Kyz i noticed that we are dd buddies, i'll get on pc before bed and update! Without looking now have we got any scans tomorrow?... Loving seeing these little babas!

purplebiro · 13/11/2014 22:30

Hiya - is it OK to add me to the stats then?

I'm 33 - first baby - 11 weeks today and due date 4th June 2015 - that's based on an early scan - got my dates mixed up and got scanned at 9 weeks so may change when I have my official 12 week scan on 24/11. Got my anomaly scan already booked for 21.1.

Really sorry to hear your sad news guy. Hope you recover quickly and are pregnant again soon if that is what you want.

Purple - not much sex here either and I have gone off proper kissing with tongues (makes me feel sick at the moment!). Seem to remember feeling quite randy a bit later in pg but feel a bit sorry for DH at the moment. Think he probably thinks I am being a bit pathetic. I normally cook dinner in the week as I get in from work first but am having to ask him to come a bit earlier whenever we are cooking fish as the thought of it is horrible! I feel even more like I am putting it on because I am able to eat it when he has cooked it!

Perpetual I am getting very emotional too. Sounds like you have good reason to be though. I had a big cry at the Sainsburys advert that was doing the rounds on Facebook yesterday. Daren't watch the JL one everyone is going on about!

Elizabeth sounds like you are have a lot going on too. An sure your Mum would be so happy to know you were having a baby.

Ooh what horrible weather we're having today (well down here in the south east we are anyway!). DS doesn't have nursery on fridays so we have been snuggling up with Netflix and chocolate today!

We've had some good news re. our housing situation. Our landlord has a cottage for rent in a small town about 10 minutes away. He says it's only small, but has 2 bedrooms and a garden, and to be honest, we don't really have the option of being fussy at the moment! It will be available just after Christmas, so will be so nice to be settled in time for sorting out schools for DS, and long before the baby is due. Just hope it's not too small! If we find out we are having twins we may be a bit screwed!! But feeling so much more positive about the future now Grin

Hope you're all ok, sorry I can't scroll back and name check x

Good news about the house, ots.

It's beautiful here today; I've just got back from a three hour walk (including hills and a pushchair - I think I might regret it later!).

Less than a week till my scan now!

Jackiebrambles · 14/11/2014 13:12

Afternoon all!

My sicky feeling is back, currently stuffing my face to stave it off!

Really jealous of those of you with scans coming up! I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow so I've got ages to wait still!

Looking forward to seeing the scan pics Grin

I think I might tell my boss next week. We've got team drinks twice next week and people are going to be wondering about me not drinking so I kind of want to be open about it. Hmmm.

ChatEnOeuf · 14/11/2014 13:22

Hi everyone, scan went well, little 8+3 bean - EDD 23/6/15 and if I wasn't anaemic this morning, I sure am now!

Great news about the house, Otz

Hope the nausea is settling, Tori (I won't tell you about my first pregnancy...) Wink

MrsExtraOrdinary · 14/11/2014 13:26

Ots is it bexhill? I've got a few friends with young families who live there and they are really happily settled there. Thanks So glad your landlord is a good egg!

bubalou · 14/11/2014 13:29

Hi all,

11 weeks here today and scan is on Wednesday.

Have absolutely no idea how some of you ladies have been patient enough to wait this long. I never could have waited without the private 8 week scan. I'm just too impatient! Grin

Looking forward to seeing a proper baby this time and not just a circle.

Hope all of you are ok. My arm is still bruised - Haha! For those of you that have seen the facebook photo - will post another photo update tomorrow. Wink Not really. I'm not that bad!

Worried a little this morning as I woke up with slight pulled muscle type pain on my right side. I worked out that I think I did it last night - dtd. Blush Haha

It was worth it though. Wink

Pleased to hear your scan went well chat

MrsE no it's Battle. Got a really good secondary school, and the primary school and 2 local nurseries have all had an Outstanding result at their latest Ofsted. I love Bexhill too, although the main road between Bexhill and Hastings means it would take DH years to get to work!

bubalou · 14/11/2014 14:16

Oh yeah sunbathing!!!! Blush I forgot about the neck. However like you said it got me my BFP!

I think the lesson I need to learn from all this is maybe to stretch before sex from now on!!! Wink

That will be attractive for DH. Me doing lunges in the bedroom. Haha

bubalou · 14/11/2014 14:17

Posted too soon.

Sunbathing - not long now!!!

Make sure you book some other stuff in to do between now and then or the time will drag - trust me. Smile

Crikey, just caught up on a lot there!

Guy - my sympathies to you. X

Had my booking appt this morning. Nice midwife. Didn't pass out at bloods being taken, so all good. Have to go back shortly as they want to give me the flu jab.

Ooo, it's getting exciting with the scans. I'm hoping I have mine before an event in December so I can tell a few people.

Hope people are having an okay Fri afternoon. Smile

AnythingNotEverything · 14/11/2014 15:04

Great news ots and Chat.

So tempted by a private scan. About 9 weeks now, and it'll be at least another week until I get my appointment for my12 week scan. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
