New thread because the last one was giving me "Sorry, this thread is too big to accept new messages".
Onilly - sorry, yes I am sure it's due date - see here - "the Regulations apply to women expecting their babies on or after 1 April 2007.... If an employee's 'expected week of child-birth' falls before 1 April 2007 the old rules will apply."

Eva - next time, just shout "stop it"!

I use the phrase "shut up" all the time!!! DS tells me off though, for "swearing"

muppetisacat · 08/11/2006 16:26

Eva - you poor thing - just read up on what happened. I really hope those girls get some sort of punishment. They should also be made to write you a letter of apology, as should their parents! It will be interesting to see how your school handles things when you go back in...

Have to add that my mum was a teacher all her life until she took early retirement. The last 7 or 8 years became unbearable for her and she constantly complained that teaching had changed beyond belief. I think at one point out of 8 teachers at her school, 3 were on anti-depressants and one was off sick for most of the time. Not an easy job! All teachers have my respect just for bothering to turn up to work everyday and try to teach!

22+4

i'm in a real state today yet again. got 2 emails sitting in my email account from dp that i can't bring myself to look at. i've got a feeling they are going to say something awful. i'm going to try and read them later but just feel myself going downhill at the moment and worried they will make me worse ?!!

doctor has put me back on my ADs...

Shall we have a new thread while this one is still less than 1000 posts so we can put a link on the the new one?

Rainbowgirl, if you decide to read them come back here straight away and talk to us ok?

harktheheraldfoxessing · 08/11/2006 17:45

Rainbow - go on have a look, it'll put you out of your misery and may not be as bad as you think.

How soon do you reply when he writes?

It might be an idea to let him stew for a few days before replying (taste of own medicine/play it cool etc).

You've got more control than I would have in the circimstances
