Only leak here if I squish the boob which I dont do as there sooo sore...anybody else have big massive veins in them? By night time the veins are actually risen up ewww

Blondie87 · 31/12/2014 10:59

Thanks Kitty! It was wonderful to see him and so relieved that so far all is looking good. Sounds like you've got a real wiggler too!

Blondie87 · 31/12/2014 11:01

Thanks mumof3- enjoy seeing your little man on Monday!

WigglyWigglyWoo · 31/12/2014 11:19

22+2 with team yellow here. Still fairly tiny bump but feeling much more frequent movements. Every time DH comes for a feel the baby stops moving which he's finding frustrating!!

leanne963 · 31/12/2014 11:23

Wow I can't wait to say tomorrow that our daughter will be here this year!

Just a question about movements....I've been feeling definite kicks since boxing day night. She seems to be most active when I'm lying still just before bed. But last night the movements were a lot lighter and I didn't get kicks which took my breath away like I did he past couple days.

Of course, me being me, I'm worrying but the rational side of my brain is telling me I still have movements so that's good and that she is still so small that I could not always feel it.

Can someone cyber slap me lol and tell me I am being over paranoid. Haha

Titsalinabumsquash · 31/12/2014 11:26

I get a variety of movements, light/hard/rhythmic/odd bumps here and there.

There is still room for the to move around so your LO may have turned into a new position, plus where stronger movements might be kicks with legs, lighter ones may just be a brush of a tiny hand or a little bump with the head. Smile

It is great you are feeling movement leanne! They aren't always the same though-depending on what is moving (leg or arm or head etc) so don't panic! I don't 'see' movement everytime and can still be tiny pops or big arse 'kicks'. Any movement at this stage is reassuring to you (she says with Kitlet having a little party in my belly right now!) It's only in the last week that I have had movement more throughout the day as before, it was mostly in the evening/at night too!

mumxof3x · 31/12/2014 11:29

Leanne do not worry at this stage thats how it is, and position alters how you feel them too. Some days I barely have anything other then light movements and then others are much stronger x

KittyVonCatsington · 31/12/2014 11:31

X-post! Everything Tits said! Xmas Grin

KittyVonCatsington · 31/12/2014 11:33

And mum Xmas Wink

leanne963 · 31/12/2014 12:12

Thanks tits kitty and mum you are all right! I think I need to do some meditation or something to chill me out! Might be my news years resolution ha!

Do any of you have a new years resolution?!

Sunshinesaz86 · 31/12/2014 13:29

Afternoon ladies, I'm just starting to feel proper movements now at 20+6 which is lovely.

I went and bought a few maternity bits yesterday from H&M and am now sporting some very comfy mat jeans n top today. Feels nice to actually have clothes that fit properly, also treated myself to a new coat, not a maternity one just a size bigger so got some room in it to grow should do me until I finish for maternity leave.

Back in work Friday so making the most of the last two days off. I hope very one else is still enjoying their hols x

mumxof3x · 31/12/2014 14:30

I cant think of any resolutions lol I always say to eat right blah blah, but never stick to them. Hopefully this year will be the one I pass my driving test and get a car :) certainly will make life easier rather then buses to school everyday lol.

Chookford · 31/12/2014 15:42

blondie massive congrats on team blue!!

Bazza2 · 31/12/2014 15:56

Driving test and car for me too.

I will also get a fabulous job that pays loads but is ok with me being on maternity (with full pay, obvs) and somehow pregnancy will magically cause me to lose all my unnecessary fat and grow eight inches taller. Pregnancy does that, right?

Chookford · 31/12/2014 16:11

bazza yep... That's how pregnancy is, after all the worry and the pain I think we deserve some good things to happen afterwards! (As well as having a baby of course!!)

Turquoisetamborine · 31/12/2014 16:25

New Years resolutions? Not to be such a walkover I think. I seem to have everyone else's kids and no one ever offers to help me. I'm struggling with tiredness in this pregnancy and I could really do with an overnight break.
I looked at my diary today and the last time me and H went out as a couple was the end of September! Meanwhile my brother and his wife who has a 2 yr old and a 11 week old have had their kids looked after by my mam for the last four Saturdays overnight. They take the piss and it means I only get a break when I'm at work. I'm feeling really mad about this, don't know if I'm hormonal or being unreasonable.
I didn't go out anywhere without DS until he was 6 months old and even then H called me home early as he wouldn't take a bottle!

Scottishgal78 · 31/12/2014 16:29

Congratulations Blondie! Even though it's a sober new year I'm more exciting about the new year than ever because I know how important 2015 is going to be. I order a maternity swimsuit today. New Year's resolution - swimming! Happy New Year everyone! x

leanne963 · 31/12/2014 17:17

Oh turquoise although I am not a mum yet I can understand the frustration! You love your LO but just one night to be grown ups again and have no talk of bottles, puke and poo would be a nice treat.

Chookford · 31/12/2014 18:05

turquoise I don't think you are being unreasonable at all, to have your mum covering 4 weekends on the trot is pretty selfish... My mum would tell me where to go if I proposed that! Can you have a word with your mum and just say you and your dh

Chookford · 31/12/2014 18:06

Oops posted too soon then..

Need a night off so if she could babysit on night it would be most appreciated and book it in so your brother can't over book on that date!

Racheyg · 31/12/2014 18:23

Hey can I join. Due 31st may I find out in 2 weeks what I'm having. So excited cannot wait Grin

leanne963 · 31/12/2014 18:34

Welcome Rachey Congratulations :)

kittiker · 31/12/2014 18:42

Ordered my first baby thing - a Snuzpod bedside crib thingy. So exciting but a bit nerve wracking! This is my first so we have quite a lot to get. PILs have offered to get our pram, which is fab of them - we like the Baby Jogger City Mini GT. Has anyone else ordered / bought anything?

Also, anyone got any recommendations for reusable nappies? I quite fancy the idea, especially as our bin only gets lifted every two weeks!

Racheyg · 31/12/2014 18:43

Thanks. Congrats to you all aswell. This is my second pregnancy but did realise this place existed when I was pregnant 2 years ago. Xx
