Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 10th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

There is a stats thread here but its a zombie thread so enter at your own risk....... eeeeek

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 26th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, Pm me!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

min I had wierd, crazy, vivid dreams in the beginning!

wil what time is your scan, I don't think there is anything wrong with measuring long they are just keeping an eye on it. If he gets to big I think they will want to do a c-section.

Dh is very happy, that we are having a big strong boy, he emphasis on big just to annoy me (grrrr)

pis I'm sure the wine will be fine, this early on, sorry to hear your ds is unwell.

I am off this am for my whooping cough jab, really hoping it won't kill my arm, amd then scan at 11.40.

Pretty much same time as yours Cookie. Hope your jab is ok.

Don't worry about wine Pis, least you noticed after 2 glasses and not two bottles!

Epic dream Min, I hardly ever remember mine. Must be a girl, we need some more girls on the thread.

I think its a girl, the husband thinks a boy. Just a week left to wait.
It won't surprise me if its a boy, as it hadnt moved much at all yesterday but as soon as the football was on, kicking like a hooligan!
Obviously fancied a lazy sunday.
Oooh, thought! Maybe it was kicking as it was overjoyed the world cup was over soon..it was near the end..
Clutching at straws?

What time is your scan wil?? Hope it goes well Smile

I got a sneak peek at popz baby this morning Grin. He's all well and good despite me not feeling at all pregnant this week!! Consultant says I have the longest cervix she's ever seen lol!!! But there's still some concern at the volume of tissue they biopsied, so will be getting measured again at the 20wk scan.

And now to work.... Angry

Get you and your lengthy cervix Smile

Must be good to have it confirmed that all is well and they're keeping an eye on you.

Glad you got to see mini-Popz.
Hope all good with wil and cookie.

I think your grumps have passed to me this week, rpopz. I could actually go and shout at a couple of my colleagues today. Only five weeks to go. Baby also very active today which is nice. Probably wear itself out and scare me tomorrow though!

Oh, my first stretchmarks appeared today, on my boobs. I am trying to not mind but I do a bit. Not sure why!

Ooh check you out with your prize specimen cervix! Is it bad for it to be long?

All fine here thankfully. Was inexplicably nervous before going in. They let us take the toddler in so MrWil could come and so the scan was super short. Everything seems so much quicker this time round. But saw both a baby and a heartbeat so good enough.

Are you using bio-oil or something Juni? Most stretchmarks disappear after pg so don't worry.

Report
RPopz · 14/07/2014 14:23

I had stretch marks from puberty juni- they do fade. I'm using cocoa butter religiously now I'm pg though to keep them at bay.

Glad the scan went well Wil - what's your due date?

Haha, doesn't sound like having a massive cervix should cause me any trouble Wink Wasn't quite sure what to say when she told me heh!

It definitely must be one of the strangest compliments you've ever had!
19th Jan so was only 1 day out, not too bad. Feel a bit flat after it all, weirdly.

Hello all!
Lol @ wine misunderstanding Pis - at least you got some guilt-free booze! Grin
Hurrah for your sexy cervix Rpopz! I didn't know they could be long... My biology knowledge is so bad.
Juni - sympathies on the stretch marks Confused My stomach is like a road map. It's just awful!! In fact, I may inflict a picture on you all!!!

Hello all, so my jab was a bit painful but my arm is mostly ok, the scan went well, he is still big but on the same line he has always been so not worried.

Glad yours went well wil

Yay I needed a nap and my boobs are super sore - symptoms!

I take it you meant for the sofa to go cookie ?

I can't think about stretch marks yet. I had so many last time. It felt so unfair - after giving birth I was lighter than I was at conception (constant nausea.....)

Glad the scans went well, Wil and cookie. :-)

The placenta hasn't taken over for you yet, Pisghetti, so the wine will be fine!

Slightly scared that I might be having my ELCS next week if the consultant agrees to bring it forwards...I'm not ready!!

Excellent news cookie and pis.

Knowing me it'll be two weeks after that popz. Have told family and sent a message to close friend but she is abroad and hasn't got it yet. Feels a bit funny second time round tbh, think I'll just tell people as I see them plus they'll know because I'm massively fat. Also I have to go to see the maternity psychiatrist because of my family history Envy . Don't know how I escaped that last time round. But I can definitely feel the baby moving around today so that's good. So much earlier than I felt MiniWil. I need a nickname for bump - suggestions?

HungryHorace · 14/07/2014 21:42

Kind of exciting. More scary...I'm really scared about the surgery after last time's EMCS. Though I'm sure it'll be fine!

My bump is called dino baby! :-)

Movement is great, isn't it? Until they're big enough to do damage!

RPopz · 14/07/2014 21:48

Sounds scary Wil - I got referred to a prenatal mental health service apparently but nothing ever came of it...

Exciting times Horace!!

Glad scans went well wil and cookie.
I felt a bit meh after my 12 week scan wil but after a couple of days I was like "there's a baby in there. It's real!" and started to get excited.

Thanks for the stretch mark sympathy. I guess they signify the start of a life-changing/body-changing experience and part of me still has my head in the sand about some of those!

Does the whooping cough jab hurt cookie? I'll be sorting that out in a couple of weeks.

Not much to report here really. Had my 3rd Lazy Daisy class last night which was fine. I wish the other women were a bit friendlier/less cliquey though. Oh well, at least most of my friends already have their babies for when I'm going through it! Maybe we'll make some friends at NCT. We are both introvert weirdos though so maybe it's just me!

I didn't make any friends at ante-natal with DS but I'm quite shy IRL! My French teacher was one of the other mothers there and I didn't even acknowledge her Blush (I was 20/21 - she wasn't my French teacher at the time ).

But I'm not as much of a wall-flower as I used to be and DP is a real social butterfly. I'm not too bad at getting in on conversations he starts so may have more success this time around!

That's exciting Horace! When will you find out?

Report
JuniDD · 15/07/2014 12:59

Tee hee to French teacher! When I was pulling into the car park I smiled at a couple of them through the windscreen and they just gave me Confused faces. They all talk to each other once we're in there.

I'm excited for you horace. Keep us posted if you can!

Still trying to think up a nickname for wil's bump...nano-wil? Wink
