Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 17th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Did they manage not to maul you this time La?

Pisghetti · 17/12/2014 22:58

I just get the short back and sides rather than a Hollywood style wax. It isn't too bad really - depends on the waxer though. I have to hold onto my bump to keep the skin taut.

The Eisberg isn't great. It's weird, I had one pre preggo (bought for a pregnant friend) which was ok and I've tried one of each (red and white) more recently and found them very unpleasant Confused

TheBooMonster · 17/12/2014 23:10

oh Sad not so rave reviews for Ersberg then, guess I'll stick to mulled wine!

I think I can deal with shocking... is it less awful than threading eyebrows? I cry when the lady threads my eyebrows...

Nessalina · 18/12/2014 05:53

In the middle of the niiiiight, I'm up feeding my baybeee with bloody Billy Joel in my head Grin

J seems a lot better Smile Still scaly, but not trying to scratch as much, which is fab!

So what'll get to to the finishing line first - Min's pregnancy or this thread??

willywallace · 18/12/2014 06:14

I meant to say where is Min? Think she's maybe in labour? We probably need a new thread, anyone on pc with time to kill?

Leela5 · 18/12/2014 06:36

Rudely awakened in the night by turning over and realising my cat must've weed on my pillow. Aaaaah!

He only does it when stressed and it's not happened for ages :(

I smell wee everywhere

Pis it was a nice tidy up, nothing too drastic! It hurt a wee bit but as long as you stretch the skin it's fine

laurenamium · 18/12/2014 07:12

Bleurgh at cat wee on the pillow la! Why is he stressed? Sad

I'm so ready for a Christmas break. I'm also really missing exercise, I miss riding and I want to go to exercise classes Confused but I've spent too long being ill up to now to suddenly go back I think!

DulcetMoans · 18/12/2014 07:28

On the pillow la! Shock That is just mean! Hope he's ok.

MIN! PUSH! If it's an appropriate time.

Glad J is feeling better ness, hope the chemist stuff can fix him properly soon.

Any other non-alcohol alcohol I might be able to get away with at the grist as do today??

Slept awful, been up a few hours thinking about work and being angry. I hate that! Must let things go!

Pisghetti · 18/12/2014 07:32

Ewwww! Poor you La!

Yes Lauren Christmas can't come soon enough! I'm working through so my first day off is Christmas Eve. I suppose the exercise class depends on what it is? Lots of places do classes specifically targeted at pregnant women - might be worth checking out what's available locally. I'm thinking of starting to swim. I'm a bit rubbish but I can't do most of what I used to do thanks to stupid hurty pelvis and feel I need to do something!

Leela5 · 18/12/2014 07:55

Lauren I know how you feel - riding and looking after horse kept me fit. Without it I'm feeling blobby and crap but as I don't normally do aerobics the dr said I couldn't start exercise in first trim. I'm signed up for lazy daisy and pregnancy yoga from next term hopefully.

Our local swimming just shut for refurbishment too so that's out.

I've got a heavy womble today, it's making my back hurt. I'm so over work, just want Christmas now.

Poor cat - he only does it if he's stressed. Dh locked him in earlier in tues so it must have been then. Can't get mad as it's not really his fault :(

Minion · 18/12/2014 07:59

Eeeeh I don't know, you get a good nights kip for once and not wake up at the arse end of 2am and everyone thinks I've pushed her out.
No
Still here
Did manage to bump some uglies last night in vain hope of kick starting something. Unfortunately the kick start was to a sore foof! 'twas very uncomfy.
Apparently the trick is to have LOTS of sex.
Thought one may do, clearly not.
OWWWWWWW the thought of waxing foofage makes my toes curl. Had my shins done once, that was enough for me. Don't have a particularly high pain threshold (god help me if I ever manage to give birth)!

Fleurchamp · 18/12/2014 08:06

I bet that was a rude awakening la

I feel very sluggish too. I used to go to yoga twice a week, swimming, jogging and walking. Now I barely move from the sofa.

Hoping to get back into the swing of things over Christmas.

What are lazy daisy classes?

Fx for you min

laurenamium · 18/12/2014 08:09

Unfortunately there's no pregnancy classes local to me at all I already spent a whole day looking and calling people Hmm I'm on a waiting list at the leisure centre in case they start an aqua natal class...I'm also terrible at swimming and would feel guilty going without DD, she loves swimming and I don't take her anywhere near enough, but I can't swim if I take her Confused I think ill start taking her more though. Feeling weightless in water might help just on its own! I'm also going to start eating back very healthily. I've been pigging out a bit and I don't think that's helping!

How many days over are you now min?

