OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
GeekyHybrid · 21/08/2014 20:13

Hi things, don't worry about the house, due to the tiredness, organising the wedding and general slovenliness my house is a disgrace, dust you could write in everywhere!
We're off to the Azores for a week, all very lastminute.com but we figured it will be the last 'just the two of us' holiday for a while!

Memphisbelly · 21/08/2014 20:16

Geeky have a wonderful break!

Frenetic, nocecto hear you have some nice workmates! Nice that we have technology that we have now to share things, we had a 3d scan with a little dvd, we took it to dh's gran to play last time she was amazed! Will your mum come and help for a bit when baby arrives? I am having my mum at the birth but she is only 10 mins away so no doubt will be calling her most days for help

Bangonthedoor · 21/08/2014 20:17

Just caught up and I'm here! Grin

Cookie1831 · 21/08/2014 20:23

Thanks for the new thread, mine is baby no2 (not on list thanks for the stats!) not much exciting not sure if I am feeling movements or wind, I have a definite bump and boobs are huge feel like I am waddling already, 18 weeks to Christmas?? Yay I love it!

bellaboo88 · 21/08/2014 20:41

Hey guys, sorry I've been so quiet, finally caught up!

Thank you for new stat list, I'm not good with technical things, would anyone mind shifting me to 16th Feb?

I've been considering cloth nappies past few days, need a beginners guide...has anyone found any good links? Clueless! Xx

donkir · 21/08/2014 20:54

Consultant went as well as could be expected today. I have a few extra scans to measure cervix and might need a stitch. Also can't have baby in the nice new birthing unit as will have to have canular as soon as I go into labour and then injections after the birth to contract womb as placenta didn't come out last time and I needed blood transfusion. Roll on 40 weeks I'm really not feeling this pregnancy it's been nothing but worry.

Memphisbelly · 21/08/2014 21:00

Bella look up nappygurus.

Donkir oh what a shame about birthing unit but good you are being monitored so closely. I agree about not feeling it this pregnancy and roll on January.....I will not want to be celebrating xmas thats for sure

BanglesSpangles · 21/08/2014 21:09

geeky i can feel the next one throbbing under the surface! Happy honeymoon- have you started packing yet?

Cookie and bella- updates imminent!

GeekyHybrid · 21/08/2014 21:13

Thanks Bangles. I'll pack tomorrow, best check all trousers / shorts actually fasten before throwing into the case! Baggy t-shirts may be required Wink

BanglesSpangles · 21/08/2014 21:16

Hm. No wonder everyones been struggling to make changes to the spreadsheet- i couldnt even manage it myself! Finally did it, but i think ill need to tweak some settings before i get accused of being a spreadsheet hogger!

Memphisbelly · 21/08/2014 21:47

Bangles on the ante natal board with ds we had one tech savvy spread sheet lover, I think it must be the laws of mn that every board on here has a spreadsheet guru

freneticfox · 21/08/2014 21:51

Memphis - My Ma will be coming up to stay with us for a few days when I go into labour - she's joking that she's already got her bags packed!

BanglesSpangles · 21/08/2014 21:56

Ha- i dont feel so bad for being an admin hog now!

Bimberley · 22/08/2014 08:13

Happy honeymoon geeky!

bellaboo88 · 22/08/2014 09:12

Thanks bangles!

Cheers Memphis I'll check it out after work.

Have a fan time geeky!

I went shopping yesterday...no maternity in asda, matalan, topshop, dorothy perkins nor primark...all online it seems. Sil lent me tonnes but I'd like a few pretty tops & work trousers grr!! Xx

Memphisbelly · 22/08/2014 09:16

I have been up since my delivery came at 7am so I have been brousing Next online.....oh my goodness some of their baby clothes are amazing.....roll on Sunday I cannot wait to buy stuff!

Memphisbelly · 22/08/2014 09:23

Also is anyone elses boobs itch, mine itch constantly I now have what look like teeny tiny blood blisters over them as I have itched them so much.

BanglesSpangles · 22/08/2014 09:29

that's a bit rubbish bella

I'll swear blind i used to unwittingly wander into the maternity section of clothes shops all the time- bet now I need to look for them, they'll have all disappeared

memphis no boob itch for me, although i did make my arm go dead in the night because i slept on it for so long- was trying to prop up my belly fat

Bimberley · 22/08/2014 10:07

So ill today. Just ate breakfast then half an hour later got awful stomach cramps and could not stay of the toilet. No sweating and shaking trying to not be sick :( Really wish DH was here.

Bangonthedoor · 22/08/2014 10:43

Morning all Smile

Day off today so we've just got back from a little stroll to the bakery, got some yummy bits for lunch.

No itchy boobs for me but I do have an itchy back and belly, I think it's just the skin stretching isn't it? But I'm not sure about the red blisters you've got?

Looking forward to my midwife appointment on Tuesday, fingers crossed heartbeat can be heard! Im 16 weeks today and can't believe I've got to this point Grin

God memphis next baby clothes are amazing!! I try not to look Blush

Hope everyone has a nice day Smile

Memphisbelly · 22/08/2014 11:02

Bangon oooh local bakeryfor lunch goodies sounds delish!
The little blisters are just from me itching so much I look like I have nits on my boobs or something Wink
Ds had loads of Next baby grows cannot believe I sold them all....but more excuses to buy more I suppose, I will tske dh and mum with me shopping so won't just be me spending hopefully.

Going for lunch with a friend, used to go every few weeks but as I have been sickily not bothered.

BanglesSpangles · 22/08/2014 11:03

bimberly you poor thing- hope you're feeling better now

Only me and one other person in the office today- the temptation to do absolutely no work is far too strong! Isn't August grand

BanglesSpangles · 22/08/2014 11:04

(I have not been looking at ridiculous baby fancy dress costumes on notonthehighstreet. Oh no, that was definitely not me)

(but look! www.notonthehighstreet.com/timetodressup/product/baby-penguin-dress-up)

BanglesSpangles · 22/08/2014 11:04

Arse- that link didn't work- www.notonthehighstreet.com/timetodressup/product/baby-penguin-dress-up

BanglesSpangles · 22/08/2014 13:44

nobody's a fan of baby fancy dress then?! I love a vaguely ridiculous outfit- like when you see a toddler dressed as a vampire in tescos or something
