la you know you want to start the new thread so you can get in quick with the stats!!

purple I would definitely make DH do it. If anything did happen you'd always wonder if it was because you did the litter trays and even if it wasn't you'd blame him for not doing it.

zyla OMG! I hope you're ok. Must be a pretty stressful situation being in hospital and not really knowing whats going to happen but try and stay calm and put your trust in your medical team. They will do what they believe is best for you and Hannah. sending you a hand squeeze.

some unicorn luck for you zy

Purplecircle · 17/01/2015 12:16

Keeping everything crossed for you Zyla

I need to out myself to my sister and see what she thinks. My 12yr old nephew might be able to do it. Otherwise I'm going to have to teach DH.

We're doing my sister a favour by looking after her 3 kids while her and bil go away. I offered to do it, I really don't mind, they are great kids and they live a long way away so I don't see them much.
She might have another option

Cymraes17 · 17/01/2015 12:17

Zyla please dont worry. DC 1 was born @33weeks, and you would be none the wiser by now. It took over a year to get to 'normal' weight and clothes range, and only stayed in for 11 days in SCUBU before going home.
Try to relax, i know its difficult in there, but try to 'enjoy' the last few days you have alone, and you have had some warning ( we went in to hosp @4 in the morning and DC1 was here before 10, massive shock)

I read the thread every day, but mostly too tired to write anything. Welcome to all new upduffed viroids!

willywallace · 17/01/2015 12:31

Forgot to say welcome and congratulations Stoat. Jeez tidying is a lot easier when you're not 9 months upduffed. How can such a small room have so much crap in it?!

ZylaB · 17/01/2015 12:42

I honestly think it was caused by a combination of stress and really cold weather chat. I'm on labetalol, which is the standard of lady's beta blocker :)

They're doing drugs and bloods soon, then I need a nap!

We were booked in a lovely restaurant tonight, delayed meal for dhs birthday as it was close to Christmas and they were fully booked then. He's been looking forward to it for ages and no we can't go, feel like I've let him down and my body is letting baby down :(

Meh, I'll perk up after a sleep! :)

ZylaB · 17/01/2015 12:43

*standard pg lady's

Purplecircle · 17/01/2015 12:50

Zyla you haven't let anyone down. You're doing a great job there. None of this is your fault and you did everything you could to be healthy before ttc. Sending hugs

Lala I'm due on 24th September

deeplybaffled · 17/01/2015 12:57

zyla - so sorry to hear about your traumatic night but you are probably in the safest place. And I'm sure that your dh is more concerned about you and hannah than a meal, no matter how nice!
mountain , I know what you mean- I'm 7+2 at present and had a CP in September, so I'm half waiting for bad news too. Doesn't help that I've been on anti -anxiety meds for nearly 5 years anyway, but so grateful for them as I'd be in bits without them, I think.
stoaty and purple - welcome:)
la - may I be added to the stats? No scan or booking appt yet but edd of 4 September as far as I know yet....

Stoatystoat · 17/01/2015 12:59

Thankyou for the warm welcome, it's so nice to have somewhere to hangout especially while it's on the down low.

lala I don't have any DC...my sister has a DS and often tells me to get a move on, in the nicest possible way, because she wants to be an auntie and get to hold a little one again, so she'll be very excited. The cat will be out of the bag early on as we live in the same house as my dad so it will be difficult to conceal from him once I'm feeling ropey.

Am wearing my leather leggings ready to go out. I don't see many more outings for them this year!

Fingers crossed zyla xx

thanks for stats list la!

Welcome stoat Smile

Oh my god, zyla that sounds so stressful, you poor thing. You're in the best place though, and your dh sounds fab. Sending you lots of hugs and hand holds x

mountain sorry you're feeling nervous about symptoms - first trim is a nerve wracking time, especially after mc. As others have already said though, symptoms do come and go during the first few weeks. Hopefully (in the nicest possible way!) they'll be back in full force soon!

Me and dh had a massive row this morning Sad We're both stuck in the house together all day and we've got that really horrid atmosphere going on where neither of us will say sorry and neither of us will back down! Am currently eating my way through an entire bar of cadburys fruit and nut, hoping that will make me feel better! I hate arguments.
On the plus side though, I got my refund from the university - yay! And they have agreed I can suspend study with immediate effect, so I'm free of essays for two entire years - double yay!

LaLa5 · 17/01/2015 16:40

Am I a fanny? I put pic up last week of me and dh holding baby scan pic to let folk know about baby. I'm not big fan of the big baby Facebook announcement but we've so many friends abroad and back home in Scotland so to try to tell everyone separately would've been a nightmare.

My friend who's a week behind me just pm'd us all on Facebook with her scan pic and news, which is lovely - I'm delighted for her coz she was ttc for ages and had ivf. But she put that they didn't want to put it on Facebook because they wanted to keep it private. Now I feel a bit :( for having announced mine.

LaLa5 · 17/01/2015 16:53

Ok don't answer that, I know I'm a fanny...

Pisghetti · 17/01/2015 16:56

You're only a fanny for asking if you're a fanny Wink maybe she has colleagues she doesn't want to know yet? I didn't do a FB announcement as I don't have many friends I told everyone I wanted to know IRL anyway but I certainly don't mind seeing other people's! And I would hate anyway to feel Sad because I didn't do one.

Eek Zyla! Sorry to hear that and glad you're being looked after now even if it is scary. Hope you managed to get some sleep x

Aw that's pants Tee. Hope you make up soon (but only when all the F&N has gone)

KatoPotato · 17/01/2015 16:57

You're no a fanny La! Well, if you are then so am I which I highly doubt!

LaLa5 · 17/01/2015 17:14

Mini that's great that you got your refund!! Are you speaking yet?

Popz any update on pingu?

Thanks guys I know, my stupid paranoia...

mountaingirl01 · 17/01/2015 17:22

La- you're not at all! Facebook is there for a reason: to connect people across the globe in an easily accessible way. I didn't put up a status when dh and I got engaged as I was concerned for people who might be single and upset- as a result when we then married I had people who were annoyed that we didn't tell them we were getting married! Likewise my cousin asked people not to put up her wedding photos as she 'wanted to keep it private' whereas I know that if I had said the same, some of my family and friends who never have got the chance to see them only a little big headed of me to think they would want to despite the green eyed monster every time I see someone put up a status, I will still -god willing- be doing so in 7 weeks time. It is an entirely personal decision and your friend is mean for making you feel a fanny!

willywallace · 17/01/2015 17:22

Hope you've made up Mini.

La maybe they're just a bit apprehensive after everything they've been through? Or maybe just more private in general? It doesn't make you a fanny just because you do things differently from someone else.

laurenamium · 17/01/2015 17:24

Hope you're okay zyla Thanks

mini I hope you and DP make up soon! Arguing is the worst, I hope it's nothing too serious!

I'm so tired again lately, hoping it will pass some time soon as I have lots to be doing! I'm going to a wedding fair tomorrow with a friend Grin

ChatEnOeuf · 17/01/2015 17:38

Definitely not a fanny, La. Some people just do like to keep things to themselves (or just a select group). My US friends did, as the mat leave there is terrible, so they kept the pregnancy off FB until she'd handed her notice in. And some people are just weird Grin

Urgent Fred needed!!

LaLa5 · 17/01/2015 17:40

Zyla how are you feeling? I don't think anyone would ever think you were letting anyone down. This isn't your fault Flowers
