Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I think low risk is anything above 1:150 or 1:100 - can't remember which. Hoping to have mine when I get home. When do you next see midwife? You could ask her opinion.

LaLa5 · 16/01/2015 06:08

Bloody man just tried to pee on me again drunkenly thinking my side of bed was toilet as he turned right too early. That's it he's in spare room!

ZylaB · 16/01/2015 06:57

dulcet it was once I'd got over it a little bit Grin

la tie a know in it for him next time he does that! I enjoyed lazy Daisy yes, it was nice and relaxing, doing gentle stretches and breathing. Felt nice to have some time specially for me and baby :)

Fleurchamp · 16/01/2015 07:10

dulcet I'm not sure if it's the same thing but usually I am not much of a worrier.
BUT in the last month especially I have been struggling to sleep as I have things running through my head- DH works away a lot, he always has done, but I now worry about him flying etc. and get quite tearful if I don't hear from him at the exact moment he said he will call (he is very good at calling and texting when he says he will) and I end up checking his flights online. I have never been like this.
I also analyse everything - my friend who didn't reply ( usually I just think, oh they're busy), every ache, twinge means I am losing the baby.

I am also finding work really hard. I do a stressful job, I usually thrive on it and love being busy but recently I just want to hide away. I worry excessively about doing something wrong.
Oh and I am abnormally worried about buying jeans Grin

Sorry for the essay! Just thought I would share.

willywallace · 16/01/2015 07:18

Glad you enjoyed it Zyla.

La how bloody drunk was he? MrWil has once peed on a pile of clothes on the floor when he was out the game hammered and I didn't let him forget it for ages. Definitely spare room time after drinking.

I'm not a size 8 Dulcet although I do get away with wearing smaller sizes because I'm short.

Apparently up to 33% of women experience pregnancy depression or anxiety could be a made up internet fact which I think definitely makes is a thing. I'm more prone to the depression side but that's because I don't have much stress in my life to make me anxious.

La, other people's results aren't important. In percentage terms it's telling you that there's a 99.5% likelihood that your baby will not have one of the trisomies tested for. Which is lower than the risk posed by having an amnio. Of course anyone could be the one person and you wouldn't know for sure without either Harmony or invasive tests but they're pretty good odds.

laurenamium · 16/01/2015 07:20

Morning viroids! Haynets are a good idea la, I hate those Grin

I'm also not a tiny size 8!

I'm so glad it's Friday this week has been a long one!

TheBooMonster · 16/01/2015 07:32

I used to be a tiny size 6(!) then I met my DH and started eating far too much do what I fancy and I'm now walking the line between 12 and 14... I'm off to slimming world when I stop breast feeding (there's an incentive to bf if ever I did know one!) with a plan to get back down to 9 and a bit stone.

Eew la drunken idiot!

grumble mrBoo is in the bad book already this morning. MiniBoo spent 10 minutes squawking "dadadad" so I eventually went through and got her assuming he'd already left for work and had just left a light on downstairs to find the computer in the final throes of shutting down and him trying to look busy in the kitchen when we got down, whatever the hell he was pissing round with on the computer was seemingly more important than his shouting daughter! And he had the bloody cheek to pretend he hadn't even been on the computer!guess who ended up dealing with clearing up his breakfast crap grumble grumble grumble

LaLa5 · 16/01/2015 07:42

Ah that's good thank you it didn't come with explanation so I was a bit confused. Either way I will dearly love my child and cherish him/her but the results are another pregnancy milestone on this journey.

He looked v confused when I turned light on and my head wasn't the toilet. He's not as drunk as he used to get, but enough to be a bit wobbly. I don't care as long as goes to sleep, doesn't snore and faces away from me (the fumes make me sick!)

So tired, he got in at 3 and I never got back to sleep

I'm looking forward to daisy, I think I'm going to enjoy it :)

Boo - he's naughty!

LaLa5 · 16/01/2015 07:47

Fleur - it does sound like anxiety, as those are all thoughts I would normally have. If you like I could give you some techniques that help me when I start to spiral? If it gets too much do go and speak to someone. I had CBT and it was brilliant, but there are lots of sources of help and some work better for different people.

I think important thing is to know you're not being daft and anxiety is very common, particularly when you're preparing for a life event like a baby. Your yoga breathing and exercises will help if you need to calm yourself a bit, or classes like daisy. Let me know if you want me to send you some info.

LaLa5 · 16/01/2015 08:04

God I've got my fleur and dulcet mixed up. Sleep deprivation...

teejayem · 16/01/2015 10:09

Happy Friday everyone!

Ah, I remember being a size 8, I thought I looked fabulous but I don't think my diet of Marlboro and triple shot Americanos did much for my nutrition. I packed it on since being with Mr tee and sit at a 12, about 10st 6 under normal circs. I've got a big bum and big boobs which he likes, so good times! (Do often fantasise about being a stone lighter tho) I've gone up to just over 11st since being duffed which is actually a bit less than I expected but as it's been pointed out I'm not drinking vats of wine anymore which is full of (delicious) empty calories. Plus I just had zero appetite first trim. Now I'm like a Hoover. Nothing is safe. I really want a hot sausage roll, argh!

