Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I make so many decisions that way Dulcet.

Was going to suggest you called him Ted Isaac Thomas Popz, but just realised the initials spell out TIT Grin . Just use Pingu

I'm feeling so hormonal today.

ZylaB · 17/01/2015 09:45

Morning! It's been an....interesting night! Woke up (for that read came to) with 3 strange men around my bed! Turns out I'd had a really bad hypo, unconscious and everything and dh didn't know if it was diabetes related or preeclampsia so called 999. They took me to hospital in the ambulance and since then I've been in a and e, the labour suite for checks on baby, and am now on a ward waiting to see docs in the hope I can go home!!

It seems to have just been diabetes related, baby is fine, but we're knackered!! Am missing second half of nct class and had posh meal booked for tonight!

I want to go back to life being boring lol. Hope you're all ok :)

mountaingirl01 · 17/01/2015 09:51

Viroids, freaking out. No symptoms. No painful boobies no nausea. Nothing but some bloat. This is starting to feel scarily like last time.

mountaingirl01 · 17/01/2015 09:52

Oh wow cross post zyla sorry, serves me right for not refreshing the page. Now I feel like a hypochondriac! Hope you get home soon xxx

Fleurchamp · 17/01/2015 09:54

Morning ladies! I had an amazing night's sleep. Bounced out of bed and went swimming but ruined it by having a hot chocolate and croissant in the cafe whilst waiting for DH
dulcet I think my anxiety has been made worse by tiredness, I have much more irrational thoughts after a bad night's sleep.
Still, DH was telling me about his travel for the next couple of weeks and I cried because 1. He is taking about 12 flights and 2. Because he is going to cities which may be at risk of terrorist attacks. I am constantly worrying about him.
Before I was really blasé and would just give him a list of things to get me from duty free Grin

willywallace · 17/01/2015 10:09

God what a stressful night/morning for everyone.

Purplecircle · 17/01/2015 10:17

Tell me about cat litter trays please. We don't have a cat but I'm going to my sisters to look after the kids next week and she has 3 cats who use a litter tray.
If I use gloves am I ok?
The kids are too young to do it.
DH is going too but has never owned a cat and looked quite ill at the thought. I can tell him to man up but I was hoping there is a safe way for me to do it

Purplecircle · 17/01/2015 10:18

Oh god I should have read first. Bugger Zyla hope you're ok lovie

willywallace · 17/01/2015 10:21

Sorry, MiniWil pressed send.

Zyla that is scary, hope you're ok. Thank God your DP was there.

Mountain you're not being a hypochondriac at all. I have no words of wisdom except try not to panic about the unknown Thanks . How many weeks are you?

Fleur also try not to worry. People fly every day and live in these cities and it sounds as if this is all normal for your husband. Very unlikely anything would happen to him. I understand though, wouldn't like to be left so much when pg either - your brain runs away with you.

willywallace · 17/01/2015 10:24

You can do it with gloves if you also was your hands well afterwards Purple, however I think you should tell him to man up. It's not as bad as changing a nappy!

willywallace · 17/01/2015 10:24

*wash

teejayem · 17/01/2015 10:28

Crumbs Zyla, you poor thing, hope they let you out soon xx

purple we have 3 cats and I make Mr tee do it, he'd never done it before I was duffed, and he constantly moans about it, but I've said its tough.
However, he works away prob 2/4 weeks in the month so I end up doing it myself too, we use flushable litter, so I don my marigolds and then bleach the scoop and the toilet and disinfect the handles of the box AND. wash my hands. I think when I had my bleed I was tested for toxo and I'm immune anyway totally not telling Mr tee that, it's the least he can do but it won't hurt to be careful.

Stoatystoat · 17/01/2015 10:32

Can I come in please?

JS have kept me company and I've POAS and lo and behold, I think I'm up duffed. Help!

Purplecircle · 17/01/2015 10:52

Oooh stoat welcome and congrats spoken like a veteran

LaLa5 · 17/01/2015 10:55

Jeez zyla I'm glad you're ok! How scary but kudos to mr zyla for acting quickly. Hope you get to go home soon

Wil 'tit' made me laugh! We want to give ours middle name starting with a and it's tough to find something that doesn't spell out something daft. So far we've had BAW and MAW

Hi stoat congrats on bfp! Did you do a kitten? Grin

Mountain considering how much shit you've been through I'm not surprised you're anxious but biggest thing I can say is you have no control over things just now so worrying is natural but it's not going to help or change anything. You're very early and having few symptoms is perfectly normal just now. I didn't get proper symptoms until 7 weeks, then it hit me like a wave! Bloat is a good natural normal symptom.

