Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

I like both names popz! There's lots of Isaac's around at the minute, this one was going to be called Isaac and still might be if DP gets his way! I love it its just very popular at the minute!

Pisghetti · 16/01/2015 12:50

That sounds like the most awesome exercise class in the world!

So much for my brief positivity stint. I'm now feeling very sorry for myself Sad. I've had a belly ache (and I've a LOT of belly to ache) since I got up yesterday morning and nothing is shifting it. Eating doesn't change it, getting baby to move doesn't do anything, DP is feeding me prune juice but I've done a decent poo and that didn't help. Currently sat 'doggy style' on the sofa as that's the only way I'm comfy. So glam Hmm I'm getting lots of Toni Bs but can't feel those much. Just notice my bump is hard sometimes. Checked my blood pressure as DrG diagnosed preeclampsia (hypochondriac much?) and that's fine. The Dream Genii is awesome though - I was comfortably up all night Grin

Eek Wil you're due on Monday!! Soooo close!

Pisghetti · 16/01/2015 12:52

Ooh missed a bit - not much to add but like them both. Tough call Popz Confused

Purplecircle · 16/01/2015 12:58

Afternoon lovelies, Zyla hope everything is ok.
RPopz I think all those names are lovely, not that it helps Smile

I've been for a fasting blood test and got lost at the hospital...epic fail

I've also rung the midwife and have my booking in appt for 16th Feb. I mentioned anxiety and an early scan and she said I need to see my GP if it's bad.
I have to go get a Bounty pack from the GP whatever that is
Thinking about a private early scan. Found a place that does them on a Saturday for £100

Purplecircle · 16/01/2015 13:10

I've thrown caution and cash to the wind and booked a private early scan for 7th Feb. It's £99 to help me feel less anxious, small price to pay

ZylaB · 16/01/2015 13:16

purple if you check the NICE guidelines they're supposed to 'check viability and confirm gestational age' between 7-9 weeks. Ask them how they're planning on doing that if they don't scan you??

So, I'm home, but really worried! My bp has come down (well done meds!) but I have protein in urine again, and my bloods came back with slightly lowered platelets and also showing one of the markers for liver function. These, combined with the fact I have high bp which is being medicated are all signs of preeclampsia. I've got to go in for more bloods on Monday and am seeing consultants again on wed.

I asked my SIL how likely it is to go full blown, she said it doesn't always, but then asked if they'd discussed steroid injections with me and told me they'd probably like to get me to 36 weeks but that anything past34 is good. So I'm fretting.....

Just hope things stay as they are now for a or few weeks....

ZylaB · 16/01/2015 13:17

*for another few weeks

willywallace · 16/01/2015 13:18

You don't have to get the Bounty pack Purple, I don't bother with them. It's mostly junk and advertising but with a few money off vouchers for Pampers etc.

I know Pis, shhh, I'm pretending it's ages away. Hardly slept last night so may try to go for a snooze.

I think Theodore Thomas sounds a bit better than Isaac Thomas if that helps although only marginally. I sense you're leaning towards Isaac though. I think Ted is cute. MrWil professes not to like MiniWil's name and mentions it all the time which is frigging annoying.

Fleurchamp · 16/01/2015 14:19

I love Theo and Ted Smile

I also like Ned but DH has used his power of veto Sad

Fleurchamp · 16/01/2015 14:23

Half the vouchers in my bounty pack were out if date Sad chucked it all away!

Purplecircle · 16/01/2015 14:30

Bugger, the midwife said it was full of information. She told me not to eat Brie and pate...that's it!

Fleurchamp · 16/01/2015 15:27

That's pretty much it purple even sushi that has been frozen first is fair game!

willywallace · 16/01/2015 15:29

There are some little booklets in it but nothing groundbreaking. It does have the SIDS guidance etc.

TheBooMonster · 16/01/2015 15:39

purple each bounty pack comes with a little book that's half adverts half useful stuff, so there will be some info in there, and all sorts of little samples. when you come to picking up your 'mum to be' pack I've heard if you go to Asda it has clothing in, boots had a hooded towel with a persil logo on when I got mine (I didn't know about the advantage of Asda at the time). A woman on the ward will give you another one after you've had the baby that has benefits forms in etc, but tell her to go stuff herself if she tries to make you pay for photo's, we paid an arm and a leg for a pack of photo's because our woman was really pushy, and the rainbow blanket looks fab, unfortunately DD looks like a blurred alien O.o

ZylaB · 16/01/2015 16:03

The bounty women on the wards are there to get your personal details, because the company sells them on, and they use the info paying for photos to get it! Just be aware of that :)

RPopz · 16/01/2015 16:04

Soooo I cancelled the appointment Blush I just worry Ted is a bit... silly? And Theodore might have him made fun of... But Everyone likes it and no one likes Isaac... It's possible my brain is just being petulant...

TheBooMonster · 16/01/2015 16:08

zyla that doesn't surprise me at all... hoping we can avoid the bounty lady like the plague this time, as I can't give old details now all my cards have changed...

popz how long have you got left to register a name?

ZylaB · 16/01/2015 16:16

popz there's nothing wrong with ted/theodore or isaac, BUT you need to be sure, don't stress over it :)

willywallace · 16/01/2015 16:43

I don't think we had a Bounty woman on our ward. Noone has even mentioned Bounty to me this time. I got first pack from midwife and that has been it. They emailed me about 4 times a blooming week last time.

Ted isn't silly. I know what you mean about Theodore - I think it's lovely but I suppose it's quite posh so maybe depends where you live. Although if you're planning to use Ted or Theo I don't really think it matters. Don't listen to what anyone else says about Isaac except for MrPopz. Nobody else's opinion matters. You have quite a long time to register don't you? I think we have to do it more quickly up here.

willywallace · 16/01/2015 16:44

Also, yes Kato, spill about party mums! On fb if necessary to keep it private.

KatoPotato · 16/01/2015 17:30

oh facebook is a brilliant ideas

LaLa5 · 16/01/2015 17:41

I love Theodore and Ted! Those are both on my boy list, I want to call mine Teddy when he's little but dh told me no. His dad is Ted and is so lovely so I thought that was an omen. My friend just named hers Theodore with Theo for short and he's gorgeous. Isaac is a lovely name too but I prefer Ted. It's so personal though to you and your little family! It's so hard to advise anyone else on their baby's name because you know what you prefer and what he looks like.

Kato yes! Spill!

Zyla I'm keeping my fx for you that you can get some reassurance on Monday, you are doing really well x

Wil - bounce bounce! gets out pom poms in preparation

Purple as you're diabetic I would be very surprised if you didn't get a free viability scan as zyla said. Make sure you ask.

Mountain - are you out there? Did you ask mw about viability scan?

willywallace · 16/01/2015 17:48

Haha pom poms will have to go back in the box La, nothing happening here. I had to open a bottle of red for the cooking and now really want a glass. Mr Wil said "there's not really much point at this stage after abstaining for the last 9 months is there?" Hmm Not the response I wanted. My resolve is weakening.

Fleurchamp · 16/01/2015 17:53

Right, I am taking the plunge. Who do I have to sleep with email to join the Facebook page? Grin

LaLa5 · 16/01/2015 17:54

Nae chance wil, they're out now! Primed, washed, fluffed and standing by for action!
