Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 17th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Oh wow Zyla it looks amazing! Can't wait to get started on mine now! DP is meeting the plasterer tomorrow as I'm off to London for a few days so hopefully we'll get a decent quote so we can started ASAP Xmas Grin

ZylaB · 08/12/2014 11:06

Yeah, I've been twitching waiting for the paint to dry so I could put up the transfer thingies. Took me two afternoons and an evening, but I'm really pleased with it. Keep bringing my cuppa in here as an excuse to come in and sit for a while, which is why I need my comfy chair.

(Sorry..mothercare are going to get the full force of pregnancy rage soon if they've messed it up again. We ordered the chair online, only for it not to turn up on the day we chose for delivery! Rang them and they said we shouldn't have been able to order it, it's out of stock, due in about 16th December. Ok, so I'll wait. The thing is, the website then changed to say due in 25th December Hmm, but available to preorder and is now back to saying out of stock again. That had better mean they're getting SOME in, and one of them is mine!!)

I'm late!
Name: Cymraes/Cym
Age:29
DC's: 5 yr old, 3 yr old, 22 month old and 13+2 weeks pregnant

Currently at home, on sofa with duvet, I must be better by tomorrow its the school christmas concert ( and I'm a shepheard with the nursery children)

Good luck all scan people!

TheBooMonster · 08/12/2014 11:26

zyla the nursery is fabulous!! I almost want to turn the 3rd bedroom junk tardis from hell into a nursery now just so I can make it pretty! It's magnolia in there after a small lilac disaster so we'd have a nice blank canvas to work with... where did you get the wall stickers from?

RPopz · 08/12/2014 11:28

Mothercare online and their customer service are fucking appalling (scuse my language). They messed us around for weeks. Complain complaint complain... on every forum available to you. That's what I did... got a chunk of my money back in the end.

ZylaB · 08/12/2014 11:41

boo the stickers were from a seller called wallartdesign on etsy. They came from America but we're well wrapped in a tube :)

RPopz · 08/12/2014 11:44

Get the chair and your money back Smile

Haha wil exactly, a small cantaloupe mine is...last week a mango. Lmao at the cucumber though. Is your baby very long and thin then pis?!

Pisghetti · 08/12/2014 12:17

Could be could. Might explain why my bump has shrunk but my waist has disappeared today! It's not just any cucumber - it's an English hothouse cucumber (google tells me this is a regular cucumber - lots of results were American mums bemused by the comparison).

La I owe you an apology. I've been experiencing.... a fairly sluggish digestion just recently and had a traumatic trip to the loo earlier. It really isn't a laughing matter - I thought I might have actually broken something Confused

laurenamium · 08/12/2014 13:50

I'm finding out flavour if I can popz Grin

ChatEnOeuf · 08/12/2014 14:43

That's fabulous, Zyla. I'm jealous. In rented house here so can't do anything we're not prepared to undo (and probably pay for as well) so this poor mite has plain white walls and a couple of pictures up. And is sharing with the linen baskets. But the one saving grace is that my rocking chair is in there complete with gliding stool. Win some, hey Wink

Leela5 · 08/12/2014 15:02

Good luck to all the people having scans!!!

I had a poo!!! I felt amazing for about an hour, then I had lunch and swelled up again. Sat here with my skirt cutting me in half. Surely it's not normal to be showing so much already? I look about 15 weeks not 8!

Also need a big pump. That might explain it

Leela5 · 08/12/2014 15:14

Zyla that nursery is beautiful!!

Here's a pic of my ridiculous 8 week bloat belly

ZylaB · 08/12/2014 15:16

Thats a nice bloat la it looks like a baby's in there, my bloat belly just made me look fat(ter)!!

RPopz · 08/12/2014 15:23

Oh La you're teeny! You're going to be like me - thinking you're showing from about 2 months in but in reality noone else notices til 25 weeks!

OP posts:
Fleurchamp · 08/12/2014 15:27

la I end the day like that. Start out flat (well ish, I would never call my pre pg stomach flat) and end up bloated.

I must pump loads in the night Confused

Sea sickness bands currently doing the trick but it may also be the biscuits and cake that is helping

Leela5 · 08/12/2014 15:33

Note I'm holding my boobs up as I'd taken my bra off!!! Ha ha saggy boobs

Leela5 · 08/12/2014 15:33

Glad bands are working fleur!

ZylaB · 08/12/2014 15:35

Can I ask those of you who know, cow I have no idea.... How much would a childminder/nursery be for 2.5 days a week, I'm talking 7am to about 5.45pm for the 2 full days and 7 am till about 1pm for the other day.

I sent my matb1 form to work and did say on it I'd be returning after 52 weeks, and I would like to leave the option open so I can decide when she's actually here, but it'd be nice to know wher wed stand financially if I went back, or if I didnt.

Thank you! :)

splodge77 · 08/12/2014 16:00

depends where you are Zyla. I'm in london so prob more expensive.
my childminder for DS was 6 pounds an hour but I don't think she would have agreed to do a half day as she would struggle to fill the other half of that day with another mindee if you see what I mean. But I'm sure you could find someone flexible who'd be up for that.

Indigoblue2 · 08/12/2014 16:19

zyla up with us you are looking at about £50 per day I think!

couldbeanyone · 08/12/2014 16:33

Zyla, our nursery was I think £38 per full day (8-6) and you could pay an extra few ££ for 7.30-8. A half day was roughly half that depending on whether morning or afternoon session (and hence with lunch or tea - lunch being hot cooked so more expensive). This was one of the cheaper nurseries with prices ranging from £38-45 per day. Bear in mind most nurseries do not open at 7am. Hope that helps.

couldbeanyone · 08/12/2014 16:35

Meant to add childcare vouchers do bring the cost down somewhat!
