Elizabeth, i'm hoping for a girl aswell, but with all these boys thinking it will def be blue again for us on monday!

Tranquilitybaby · 07/01/2015 23:10

Oh oh nobody mess with jazzy's stats!! Grin

Wow huge difference then! Maybe some of the yellows are pink to even things up a bit.

jazzyjenbo · 07/01/2015 23:15

Lol tranquility... I really dont mean to come across as a psycho! I'm not honest (whilst rocking in the corner!!) lol
I just love seeing everyones progress, i think its after missing out last time.

Tranquilitybaby · 07/01/2015 23:23

Lol I know, it did make me chuckle! "Don't mess with the stats"

We're very grateful you're doing them, I wouldn't have a clue, have always hated a Excel.

pasbeaucoupdegendarme · 07/01/2015 23:28

I am excited to be team yellow and really hope baby doesn't wave its bits at the camera at my scan!! Although dd has said from day one that "It must be a girl sister, not a boy sister." so I was half thinking of finding out so we can prepare her if it's not. But older siblings have survived disappointment for thousands of years so I'm sure we'll survive. The prevalence of the Baby Jesus in conversation over recent weeks has swayed her that a boy "manger baby" will be ok. We have started referring to this one as "the manger baby" as it was lacking a nn! Yesterday she told me the manger baby was in my tummy with the hay Grin

I am getting some fairly uncomfortable braxton hicks at times which I'm unimpressed about. But in the morning I wake without the BH sensation but it's literally like I've swallowed a lump of concrete, my uterus is rock hard. Never had that last time, is it normal?!

we are leaning team blue - congrats to the new reveals! I find out in a week :) Feeling a bit anxious coming up to it that everything will be fine. Agree Jazzy is a saint for doing the stats :) elizabeth it might make a difference what size you were - I know they asked me what size I was at birth in one appointment. What worries me far more is that while I have a tiny head (and am not a big person full stop) DH has a huge head....

bubalou · 08/01/2015 05:12

I am almost certain mines a girl.

Everybody else is also certain. Not guessing apparently - they just know.

Also when pg with DS I had so many dreams he was a girl I was certain. This time round I've had so many dreams it's a boy I'm therefore even surer it's a girl.

Not long now!!! 12 days and counting til I know!

Smile
FructoseTart · 08/01/2015 06:35

Mine will most probably be a girl knowing my luck. Have wanted a boy with all 3 pregnancies previously but always been a girl

Aconda · 08/01/2015 07:06

Sorry jazzy- it was me that messed with your stats :( As someone who has a spreadsheet for EVERYTHING (finances, holiday planning, training for runs, christmas) can totally understand your panic. I'll steer clear from clicking anything in future! Sorry to add to your work.

jazzyjenbo · 08/01/2015 07:38

Lol aconda, nevermind... I'm sure i can let u off....Over it now... It can be edited in that new rows and updating info can be added but just not clicking the filters and re ordering as the 2 lists mix up and as some are may and june dates they all scramble.

I'm shattered this morning, dd and ds both had unsettled nights sleep, that added to the fact i only seem to sleep for about 2 hrs before waking is driving me nuts.

No chance of an early night tonight either as i sing in a choir and its practice tonight until 9:30.

ots · 08/01/2015 08:22

Morning all. Not been around much last few days as getting closer to moving day and I'm spending all my time packing :)

Well done Jazzy for the stats, they look great. Thanks for doing them for us, I wouldn't have the first clue where to start!

I'm feeling happy today as I can drink tea again! My friend recommended the m&s decaf ones and she bought me a box yesterday. So yay to guilt free tea.

Yay to lots of gender reveals, so many boys! Our scan is the 19th (2 days after we move!). Can't wait to find out. My gut feeling is girl but DH is sure its another boy. Exciting :)

SpodoKomodo · 08/01/2015 08:22

I'm another one hoping for a girl. I have a DD (2) already and boys seem so different, which I know is a ridiculous thing to say. It's purely fear of unknown.

Having said that I'm pretty damn sure I AM having a boy, based on nothing but old wives tales of course.

fortywinx · 08/01/2015 08:40

I originally hoped slightly more for a girl before I got pregnant, but I am now completely convinced I'm having a boy, to the degree that we have settled on a name for a boy but not a girl!

