Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 17th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

wil I am currently absorbing the Royal Variety Show! I'm enjoying all the toned man flesh :p

TheBooMonster · 08/12/2014 22:09

I think it's the baby brain wil!

willywallace · 08/12/2014 22:12

Ah i only watched it for ten minutes before eastenders came on. Clearly didn't watch the right bit as saw no naked man flesh Angry .

DulcetMoans · 08/12/2014 22:36

Popping head in so I don't fall off the Fred completely. Have read back and caught up but laying in bed waiting for sleep so can't dedicate the time to a massive update in case I fall asleep during it! Here's a summary:

  • whoever said about the app that compared them to a dinner plate - what is that one? I don't want to be fruit, I want more static sizes! If I do get an app that sounds like the one for me!
  • McBusted and McFly were both a bit kiddy I think but McBusted were older boys. All poo though! I love your nursery zyla*, success a good job. I want to sleep there! welcome indigo, all those feelings are exactly what we have all been saying in our time here - me and la* still have the odd wobble. My last was yesterday even as didn't feel ill enough.

Called GP today about referral, told me to call community midwife, they said it had been referred to sure start centre (due to where I live) and they had a deadline of Christmas Eve to get back to me as they deal with priority cases first. I let it go at the time but now I'm thinking what's priority?! Is two MC not high priority?! I'll be 12 weeks on Christmas day - when can I get a scan in if they won't even book me in by Christmas Eve?!

TheBooMonster · 08/12/2014 22:59

dulcet it's called babybuddy, it's quite new i think, saw it advertised on one of the mums net forums a month or so back, you can set goals like remembering to take vitamins every day for 30 days or swapping a fizzy drink for a glass o water for a week or whatever and every time you reach a goal you can chose a new piece of clothing for your avatar. you can put all your appointments on there and you can set a list of questions to ask at your appointment and it will pop up to remind you to ask them. There's also the going to be the facility to keep a bump diary (though I don't know if that option's up and running yet)

freshstart4us · 08/12/2014 23:51

God no, is it 10 years since McFly were fresh young things??!? Crap I am OLD....when I first came to London McFly were definitely credible. I used to like their stuff, but never got into Busted.

DD's name for bump is "Stream". No idea where she got it from, she assigns random words as names for her toys and it just happened to be one she had learned the first day I mentioned that I was pg I think. Showed her the scan pic tonight, and then showed her HER scan pic to compare, which she thought was quite cool. She's gonna be an awesome big sister. ignore the blushes of the proudest mum in the world

TheBooMonster · 08/12/2014 23:54

Busted split in 2005, I think McFly had been touring on old material since 2008? We're all getting old!

Minion · 09/12/2014 04:08

Mcbusted makes me want a Mcflurry, damn subliminal advertising.
Ummm, im due tomorrow girls.
Im freaking due tomorrow
Whatever happens I'll be a mum in 2 weeks!
Holy cow. How did that happen? I know sod all.
Holy
Sodding
Cow!

Awake as is my want at 4am..Joy. I've seen this time far too much lately.
I thought something may have been happening as I had one almighty cramp earlier... No I over pooed!
Waiting Game sucks

TheBooMonster · 09/12/2014 06:25

My back hurts so much I want to kill people and neither paracetamol or a hot water bottle is fixing it... Someone knock me out please?!

TheBooMonster · 09/12/2014 06:26

min you will be fine, we only made 1 antenatal appointment before dd came ahead of schedule and she's (mostly) ok :p

willywallace · 09/12/2014 06:37

Hahaha Min, you have reached the next stage of worry! Called 'What the fuck do I do with this screaming wriggling creature?'. You will be fab. Most of it comes naturally believe it or not. And for everything else, there's Google.

Dulcet that is seriously shite. Utterly ridiculous and unfair. I'm annoyed on your behalf.

Your dd sounds like a bit of a hippy Fresh!

Yuck, getting up time 15 minutes ago.

willywallace · 09/12/2014 06:38

Boo look up some pg yoga online and do some stretches.

Leela5 · 09/12/2014 06:50

Double post!

laurenamium · 09/12/2014 07:14

Glad your scan went well fresh Grin hope yours was too mini!

I didn't get on much yesterday so just catching up! Whoever asked about lucozade, I have a glucose test in jan and I have to take 2 big bottles of the stuff so I'm guessing its okay now and then?

I'm jealous of those doing nurseries! this one wont have his own room until July when we move...I do need to change DDs room around a bit though so that can keep me busy Grin

Fleurchamp · 09/12/2014 07:38

Morning all. I am actually up and dressed! Hurrah!

McBusted- I think I am a bit old for them, they have passed me by.

Regarding going back to work- in my figures DH "pays" half the nursery fees and therefore it does make sense for me to return to work. Does everyone else deduct all the fees from their pay? Doesn't seem fair?

willywallace · 09/12/2014 08:36

Well we don't use childcare but I just think of it as how much extra money would be coming in altogether and whether it's worth the effort. If I had a career type job which I enjoyed then I think there are benefits to going back to work other than financial ones.

minimooo · 09/12/2014 08:54

Morning! Didn't get chance to update yesterday because it was all a bit full on with families etc. but scan went really well, everything looks fine and we're having a little girl! Grin so happy and excited to start planning nursery and looking at prams and stuff now!
I do have go back for another scan at 32 weeks because my placenta is a bit low, but I understand that most of the time it resolves itself and moves, so not too worried.

So glad your scans went well lauren and fresh! Smile

Sorry, I can't remember who asked about lucozade, but I drank it a few times in first trim for energy. I think it's ok as long as you're not drinking bucket loads!

min so exciting! Hope you're doing ok Smile

laurenamium · 09/12/2014 09:09

Amazing news mini Grin glad everything's fine!

Leela5 · 09/12/2014 09:11

Brilliant news mini! A little girl Smile

lildottie · 09/12/2014 09:21

exciting mini!! and you get an extra scan! yay!

dulcet that's frustrating! time for some ass kicking perhaps? this is karma for your not wanting to book anything you realise!

splodge77 · 09/12/2014 09:29

Congrats scan buddies, great news that it all went well. I drank a ton of orange lucozade in first trimester - helped me with sickness & exhaustion.

teejayem · 09/12/2014 09:33

Yay! How exciting mini!

I second the weird dreams. Woke up this morning exhausted after being chased by dinosaurs in Jurassic park all night....

willywallace · 09/12/2014 09:34

Ooh Popz, all these girls. Do you think this means we're having boys to even the score?

Congratulations Mini!
