Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 17th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Totally depends on location Zyla. Childminders here are about 35-40 pounds a day although probably charge extra if you go outwith regular times. Nurseries are maybe £40 ish, probably £4-5 per hour. You can get cheaper council run ones but the waiting lists are huge (they are as good if not better than private ones). People I know who use a nursery full time pay about £800 per month.

Will head over to mobile site to check out Zyla's nursery and La's tiny bump.

Fleurchamp · 08/12/2014 16:47

Blimey. I just did a google of nursery fees in my area for 3 days per week (my current plan). £646 per calendar month.
Yikes. That's a mortgage!

willywallace · 08/12/2014 16:57

Extortionate isn't it Fleur?

Zyla those stickers are lovely. It's quite hard to find a good sized tree I found when we were looking. Most were teeny. Yours is taller than ours.

La I should send a photo of my bump to shock you! That looks like a lovely little mini bump.

My bump is sore and MiniWil is determined to kick, elbow, headbutt and lie on it. Can't wait for her to learn the art of sitting still.

ZylaB · 08/12/2014 17:05

Thanks for the info guys. I think I would probably have to pay extra to be able to drop her off at 7am and possibly pay for 3 days instead of 2.5. This would all mean if I worked I'd end up with a little bit of money left over at the end of each month, but I don't think it'd be enough to make me want to. So I'll see if I want to go back or not.

Thanks again! :)

willywallace · 08/12/2014 17:20

I decided it would be soul destroying to work so many hours for so little cash. It depends if taking time off would impact long-term on your career though. Here you would have no difficulties getting a half day but the 7am start may be harder to get.

willywallace · 08/12/2014 17:21

Also, I don't know what your maternity package is but sometimes you have to pay money back if you don't return to work (not statutory pay obviously).

laurenamium · 08/12/2014 17:26

Hey viroids Smile I'm having a boy! He's fine, wriggly and took ages getting measurements as he wouldn't sit still. But healthy and there and measuring fine! Grin

willywallace · 08/12/2014 17:31

Brilliant news Lauren! Congratulations!

Leela5 · 08/12/2014 17:44

Awww Lauren that's lovely! You must feel so relieved. Hooray!!!

Indigoblue2 · 08/12/2014 17:44

Congrats lauren!! You already have a DD right?

Someone give me some reassurance... I'm 5 weeks on Friday (technically) but only 15dpo. I'm scared about doing stuff. Scared on the loo, scared if I cough or sneeze, scared that I might strain it and squeeze it out. Somebody tell me this is fucking irrational please with maybe a little bit of science about how deeply it's imbedded or something?!

ZylaB · 08/12/2014 17:46

Oooh I migt need to check that wil. I don't think my mat package is amazing so I probably won't have to, but I'll give them a ring.

Congrats lauren :)

ZylaB · 08/12/2014 17:48

indigo don't worry! (If it helps make you feel more normal, I'm 27+3 and I still check the toilet paper after wiping to make sure there's no blood!!)

laurenamium · 08/12/2014 17:53

I'm a toilet paper checker too indigo Grin and I was worried when I had a cough recently that I would cough it out Grin I think it's a normal worry but its totally unfounded :) xx

laurenamium · 08/12/2014 17:53

Argh sorry for the kisses Blush I've sent so many texts!

Leela5 · 08/12/2014 18:04

Indigo welcome to the madness!

Crotch watch
CM scrutiny
Boob squeezing (subtly or unsubtly)
Pumping, burping
Too much poo coming out, or no poo coming out
Insomnia at random times of night, exhaustion at random times of day
Smelling vomit or salt n vinegar on trains that normally you swear you can't smell
Peeing on millions of sticks 'just to be sure'

It's amazing! Enjoy being pregnant, we will hold your hand and tell you it's all completely normal Grin

willywallace · 08/12/2014 18:15

Normal yet completely irrational. You will not squeeze out your baby Grin .

Indigoblue2 · 08/12/2014 18:17

Thanks ladies! There's something disturbing about coughing and noticing how much your insides tense when you do it. Then extrapolating that into "therefore the muscle in my uterus is also contracting" and deciding that it's totally hostile and your bean is now somewhere in your vagina Blush

This sounds like a joke, but I'm actually really worried. Even pissing makes me notice how tense my insides go!

Glad to know nobody had sneezed there's out though!

Fleurchamp · 08/12/2014 18:24

indigo I am totally with you. Paranoia has ramped to an all new level.

Last week I was moaning that I had no symptoms. This week I am moaning because I feel so sick.

I check loo paper, give my boobs a squeeze first thing to "check" and panic after sneezing Confused

From reading other Freds it sounds like it doesn't go away until the baby has been born Shock

RPopz · 08/12/2014 18:27

We are the boob gropers crotch watchers anonymous Wink I think it will probably get better when some symptoms kick in indigo.

Good list La! I'm smelling shit everywhere at the minute... Apparently this pregnancy will end how it began! Hmm

Yay for team blue Lauren Smile One of each!

Leela5 · 08/12/2014 18:43

I'm still scared of pooing in case it falls out

Indigoblue2 · 08/12/2014 18:43

popz I've now got some symptoms! Weird twinges and cramps and definitely sore boobs. Sore/tender to squeeze and feel a bit bruised. Sore when I go down the stairs. They're pretty little knockers too so I'm not used to boob pain!

fleur glad to know you and the other viroids are equally paranoid. I've stopped temping incase a random drop send me into the funny farm!!

Indigoblue2 · 08/12/2014 18:45

la poo paranoia and constipation are a match made in hell.. Shock

freshstart4us · 08/12/2014 18:45

Oops - very late to the party, crazy busy today!

Name: freshstart4us
Age: 40
DCs: DD just turned 3, currently cooking a brilliant beetroot on my new dd of 6 June. LOL

indigo yep, totally normal paranoias. Just know you are in VERY good company!

Zyla our nursery was £56 a day when she was under 2, £52 from 2 to 3, now down to £48 post-3; upside is they are open 7.30am to 6.15pm, and can do earlier drop offs if you pre-book. This is very, very reasonable for Greater London. Some of my NCT friends pay £1200 a month for their fulltime place! And you pay whether or not they go, even if excluded due to illness. It's a good business to be in. sigh

So - scan today was great, apparently I'm 13+5, new due date of 6 June instead of 17th! I don't think this is right personally, as I don't think we DTD anywhere near the date for me to be a week further on, and it's based on length, and both DH and I are tall and DD was very long. Will prob be corrected at 20 week I expect, I think something like that happened last time too. Then again, I look much more like 14 weeks than 12, so it could be right. Xmas Grin

So DH posted the scan pic on FB and now the whole world knows. I think I've said it before, the man would never have been a spy. LOL

rm00054 · 08/12/2014 18:47

Quick question. Can I drink Lucozade?? I've had a quick Google but found nothing conclusive from reputable sources, so what's the official JSing grads opinion?
I'm getting really fed up with the constant exhaustion and I need some extra help if I'm going to make it to Christmas Sad

JuniDD · 08/12/2014 18:57

la your list for early pg madness is v similar to my life ATM! Always forgetting which aide she's had so have to assess manually! Wink