I'm now slightly worried that if it turns out to be a girl I'll be mildly disappointed as I've got it so far into my head that it's a boy XD

I dreamt I had twin girls last night (there's definitely only one in there the sonographer assured me at 12 weeks)!

comeagainforbigfudge · 08/01/2015 09:40

Morning

How is everyone sleeping? I had such a rotten sleep last night. Lots of bump twinges and was tossing n turning a bit. Kept semi waking up to support bump when turning. And bump is really not big but I felt I needed to support it. If that makes sense?

Contemplating if it's time to invest in a special pillow. Or devise my own with the many spare pillows I have anyone else having uncomfy sleep issues yet?

Also going to ikea later. Do I or do I not get a hot dog, that is the question! Grin

bubalou · 08/01/2015 09:49

Hey comeagain

Another one here with sleep struggles. I am usually a great sleeper and not even an earthquake will wake me.

I'm also feeling the need for a support pillow so might pop to Argos later and get one. Don't think I can hold out much longer.

Defo go for the hotdog Smile

Thelovecats · 08/01/2015 09:54

pasbeaucoup I get that every morning as I did with previous pregnancies, so, totally normal!
I was 8lb3oz born, and my kids were 8lb 6oz and 7lb15 oz so maybe there is some relevance? Baby size bears little relation to your birth experience though- it makes more difference what position they're in.
I'm still not sure I'm feeling movements. Sometimes I think I do but not sure. It's bothering me now and I worry about it a lot because I'm comparing to previous pregnancies. 17 weeks today...

cuphat · 08/01/2015 10:10

Luckily DD is too young to have a preference. She just really wants us to have a baby so she'll be happy with her brother. She adores her boy cousins. I always wanted a girl, and as I've got her I would have been genuinely happy with either this time. I'm happy that I'll have one of each as people will be less likely to compare them. Also, I call DD my special girl and I can carry on doing this when baby arrives, as he'll be our special boy (we would have to be more careful saying things like this if it was another girl).

I was 6lb 7oz at birth and my DD was 9lb 10oz - and that was a week before my due date!!! My husband's height was definitely responsible for that! DH has a big head and DD's was on the 99th percentile so massive! I measured average throughout pregnancy too! I dread to think what she'd have been if i'd had a natural birth and gone over by two weeks! I'm already bigger this time...

I'm sleeping ok at the moment, though I am waking up earlier than usual. I woke up at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep. DD woke up at 8am - not fair. I have a couple of special pillows from last time but haven't got them out yet. They take up a lot of room in the bed, plus I like to turn over regularly and they make it difficult to do that without waking properly.

Tranquilitybaby · 08/01/2015 10:31

Yep skintags are a pregnancy thing sunbathing, v annoying indeed. No need to see a doctor

Morning ladies!

jazzy you are an excellent stats keeper, I will leave you to carry on your fab work!

sun good luck with the viewing today! And yes skin tags totally normal, don't worry.

elizabeth I was 7lb 8 and my dd was 7lb 14 and she was 8 days late, so not sure if that related to anything or not!

I have cracked out my pregnancy pillow, it's a god send Ive been having trouble sleeping the last week or so and since having that back I've slept all night! Hooray

Think I'm having another girl, just because my dh is destined to be surrounded by women I think!! Grin

JennyOfOldstones · 08/01/2015 11:24

I have a normal pillow wedged under my bump at night but so far it has ended up mostly on the floor. Helps me to drop off though.

Phryn · 08/01/2015 11:36

Bad sleep - yes - lots of tossing and turning the last few nights. Not helped by the fact our student neighbours have returned from the holidays and have been celebrating their return to uni at sodding 3am

DH and I have joked about our head sizes. When in the Alps he once had to go to three different countries to find a snow boarding helmet than fitted, and I can rarely find women's hats big enough for me. This was a funny shared joke that is suddenly seeming a lot less funny as the babies head will need an exit strategy! Shock

Aconda · 08/01/2015 12:10

Sunbathing - yes to skin tags here!
