hello, fiona born 12.30 friday lunchtime. at 9 ish called drs and got an appointment for a sweep at 11.30. by 9.30 had called dh home from work. at 10.30 realised it was pretty close and needed chilcare for ds. got to hospital at 11.15 having sorted ds out at a friends house. was fully dilated on arrival, got going on the gas and air and out she came!!
she@s lovely, ds is v chuffed with the scooter and tool kit she arrived with, but thinks her name is max. sorry am typing one handed so cannot cut n paste to update the list, or do caps!! good luck to those still waiting - try notto stress i think it no coincidence that fiona arrived as my mum was flying back from south america - think i wanted my mum in the same continent before producing baby. oh and my waters did n't break til well into pushing, so that might not be the first sign.

Well done and congratulations KATGOD. Sounds like a very straight forward labour and birth. Enjoy her she sounds fabulous. Funny how older siblings love thier new baby brother/sisters gift they come with isnt it?

Just a quick post to let you know after a rather swift labour - first pain at 10pm wednesday, arrived at hospital 3am, Anna was born on thursday morning at 9.19am. 7lb 9oz, and she is crying so will post more later.
