Smug I already got lower hip/pelvis pain a bit before I was pregnant, and it does seem to have got worse since. Dreading what it's going to be like in a few months as I'm tossing and turning and still waking up sore at the moment. Will probably have to buy some pillows or something eventually. :-/
Hope everyone is doing okay. jazzy I hope you're okay and it turns out to be nothing to worry about. Thrush can sometimes cause unusual cm so fingers crossed it's just that.

Chookford · 18/12/2014 14:46

I'm waking up most nights now too aching have found my pregnancy pillow today, so time to crack that bad boy out now.. My dh hates that pillow with a passion!! Grin

jazzyjenbo · 18/12/2014 14:47

Hi all, thanks for the thoughts... I heard a very strong clear HB, but she is concerned about the amount of pink.. I took my pad's with me Confused... Thinks it maybe a cervical erosion rather than the thrush so wants me to get checked at hospital. I'll give them a ring later to see when i can be seen. Main thing is that bean is still happy! Just keeping me busy already.. Pregnancy after MC is so hard!

Chookford · 18/12/2014 14:49

jazzy hooray!!! Glad bean is doing ok, even if they are causing you stress already Smile

Glad baby is ok Jazzy :)

HexyQueen · 18/12/2014 14:55

Glad to hear jazzy, hope they get whatever it is sorted out so you can de-stress a bit, tho pregnancy after mc is never easy psychologically. Big hugs.
(Oh, clever thinking taking the pads with you that lady! always easier to show someone what u mean as opposed to telling them, which in my experience nurses usually assume you are exaggerating symptoms.)

Xxx

cuphat · 18/12/2014 15:16

Jazzy, I'm glad baby is ok.

croon979 · 18/12/2014 15:19

strnog heartbeat is great news Jazzy, take care xx

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 18/12/2014 16:18

Great news Jazzy on hearing baby's heartbeat and good that they are going to check out the source of the bleeding

Smug I've been getting hip and back pain for a few weeks. I bought a dreamgenii pillow which tbh i haven't really got on with. My nan then gave me one of those v shaped pillows and I had a better nights sleep with that. Hopefully the greamgenii will be useful later on

Rang triage at the hospital and they asked lots of questions and believed me about the pink! In the end they decided that seeing me atm would prob b painful as they think it is highly likely that its the irritation from thrush causing it.
She asked if i could come and collect some pessary cream and as it happens my mum works on the scbu right next to triage so is getting my prescription. She said if it doesnt settle then to go in on monday. I'm happy with that.
Sorry about the me me me posts today, kyz hope ur scan went well and hope everyone else is feeling well. X

Gr33dyeggs · 18/12/2014 17:51

Evening all. I'm just popping in to congratulate you all on your scans! Sorry to see you've lost some more June bugs though.
Also to say I had a meeting at the hospital because I complained about the service at the weekend I mc. They agreed mistakes were made and that they are making improvements. I hope not to have to see if they succeed, but glad something will be done to prevent others the agonising wait for a scan.
I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 6 months.

sparkle17 · 18/12/2014 19:08

So glad you got to hear your babbas hb. I hope the thrush clears up soon. Take care of yourself

sassysarahlou · 18/12/2014 19:24

Hi Ladies,

I had my scan on Monday, all was Okay, OH seemed quite excited and I was just a bag of nerves afterwards.

They had to do an internal scan because they couldnt see the back of the neck with the first one. I sent OH out of the room, didnt feel ready for him to be there for that kind of thing but I suppose I will have to get used to it. They still couldn't see with that scan, so have to go back on the 29th for a blood test.

Silver lining was at least we got clear picture with having the other scan.

It's sinking in a bit now, still can't really believe that I have a baby inside though.

Due date is now 22nd June (was 27th)

Sarah

Sassy are you having the quad blood test? I have to go back at 15 weeks for that too (which irritatingly is that week between Christmas and new year!). I'm hoping they'll be open on Friday 2nd - no appointment required apparently but I hope it'll be quiet as it's just bloods I need doing.

Jazzy - really relieved for you.

Gr33dy - lovely to hear from you! Good luck in the new year.

Lol

traceybaybee · 18/12/2014 20:31

Plus how do you reply to comments to the name comes up in bold in the comment? I dont know how to do it Xmas Blush

Elizabethnaylor1980 · 18/12/2014 20:45

tracey put * before and after the words you want in bold :).

Totally not pregnancy related but tomorrow marks the beginning of 6 weeks of sad anniversaries, tomorrow would have been my Parents 50th wedding anniversary, then Christmas without my parents, then my dad's 18th year anniversary on 3rd January and then my Mums 2 year anniversary on 28th January. We have started to tell a few close friends and family about the baby today and each one without exception said "you must be heartbroken neither your mum or dad will be here to meet them", I used all of my energy to not cry in front of them as I know they mean well but just them saying it is a painful reminder. I am sure between now and June there will be lots more tears, as even 13 weeks in, I am missing my Mum and the support she would have given.