TheBooMonster · 18/12/2014 08:16

min my pain threshold is through the floor complete with a bit of chronic pain syndrome I have to get that special cream to numb my inner elbow before I let anyone near me with needles when I give blood else I cry like a baby! Labour was fun to say the least, this time I know what to expect so I'm hoping it'll be easier, especially with all of the woo I'm giving a go! Also More pineapples and sex and bouncing and curry, though perhaps not all at once... would be awkward if things got mixed up...

on la not such a nice wake up, poor stressed kitty!

dulcet I tend to go with Virgin Mary's, I add so much tabasco and Worcester sauce in that no one would dare try it to work out if it was alcoholic...

Minion · 18/12/2014 08:16

8 according to the scan dates, however if you go by dates of contraband, 1.

laurenamium · 18/12/2014 08:43

Ooooh exciting min! How long do they let you go over for where you are? They told me at first it wouldn't be any longer than 7 days before induction with this one before they knew about the PAPP A. It's a new policy though as they let me go 14 days over with DD!

Indigoblue2 · 18/12/2014 08:46

min surely the contraband dates are more correct? If you know exactly when you iced then she hasn't been growing for as long as they think?

RPopz · 18/12/2014 08:46

Interesting Min ... so not really that overdue at all as I bet your dates are more accurate than the scan ones! I bet it won't be long now... Apparently the prostaglandins work just as well orally if sore foof is your problem.... (And you want to give MrMin and early crimbo present Hmm )

Yuk La! Sad Not what a preggo needs of a morning! Hope puss is ok.
What's up at work Dulce?

Lazy Daisy is a hypnobirthing and gentle exercise class fleur. Loved it x

OP posts:
Pisghetti · 18/12/2014 08:47

So you may not be very overdue at all then Min? Do you want to start the next Fred? Glad you got a good night's sleep in!

Can you get that cream over the counter Boo? I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to needles. I have had piercings and tattoos (not that you'd necessarily know to look at me) done without any fuss but a nursey looking lady with a needle brings me out in a cold sweat

willywallace · 18/12/2014 08:50

Sorry Min, my fault. I don't think foof waxing is that sore. It's over v quickly.

So stressed out today, need to get a grip.

TheBooMonster · 18/12/2014 09:15

I honestly don't know pis the blood folk used to have to have it on standby as an alternative to the local injection they can offer to wimps and they'd make a big song and dance about how much of a bloody pain it is to have to cream me and wait but I've not been since I fell with DD, so that was February 2012.

Minion · 18/12/2014 09:18

I have always thought my dates were correct, after all I couldn't produce the LH if I wasn't OV'ing surely? So in my heart I'm only a day over, but seeing as though they wouldn't budge on changing dates, my head says it's the big 8.

Weirdly it doesn't feel like she is even remotely ready. I know some people get no signs of labour at all before drop day, but I've always been quite in tune with my body and somehow thought 'I'd just know'
Ha!

It's a reet head fuck though, part of you says 'no stay in there, it's warm, cosy and I can look after you properly' and the other half gets a bit mad and says 'why don't you want to meet me? Am I that awful?'
I know this is completely irrational, but it's in the back of mind lately.

And I know dr goofle is a bad bad entity, but I cannot help but google induction stuff. Apparently 22% of inductions lead to EMCS. I'd rather just be booked in for a nice genteel relaxed ELCS and know everyone's head is in the right space etc.
I won't be able to have a water birth if I iget put on the drip. However if the gel/press arises work, then I can. What she told me the other day was that they can effectively wait 24 hours after gel to do drip, so I have to stay in hospital all that time.

I don't mind how she gets here, just that's she and I come out of it the right way, and the longer this goes on, the more I stress myself out.

Sorry for the whine and whinges.

I don't mind doing the Fred, can't guarantee I'll have an amazing title though haha.

ChatEnOeuf · 18/12/2014 09:39

Go for it, Min - I'm supposed to be wrapping presents so have turned the computer off. Try not to Google. Lots of labours that start off normally end up as emergency sections too, I think it's only a fraction higher with induction. You can wander around, go to the coffee shop etc. - you're not tied to labour ward once they've done their monitoring thing. My friend has the gel and started labouring straight away. Took it out and got in the pool, normal birth soon after - the baby clearly just needed the green light to start coming!

Don't think you can get magic cream OTC, Pis, but it's worth asking. I know we send our patient's parents to get it to save time (mummy puts it on, half an hour later, come for your bloods - saves a lot of waiting in the hospital) It is readily prescribed by most GPs too. Emla or Ametop are the two brand names :)

JuniDD · 18/12/2014 10:01

Good luck min. Always worth discussing how you're feeling with your midwife or the team when you go in for induction.

Hope you're ok wil.

Baby has her jabs today. Not looking forward to the after effects but not too stressed after all the needles she had stuck in her during her first week.

Fleurchamp · 18/12/2014 10:06

Is Lazy Daisy the same as the daisy foundation?

Sorry I am feeling so stupid today :-(
