puppythedog · 10/10/2014 07:00

I'm genuinely moved by the kind words and support on here and on Facebook. It 's not felt like just us in this since the start. Thanks for sharing our experience with us, sorry I'm a bit post heavy, I blame having an iPhone. You need to use it for SOMETHING, to make it worth the money Wink

ohthegoats · 10/10/2014 07:21

Wow, bloody hell stigz! Congratulations!

And mrs crumble. Seb is on our possible names list too.

binkybunny · 10/10/2014 07:24

Good luck to all water broken/ contracting/ induction mummies (and daddy)

Hoping mrsb is ok as we've not heard from her!

puppythedog · 10/10/2014 07:55

She got through to them and has had advice and they think it likely to be today.

Lulu298 · 10/10/2014 08:12

Congratulations punky, stigz, ldt and mrscrumble!

Can't wait to hear your birth stories. Am not due for another two weeks so this all seems a bit surreal!

queenasanti3 · 10/10/2014 08:18

Hi everyone I announced the birth of my baby boy the other day, but I would just like to fill you in on the whole birth story.
I had increased back pain over 3 days, then on day 2 I had period pain like cramps that over the day became more intense, contractions being 25 mins apart, I woke on the 3 rd day to a show around 5am, which continued throughout the day, also as the day went on my contractions increased to every 10 mins, as I was busy looking after my 1 year I became distracted from the pain until she went asleep at 7:30pm, then as my body relaxed the pain was every 5 mins, after taking a bath the pain was constant, on arriving to the hospital at 10:30 pm I was told I was 5 cms, i had dome diamorphine, she told me at 12am I was 7cm and not long after I just remembered her telling me to push, and at 1:55am by baby boy was born weighing 7lb 8oz labour recorded in my notes at 2 hours 30 mins Smile couldn't of asked for a better birth, we named him Zayden x

queenasanti3 · 10/10/2014 08:21

Sorry mistype at 12:55am I gave birth Smile x

Kittylou1 · 10/10/2014 08:30

queenasanti3 · 10/10/2014 08:35

Sorry because my post was so long I forgot to congratulate all those who have had their bundles of joy and also wishing all those waiting good luck x

puppythedog · 10/10/2014 08:36

Wahoo Queen Grin

FrauEnglischLehrerin · 10/10/2014 08:41

Congratulations punky, ldt, crumble and stigz (have I missed anyone?)

Some lovely birth stories as well! I'm also hoping for some success with natal hypnotherapy and/or distraction (no gas and air available here).

Sending labour vibes to those of you being induced and those overdue.

binkybunny · 10/10/2014 09:00

Thanks for sharing queen, lovely birth story!

ohthegoats · 10/10/2014 09:09

At this rate I'm hoping for some success with dynamite.

Off for my first monitoring session at the assessment unit. Kid is going nuts though, and as of yesterday my blood pressure was low, wee all fine etc etc blah blah.. so hopefully things will be nice and quick. If only because I don't want to pay a tenner for parking!

magichandles · 10/10/2014 09:16

Definitely busy - no room on the labour ward for me to go in for induction this morning so I need to call back at 1 this afternoon. I was really keyed up and ready, so have had a little cry about it, and now need to keep myself occupied this morning without wearing myself out!

Lily31 · 10/10/2014 10:06

Congratulations stigz! That seems to have happened very quickly. Hope you are ok?

Congrats crumble. The only sebastian I know happens to be the loveliest man in the world. Smile

Hope mum2 is ok?

Good luck the puppies.

Fingers crossed for later magic.

What a positive experience queen, thanks for sharing.

goats - hope you only need to pay a few quid and things are ok.

I feel like you LuLu, I think they'll only be a couple of us left in a weeks time! I still have at least 2 weeks to go, if not 4 depending on this lo's diary.

Time to waddle around the shops -my to do list keeps growing.

Missus2ndwife · 10/10/2014 10:07

Congrats to Stigz and Queen! You go to sleep, wake up and more babies are born. Amazing ladies, well done.
