Yep i hav afew skin tags aswell and my moles have got progressively darker with each pregnancy. - i have one on my face which is now getting so dark i think i'll ask for it removed after this pregnancy.

I've never bought a special pillow, just hugged a feather pillow round my bump and used a v pillow in the later weeks to sleep almost sat up as lying down was so uncomfy.

I was 6lb 12, (1 week early) dh was about 5lb (born 6 weeks early) ... My ds was 7lb 9 days late and dd 7lb4oz 1 day late. I've been put onto growth scans this time due to what they consider low birth weights.

Phryn - I am also getting slightly concerned about my husband's head size. He can never find any hats to fit him and the paper hats out of crackers always break when he tries to put them on. We have also found this rather amusing until now....:-s!

I thankfully have quite a small head in comparison so hoping that this may balance things out!

comeagainforbigfudge · 08/01/2015 12:54

Trip to ikea successful. Although the hot dog was totally not worth it!

Pillows always end up on floor with me as well. I may try putting them under bottom sheet to stop me getting rid of them so easily. Worth a shot at least.

Ah yes skin tags. I have one just under where my bra sits. Had it before got pregnant. Gp kindly froze it off.

It's grown back!! But strangely not as annoying at the moment!

JennyOfOldstones · 08/01/2015 12:56

croon my DP has the exact same problem which caused much hilarity at my expense over Christmas every time he ripped another paper hat...

bubalou · 08/01/2015 13:02

Haven't thought about weights.

Me and DH were both average 8.5ish lb babies only a few days late.

DS was 6lb 9oz - 8 days early.

Everyone keeps telling me how small I am but I don't feel if. I suppose he / she will be whatever they will be. Smile

How's everyone doing on food?

After 4 months of either not eating at all due to the hyperemesis or only eating pretzels and other salty crisps etc.

Finally I'm craving and eating loads of salad, hummus, pitta, carrot sticks, fruit and more fruit!

It's so nice to feel healthier again. Just need to up my water intake as
Much as I can.

Bellejessleo · 08/01/2015 13:13

Pleased to report we had our gender scan yesterday and we are team BLUE!! We are super excited and pleased he is a healthy active little chappy! I just want the next 5 months to go quickly now so we can meet him :-)
We aren't actually telling anyone in RL the gender, did the same with our other two...we just said we hadn't found out and will do the same again. I think it's nice to surprise people and funny having them guess what you're having too!
So nice to share the news on here!

Bazza2 · 08/01/2015 13:20

Another boy! Congratulations and welcome to the club.

WrappedInABlankie · 08/01/2015 13:50

Have people told others they're pregnant?

I'm 17 weeks on Sunday or 17+1 according to my midwife Hmm despite my due date being a Sunday and have only told family, and my sons child minder I go to college on a Wednesday and haven't told them either haha

Tranquilitybaby · 08/01/2015 13:51

Ahh team blue belle lovely x

Chookford · 08/01/2015 13:54

belle congrats! Wow the boys are really taking over!

croon979 · 08/01/2015 13:59

wowsers, another boy! congratulations Belle :)

SpodoKomodo · 08/01/2015 14:05

Congratulations Belle, lovely news!

Wrapped, I've told family, close friends my boss and a few work friends. So enough people but not "everyone" IYSWIM. I work from home so not many have seen my bump yet, although as I have to do a bit of traveling in the next few weeks, they will and I think I'll just mention it if it comes up as opposed to announcing it.

It seems to be (with me anyway), responses to a second pregnancy are a lot more muted. Just as well I'm not a Pregzilla Grin

fortywinx · 08/01/2015 14:20

Congrats Belle! So many boys now!

Pretty sure I was average 6-7lb sized but not sure about OH. Happily, he seems to have a really small head as he has been known to wear small children's hats before (his niece's mainly XD) so fingers crossed that he passes this trait to his offspring lol.

I'm more worried about the fact that his dad told me that him and OH's mum had to take shifts when OH was a baby/toddler because he would only sleep for 1-2 hours out of 24 O.o

JennyOfOldstones · 08/01/2015 14:32

Congrats belle! So many boys!

bubalou · 08/01/2015 15:04

Congrats Belle.

