Sorry missed your post RustyZilla! Lovely pic, I did that with ds2 I think a litre for some people is a lot. Water always goes straight through me!

Here is my little wriggler!
The circle at left is the yolk sac and the baby is just over 3cm from head to bottom. Awww Smile

OVER HERE!!! Due April 2015

Loving the scan pics Rusty and Hippo. Excited to see all our wriggly beans Grin

I have had a major mild panic this afternoon. Got a letter from hospital with an appointment with the doctor in the antenatal clinic next week. Nearly had a heart attack! I wasn't expecting anything until the appointment with the midwife in a couple of weeks; all I could think was the nt tests, but the nt measurements were normal so it must be something in the blood tests, that's not compatible with life. Cue lots of searching MN, absolute panic reading of books and leaflets. Nothing.

Called the midwife; turns out it's the anaesthetist. I've got a problem with my back and they want to see me in case I need an epidural. Panic over.

DH will be kind but think I'm slightly bonkers, but I know you ladies will understand. And just in case anyone has anything similar, she assured me if anything came up on the nt results, they would call not just send an appointment.

MissV84 · 26/09/2014 16:32

Such relief - wriggling baby all looking alive and well on screen! 13 + 2 so due 2nd April... And even though it's a normal nhs 12 week scan she said she was 70% sure it's a girl! So thrilled - feel slightly less sick! Congrats all other scan holders xxxx

Nunkie · 26/09/2014 17:09

Great scan pics, everyone :0D And I'm really glad you have been reassured, banana.

cinnamon, I wasn't concentrating properly (because I was flustered and full of wee) but I believe it was one scan pic for £5, or three for £10. That's Surrey prices for you! ;0) I basically just threw all the money I had at them and practically ran to the waiting room in a cold sweat, so my memory probably isn't the most reliable :0)

daholster · 26/09/2014 18:12

Lovely to read all your posts, and banana I'm so pleased you got a good news scan! You must be so relieved!

Am beginning to get nervous about mine again, I have a whole week left yet!

nunkie ours are a fiver and we are in Surrey too! We must all obviously be very rich to have such a postcode... Hmm

Lauren82000 · 26/09/2014 18:42

Had a really relaxed day at work and then come home and have a tantrum queen on my hands. She has screamed at us and tried to hit me between being cheeky and answering back to us. Where has my little angel gone? To top it off my throat still hurts, my back is killing me and I just moved DDs little table and walked into the doorframe with it in front if me so bumped my tum. Sad wasn't hard but now I'm paranoid. Can't wait for her to go to bed.

River that sounds so stressful, glad it's nothing serious to worry about!

Great news with everyone's scans!

AnniaFausta · 26/09/2014 19:52

daholster and Nunkie, my scan pic was £5, and we're not in Surrey... not just you!

Banana, great news!

Sorry you got home to a grumpy DD, Lauren - hope she sleeps it off.

Phoned up my midwife to move my 16 week appt to match what the sonographer measured me as. Quite exciting really - all the medical professionals I speak to keep on saying congratulations, which is lovely given that hardly anybody else knows yet!

Lindalove · 26/09/2014 19:58

Congrats on all the scans!

Am celebrating getting to 13 weeks by having a small glass of low alcohol wine with my Friday pizza! Feels good to be able to have the occasional treat now :)

Told my dad yesterday and grandma today . Granny was confused by scan pic to start with ( well her eyesights not much cop) and thought I'd bought a new cat!

mamabear0315 · 26/09/2014 20:32

Hello everyone,
those are some beautiful scan pics! wish i could see my little bean again..but since I had an early scan at 9 weeks, they said i don't need another one until the anatomy scan at approx 18-20 weeks :( which i find odd since all you guys with early scans still managed to get a 12 week scan..hmm. although i have to admit something...im all the way in Canada! (so that could be why)..lol must have been the pregnancy brain but when i first joined the group i didn't notice everyones in the UK lol but im enjoying talking to you girls and hearing about your experiences so i hope you dont mind if i stay! Blush not gonna lie you guys seem much more supportive of one another than the forums Ive seen around here lol.
Anyways..finally not throwing up! 3 days in a row now :D but do have a huuuge sinus headache to replace it..This morning i could litterally see the heartbeat or the placenta not sure which it was bumping up and down in my lower stomach!! it was amazing :) think its easy to see as i am quite petite..was 110lbs before getting pregnant..now down to 105 :( but at least i can eat again and lots lol so hopefully that changes fast!

Chococroc · 26/09/2014 21:15

Had my clinic appointment yesterday (being seen fortnightly due to pre existing condition). Had a very brief scan for reassurance. Have my 'proper' dating scan next week, can't wait! Getting impatient about telling people, but waited this long so will hold on a little longer.
Scan photos here are £4 according to the poster I saw.