ZylaB · 16/01/2015 10:32

Waiting on lab results in hospital. Blood pressure was down which is excellent but protein in urine again so need to waiting see what lab results say and what they want to do. I just want to eat scones and sleep though!!!

willywallace · 16/01/2015 10:36

Good luck Zyla, keeping fingers crossed for you.

My toddler is turning into a nightmare. She is either screaming for tv or food. There are so many blooming toys for her to play with and she eats like a horse so she's certainly not hungry. She is giving me the rage.

Fleurchamp · 16/01/2015 10:49

Good luck zyla

la I have no real idea about the downs testing results. TBH I think the NHS aren't great in this aspect and so was swayed into the private harmony test. I completely understand if people don't though.

As someone has said, a higher number changes the % by 0.1 at a time, even 1 in 100 is pretty good odds!

LaLa5 · 16/01/2015 10:51

Good luck zyla

Wil oh dear! Cbeebies?

I am generally size 10 but I ballooned in final year of undergrad and got stuck for a few years 2 stone heavier than I am now (pre pregnancy). I've put on 8lb so far in pregnancy due to only being able to stomach unhealthy stuff early on. I'm now balancing that with healthy diet hoping to slow down weight gain

KatoPotato · 16/01/2015 11:20

I'm here! Sorry everyone, we've had the MEGA shared birthday party for DS and had a fair few partyzilla moments with the other mums, work and life in general!

But I'm here, and I see Purple has joined us! Hurrah! and Mountain? Did I even welcome you? and Essie? I'm sorry I've been rubbish!

Thankfully I spoke to my boss about training payment, mentioned the discrimination word, wrang my hands a bit, and today he's told me I'm getting a double payment this month and not to worry about it! - So glad I actually stood up for myself!

I've got my MATB1 form and filled in my forms for work, but HR still havn't got back to me with an appt time to make sure it's okay! I'll give her another week then just hand the form in anyway, then I presume it'll be more work for her to fix it - ha, don't ignore me!

I'm usually a 10, but that's eating protein shakes, chicken and kale and weight lifting and going to spin class four times a week. 20 weeks off this regime and I'm too scared to go near the scales! My BMI was higher at booking in because BMI is stupid and doesn't account for muscle mass (kisses where guns used to be!)

I started Yoga Bellies last week and it's great, a lot of oommmmnummmmnummm and cringey 'love your bump chat' but the poses are good, and the last 10 minute of class you get to lie on a mat with a pillow and blanket and go into 'self hypnosis' then she gives you Lindt dark chocolate (full of Iron)

Topshop maternity range is fab, a lot of bits that are Mat versions of clothes in the main shop floor. Sizing is good to, I find a 10 to be ample, not like H&M where I had to get a size 14 skinny jean??

RPopz · 16/01/2015 11:20

Anything less than 1 in 150 is classed as high risk La so you're well within. Results sound better expressed as a percentage!

Fleur The NHS combined test is very highly regulated and works well.... but it is just a screen (unlike the Harmony which is a definitive diagnostic test but you pay through the nose for...). Your result could be one in a million but you could still be that one...

LaLa5 · 16/01/2015 11:31

I'm a fanny. I read the results wrong, it's 1:2000

Oops

Kato I want to go to your exercise classes!!!! I want to lie on the floor and eat chocolate! Glad you got pay sorted!

I sorted my mat leave yesterday and I have 113 days left of work, hooray!

Just had first uninvited bump feel at work! Didn't mind because she's someone I like but still bit odd! Getting lots of 'how long have you got left?' from people. Disturbing...

Kato tell us partyzilla stories! I love a good unreasonable mum story!

Did you see the AIBU where it was about hen party in Marbella then the sister came on who it was about and had a go, but everyone thinks it's OP pretending to be sister? Brilliant!

RPopz · 16/01/2015 12:00

Lol La! Grin

KatoPotato · 16/01/2015 12:04

What's the thread title LA??

RPopz · 16/01/2015 12:18

Oh bloody hell, help viroids! Taking the poor nameless child to be registered this afternoon and I still can't decide if he's a Ted or an Isaac.... Everyone else is stuck on Ted - and tbf so was I for the whole of my pregnancy... Why is this so hard?!?!?!

willywallace · 16/01/2015 12:22

Hahaha I saw the thread but haven't seen the update from 'sister'. That nearly always means it's a troll but they can still be quite funny.

Didn't bloody get chocolate at my yoga class.

Ah even better La!

Felt something pop earlier when lifting the toddler into the car and now am all sorts of uncomfy. Don't think it's in a 'labour' type way though. Oh well, excuse to sit on my arse all day then. Have already put dinner in the slow cooker so feeling slightly virtuous.

willywallace · 16/01/2015 12:26

Oh shit Popz! You managed to get your way about Arthur then? So did you say it would be Theo (or Theodore) with Ted for short or are you just thinking Ted as full name? I know a couple of Theos and one Isaac but no Teds. If that makes any difference whatsoever. Is there a middle name which sounds better with one of them? I actually like both so I'm not going to be much help...

RPopz · 16/01/2015 12:40

Theodore, Ted for short, (but he can change to Theo when he's a cool teen Wink) Middle name has to be Thomas. We agreed he's not an Arthur, though it's DH's fave. He's not keen on Isaac but I think he'd go with it if I cried insisted... Why's it so hard?!?

RPopz · 16/01/2015 12:41

TOTALLY outing myself right now...