Purple you should ask your dh to do the litter trays. If he really won't then wear gloves on both hands and scrub hands afterwards. I've got 2 cats and I don't do the trays since being pg although I'm prob immune to it from years of cats. The couple of times I've had no choice I put plastic bags over my hands and washed them afterwards. He needs to man up though!

LaLa5 · 17/01/2015 10:56

What are your edd mountain, stoat and purple? I'll whack you on the stats it's not my favourite thing to do no not at all

LaLa5 · 17/01/2015 10:57

Ooh nearly new thread time actually! Who wants to volunteer? Wil do you fancy the honours as it's your last one upduffed?

Stoatystoat · 17/01/2015 11:13

I didn't do a kitten! The witch was due yesterday so I have been almost restrained! 27th September apparently, but we'll see if I calculated right.

Yes purple, DH needs to do the litter tray! Considering all you're about to go through it's the least he can do

DH is fannying around deciding when we are going out - we'd planned commiseration lunch and cocktails but that line has put paid to that. Now my sister and mates are going for a coffee and cake and DH says to go with them but I just can't! Not knowing this and not being able to say anything. I want it to be secret a little bit longer. In all honesty, I think I'm going to tell my sister quite soon, we are very close, see each other a few times a week, it'll be too hard and I'll need her whatever happens.

I've had a VERY bad back this week. Do you think this was the cause?

mountaingirl01 · 17/01/2015 11:15

Thanks viroids, I think I'm around 5 weeks, not sure exactly when I iced and trying not to think it through too obsessively. Basically due middle to end September.
Fleur, I'm completely with you on the dh anxiety. Mine is off ice climbing in Feb (I was going with him till upduff) and I'm terrified it always scares me when he climbs (although I do it too Hmm ) but this time it is even worse. I'm assuming some natural internal instinct to protect the protectors of our children?!

ZylaB · 17/01/2015 11:19

Bugger, shit and bollocks!!!

I've got protein in my urine again. Seen doc who says she really wants me to stay in for more monitoring, but was talking about giving me steroids on Monday so I'm in at least all weekend :(.

It's too early, I'm petrified.

RPopz · 17/01/2015 11:30

Shit Sad How many weeks are you Zy? Will they try and keep you going til 37 weeks? A friend of mine was induced at 35 weeks due to PE and GD complications and he is absolutely fine. Massive hugs xxx

Haha, Wil - we've already had the TIT conversation Grin

Welcome Stoat, congratulations!

ZylaB · 17/01/2015 11:31

I'm only 33+1 :(

I wanted her in here until 38 weeks, but would be happy with anything over 36

willywallace · 17/01/2015 11:32

Ice climbing Mountain? That would scare the shit out of me at any time. I have jumped out of a plane, skied, gone on rollercoasters and in tiny 4 seater planes but the most scared I have been was doing a glacier walk. Bloody hate ice. Kudos to you.

Zyla, don't panic. I totally understand you don't feel ready at that stage - hell I don't even feel ready now - but it's an ok gestation for Hannah to be born at if necessary. I know it's not what you'd hope for and of course if she can stay in a bit longer that would be preferable but she'll be well looked after whatever happens. Hope being in hospital isn't too horrendous for you.

I'll pass on starting thread because I'm technologically incompetent I'm on my phone and am currently supposed to be sorting out MiniWil's bedroom.

LaLa5 · 17/01/2015 11:43

Crossing everything zyla, you're in the best place to be and well cared for. Hope you're ok xxx

Mountain kudos to you! No way would I do that! But it's natural to worry about the father of your baby

Stoat I would be shite at keeping it secret and would tell my sis if I had one Grin. Do you have any dc already? It's lovely that you can spend today with your dh and get excited. Back is def a symptom I had that as my first symptom both times!

DulcetMoans · 17/01/2015 11:44

God zyla, what a nightmare! And so scary to wake up in hospital. Hope you're being looked after at least. Staying in is not ideal but if it keeps you safe then it has to be the right thing. Not a great end to the pregnancy but if it gets your girl here safely then all worth it!

Your worry is normal mountain, we all felt it and having MC does make you more tuned into it. No one can tell you for sure, unfortunately it's a waiting game. What I can say though is it's early for symptoms still and they come and go anyway. At the beginning me and la said every other day there were no symptoms and we thinks it's over and then half an hour after we would feel crap again. You forget that bit though, you just remember the worrying bit. Keep strong!

I've passed on the cat litter since being upduffed too purple. Probably immune having had cats this long but it's still a DH job now. If you do it just take extra care!

Hi stoat, welcome! Queue the feeling shit and worrying for a few weeks. We will help you through!
