Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 17th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Finally caught up, I'm rubbish at this!
Had my scan yesterday! All is well. I'm a bit shocked as I had talked myself into believing the worst! Now I feel as I did when I had just got my bfp! DH is mega excited now too, he can't wait to tell everyone at Christmas!
They put me 3 days ahead of were I was from dates, so due date is now 25th June. Apparently bean is 6cm long! Last I checked my app it was only the size of a lime, how did it get so big?!

Glad everyone else's scans went well.
FX you see some movement soon Min

Indigoblue2 · 17/12/2014 14:54

Brilliant news rm!!! Way to go bean!

DulcetMoans · 17/12/2014 15:04

All the happy scans! I want one!

Great news rm!

Viroids - answer my bubbly uterus question!

Indigoblue2 · 17/12/2014 15:06

No idea dulcet! Need some of the further along viroids to answer Smile

willywallace · 17/12/2014 15:14

Well the only thing I can really think of is that it's flutters - like early baby movements but that's quite early to feel movement in a "first" pregnancy, although i suppose it isn't really a first pg. I definitely felt them before my first scan this time though so it could be.

teejayem · 17/12/2014 15:36

thanks indigo -really glad you're okay too. I think I lulled myself into a false sense of 2nd trim security, It's just a horrid gap between last seeing baby and then feeling them! I am 16 weeks tomorrow, I need to pull myself together.

Fuck me, 4 months preggo. That's scary!

And yes, I've had silly whooomb ache the whole time. At first before BFP I was convinced I was going to get af, then it ached all one side for the first few weeks, (then convinced it was ectopic) and even now I get cramps. I would say that good digestion helps! My no-poo situation I think aggravated them somewhat. So moral of story is eat your prunes and quaff the evian! :) xx

laurenamium · 17/12/2014 16:22

I'm pleased for those that have had great scans this week Grin

Morning exciting to report here but I'm following the thread!

TheBooMonster · 17/12/2014 16:32

dulcet not sure how far along you are, any chance it's the beginnings of feeling movements? DD used to feel like a fish in a bag initially which i suppose was a bit bubbly

ChatEnOeuf · 17/12/2014 16:33

Dulcet I can only think of first movements - though it's early - they do feel just like that Grin

Fabulous scan news Indigo, La, Zyla and RM! Busy day.

Poor scratchy J - hope the cream starts to settle it soon.

You know, we're chatting more than the undergrads - wonder who is responsible for that!

Our computer has always been the family computer. DD has a Leappad - not my doing! - but she enjoys it in moderation. I agree with La, allowing kids to think they deserve everything they want instills completely the wrong work ethic and general attitude in life. It's normal in toddlers...I'm pretty sure it should be our job to fix it before adulthood.

Chat cat update - no UTI, vet thinks she's in good health but getting old. Wondered if her eyesight was getting a bit dicky - left the light on for her and no pee on the floor this morning...won't speak too soon, but here's hoping it's that simple!

We went to a wondrous place today. A chocolate house factory shop! Wonderfully heavily discounted proper Belgian chocolate...mmmm...and you can taste everything! So we also called in at a strange cross between Hobbycraft and takeaway van's supplier to buy some shiny boxes and ribbons and shit - DD and I will be making chocolate gift boxes for presents this evening :)

RPopz · 17/12/2014 16:52

Movement Dulce? They feel a bit bubbly/ windy at first x

Are you feeling any better indigo? Fevery/ dizzy/ crampy could be so many things. Glad the little bean is looking ok Smile x

hi all. don't get me started on kids being spoiled at Xmas. my mum has always gibr mad with loads if pressies ubderctree but my half brothers get proper spoiled. own xboxes, own PCs, own tablets. they are both getting new PCs this year and will gave about 40 presents each. I agree lots of pressies is good/fun, but we had owns, clothes, clocks, CDs, socks, pants stuff like that.

good news on all the scans. la hope you can start to relax a bit more now you're past that first hurdle.

indigo hope you don't get that again, his scary! excellent that its got you a free 8wk scan tho! lucky thing!

ness poor J. hope the cream works fast and you get some more sleep soon!

I'm starving but dh not hungry so doesn't want me to cook tea yet. so bloody annoying!