Siarie · 27/09/2014 08:45

I've got the same sinus headache but nausea has eased. Still throwing up at times though! Good to see its not just me with the sinus pain so it must be normal.

Great to see scans from all the ladies ahead of us. I'm probably one of the most behind as I am due 29/30th April.

9+2 today

BananaToast · 27/09/2014 10:51

Siarie sorry you're having such a hard time of it. I'm not that far ahead of you, 10+0 today (finally made double digits and a quarter of the way through already!)

So glad I had my scan yesterday as I've woken up to another red bleed this morning. Wish my body would sort itself out, really fed with it all! It's no worse than the bleeds I had two weeks ago so I'm assuming it's nothing sinister, but still a bit unsettling.

LadyNovember · 27/09/2014 13:57

Is everyone waiting til 12 weeks to tell the world, or just until they have a scan? Even though I'm only 11 weeks tomorrow, we've almost finished telling everyone..I thought there wasnt much difference risk-wise seeing as we seen a lovely strong heartbeat last week.

BananaToast · 27/09/2014 14:56

We've told immediate family but that's it so far. Nearly told a friend today but figure we don't have long to wait now so will keep quiet until after the scan.

AnniaFausta · 27/09/2014 15:07

Lady, I'm waiting until 12 weeks to tell anybody beyond our parents (and obviously everyone on here!). At 12 weeks we'll tell immediate family, and then see how we feel about filtering the news out from there. The only other people I've told are medical professionals (for obvious reasons) and the administrator at work, who has sportingly agreed not to know until I formally tell HR but is now watching me like a hawk and reminding me to eat breakfast ;)

daholster · 27/09/2014 15:09

I feel so poorly Sad Sore throat, headache, temp with shivers and a cough that wakes me every time before I'm even fully asleep and almost instantly makes me retch. Thought my banana was returning but thankfully not... When I'm coughing drinking doesn't seem to help, food is the only thing I can try. I ache all over... Worried it's becoming proper flu, ugh. Why this week when I'm on my own?!

minipie · 27/09/2014 16:24

lovely scan pics everyone!

Sorry quite a few people are ill... I have a cold (courtesy of DD as usual) but the nausea has gone so overall I feel better. hope these nasty viruses disappear soon, take it easy everyone.

Lady I told close family and couple of close friends before 12 weeks, and my immediate boss, but wanted to get the all clear on the screening tests at 12 weeks before telling anyone else. Now I'm past those tests I've told colleagues and whichever friends I've bumped into - haven't done a big announcement just going to tell people as we see them.

cinnamongreyhound · 27/09/2014 16:37

Of course you can stay mamabear0315!

Lovely news MissV84!

Hope your dd is in a better mood today Lauren82000.

Hope it disappears quickly BananaToast, your little bean likes to worry you!!

I'm already 12 weeks LadyNovember but not telling anyone apart from close family and a couple of friends until my scan Wednesday.

Get well soon daholster!!

I apologised to dh today for being rubbish and he said 'don't worry you're pregnant and trying to do a tough job at the same time'. He's lovely but doesn't always say the right thing and I thought that was a lovely thing to say. He's been looking after me well.

Lauren82000 · 27/09/2014 17:40

Daholster that was me this morning I felt terrible and I was dizzy too even after I ate. Forced myself to get up though and after some paracetamol started feeling more human. Managed to be pretty busy today but now I've finally sat down again it's starting to creep back on me. Ill top myself up with pills in a min but I'm trying to battle on without as much as possible.

There's not been much rhyme or reason who I've told and who I haven't. Can't say I've been particularly excited about this one but that might be because we lost two in May and June before we got lucky again. It's like I'm just waiting for this to fail too even though I am well past the time I lost those two. (Yes I'm a pessimist) I've told parents and siblings half a dozen people at work and the MIL couldn't keep her gob shut so DHs grandma knows too. DD sort of knows but we haven't officially told her yet, she knows mummy was trying to grow a baby in her tummy, not that one had taken up residence already.

10+1

Lindalove · 27/09/2014 18:49

We've told all parents, close family & friends & will let it filter out to others. I'm not facebook ing it until 20 weeks I don't think though. Can't believe I won't know sex before then!

Husb has agreed to allow us to have a bathroom refit before baby comes to ensure we have a nice relaxing (mainly grown-up) room to soak & shower in. I'm prob actually not going to bother with the nursery ( currently husbands study) until after bubs is born as I think he/she will be in a basket in with us for first six months anyway. I also think husband might need his study as escape area more anyway (mine will be the new bathroom!)

Anyone else thinking of decorating etc?