Wow blue team is really taking off. We must be due a big burst of pinks soon.

Smile
Tryingreallyhard84 · 08/01/2015 15:13

belle - congratulations on team blue. what lively news.

ots · 08/01/2015 15:18

Woo another boy. One of us needs to have a girl haha!

I'm managing to eat properly again now. I had weeks of only being able to eat junk, but now that my nausea has gone I can pretty much eat anything again. And I'm really going to start being more healthy now that I can.

Currently very slowly packing some more moving boxes. Very slowly because DS finds it hilarious to hide in the boxes and take stuff back out of them. He just called me a "very clever boy mummy!" For sticking a box together Grin

Bellejessleo · 08/01/2015 15:31

Thank you everyone! I read somewhere that you are more likely to conceive a boy between September- November so that maybe a reason why we are boy heavy!
Wrappedinblankie, we've told people as we've seen them but no big announcement, spodokomono, I get what u mean about more muted responses for a 2nd baby...gets even more muted by the 3rd..lol. Although I think it's because most people expect a 2nd or 3rd so the element of surprise is gone! We can all be excited for each other though Grin
Ots, I'm loving the lack or nausea and extreme exhaustion too..feel almost back to my normal self and it's so fantastic!! Am currently making a lovely homemade curry for dinner Smile

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 08/01/2015 19:01

We've told family and friends either verbally or in Christmas cards. We haven't done a big fb announcement though and I keep feeling secretly a bit excited that there are still people to tell.

Work have known since I did, but they just made it "public domain" in the weekly bulletin today so if it's anything like last time there will be a line of mummies queuing to grill me about who will be teaching my class come June congratulate me tomorrow, a bunch of over excited little girls, non plussed little boys and a class of embarrassed Y6s who all know what I've done and are too horrified to contemplate it Grin

Elizabethnaylor1980 · 08/01/2015 19:15

I have my cousins wedding at end of month where my entire family on my mums side will be there 10 uncles and aunts, at least 30 cousins (I have nearer 70 in total). I haven't seen them all in a year or so, but they will all find out in one night 1) I split with the boyfriend they knew 18months ago 2) that I have a new boyfriend of 6 months 3) I am pregnant. One cousin has met my boyfriend as we have been friends for a long time so hopefully they will all take it in their stride. We thought telling everyone at same time would be easier, as in my family, if one finds out before the other they get offended.
Aside from that, only a handful of people know, which we have quite liked, OH little girl is excited about it so relief from that point of view.

LoafersOrLouboutins · 08/01/2015 20:27

Hey! I'm new to this thread, my due date is June 25th and its my third DC (I have two DDs). My close family and best friend know, DP has told his family and friends too. I had an early gender scan today and I'm expecting a DD (absolutely delighted, I have three sisters so it will be nice to have three daughters too). Elizabeth don't worry, I'm having a baby with a former colleague and people didn't even know we were a 'thing' as I had just come out of my divorce. We haven't been together long Smile.

Tranquilitybaby · 08/01/2015 20:52

We've told our close friends and family (grandparents gave passed on the news to more distant family members on our behalf). Haven't done a fb announcement either, not my bag.

Mummyosborne1983 · 08/01/2015 21:14

Hi ladies!

Can I join you all?!
I'm expecting my second baby on the 29th June.
I have a 16month old little boy who will be 22months when baby arrives.
I'm married and from Cheshire, I'm an ex teacher... Currently a full time Mummy.
Do you all just communicate on here or has someone set up a Facebook group as well? I saw a previous post about adding each other so just wanted to see as with my little boy we created a private Facebook group and we still talk now... It's lovely!!
Hope to get to know you all on this lovely journey Smile xx

comeagainforbigfudge · 08/01/2015 21:22

Has anyone got/thinking about getting a tommee tippee perfect prep?

Been looking at them today and reading amazon reviews. Thinking I will probably get one but wonder if anyone has RL experiences with it?

Thanks