ZylaB · 17/12/2014 17:40

indigo glad the scan was good!

chat chocolate boxes sound lovely :)

Leela5 · 17/12/2014 18:23

Loving the Christmas present and chocolate descriptions! I'm starting to feel Christmassy. Just bought myself some dermologica products as a wee treat when I had my fanjo waxed.

Remember when I said I was worried I didn't feel sick?

Remember when you all said it would come back and I'd be wishing it went again?

Oh my god. I feel like I'm going to chunder with every step I take and my usual tactic of eating isn't working! I'm burping constantly so figure it's only time now until I'm actually sick.

Anyone else fed up with work? I've got 3 days to go....!

Dulcet I don't know about bubbles, I get little twinges?

ZylaB · 17/12/2014 18:34

dulcet bubbles sound like first movements? :)

la Grats on the sickness! Grin

Fleurchamp · 17/12/2014 18:48

Ha la I am the same. Dashed out of the office on the dot of 5 as I just couldn't sit there any longer feeling sick.

I have the most potent wind Shock luckily DH is away with work.

I finish work on 23rd, so 4 more days. I really need the break. I am so tired, I keep making silly mistakes Sad

couldbeanyone · 17/12/2014 19:32

Finish work tomorrow GrinGrinGrin

Have grown out of my bras bought end sept, now desperately going through those I had for last pregnancy to see what fits. Current choice fits but gives me a bit of a mono boob look Confused love my usual moulded t shirt bras not these awful maternity ones! Really can't bear to buy more if I can help it though.

DulcetMoans · 17/12/2014 19:35

2 days for me and Christmas do tomorrow so off at 12! Although haven't planned how I get around the drinking thing...

Isn't it a bit early for movement? 11 weeks tomorrow. It's just like bubbling fluttering. I did a quick google but inconclusive! Cramp at the mo though - dehydrated!

Vom fass on the chocolate shop chat, the thought of that smell turns my stomach. Glad the cat could be fixed, mines done a wee on the floor though so maybe it's catching!

Cook dinner lil, he can bloody warm it up!

willywallace · 17/12/2014 19:51

People feel it at all different stages Dulcet. I definitely had it by then this time. Can't think of anything else it sounds like.

Shut up all you people finishing work this week. Envy Although think I may have got away with not doing the week between christmas and new year, fx.

Maternity bras suck Could. I'm using ones from last time and they totally don't fit, so uncomfy.

I don't really think it's that bad for a teen to have a telly in their room. Saying that, we don't have one in ours so I also don't think it's a necessity. Parents are crazy about computer access. I know of 5 and 6 year olds who have been found watching porn because they're left alone with computers which have no safety filters. I definitely plan to have computers only used in family areas rule.

RPopz · 17/12/2014 20:03

Hehe, La! ... congratulations/ commisserations on the sickyness Smile
I guess it is early Dulce but if its definitely not wind then... Wink

Leela5 · 17/12/2014 21:06

Pisghetti · 17/12/2014 21:50

I got mine done at the weekend - all nice and neat for Santa Grin

Nursery ceiling sanded, all traces of paper bagged up and carpet cleaned. Almost looks nice in there again! DP is totally getting the job of doing the woodwork now I've done that. Plasterer starts tomorrow. Can't wait to get it done now so we can paint it in the New Year when it's dry! It'll also give us somewhere to put the incredible amount of stuff this baby has already collected Hmm I was going to go with the tree and animal stickers but saw some cherry blossom ones and I am in love with cherry blossom so might go for that now.....

Getting close to the end of the Fred already Shock

TheBooMonster · 17/12/2014 21:54

I think I finally got that nesting thing kicking in! I've rearranged supervised the rearranging of the living room ready for the tree to (finally) go up and inventoried all the clothing that exists in my house and PiL's house from prem to 6 months, all the rest of the clothing has been sorted buy not inventoried. Too exhausted to move now though, but I unearthed the teeny tiny Ugg boots so it's all worth while!

la and indigo how much does foof waxing hurt?

la love and cherish the sickness (and hope it goes before 20 weeks)

has anyone tried the Eisberg (alcohol free) wine? I found it in morrison's and want to know if it's worth giving a whirl...

RPopz · 17/12/2014 21:56

I've not tried it myself but a fellow preggo tells me the white is nice, but the red's not too cracking.

Foof waxing is more shocking than painful I think, iyswim?
