Just Shagging Grads Thread 10 - Roll Up, Roll Up all you graduated Viroids!!!

cookielove · 13/07/2014 19:23

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 10th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

There is a stats thread here but its a zombie thread so enter at your own risk....... eeeeek

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 26th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, Pm me!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

Grin Ah she will fit right in with my lot!

I've rang the doctors and have to take a sample in. My car is broke until Thursday though so I'll have to get my taxi to take a detour on the way to the stables this afternoon Hmm

Perfect lauren, just packing up her bag and she'll be round shortly. Grin She's two and is about to have a tantrum when Daddy leaves for work.

Actually my mum is coming later which is good but also means I need to tidy up.

Think I need to go back on the Pregnacare to get more iron, can't be normal to be this tired.

Wil how old are they? Send them round they can play with DD (and the other 3 impending children) I'm a childminder so there's no such thing as too many on a weekday Grin

They do tend to be very Hmm when you tell then you know when you ovulated. I totally know when I did, which they ignored and went for AF date, then at dating scan I got moved forward, just like I knew I would! Grin

Juni, there's quite a nice guest post written by a doula in the 'mumsnet sponsored' threads.

Report
wilmabedrock · 17/08/2014 22:04

Probably not much difference as they'll end up giving you a different date altogether when they scan you and won't believe you when you tell them when you ovulated Grin .

Ah okay thanks wil Smile ill ring tomorrow and let them know I'm pregnant and go from there! There's only a week in it but I'm not sure how much that affects things really!

Report
wilmabedrock · 17/08/2014 21:24

They may want to give you an early dating scan to be sure but if you know when you ovulated and it was the normal time then I would think they'd just go with AF date. I would think the other bleed would just be caused by the removal of the coil?

I have contact lenses too. I now blame my mum for the lack of scarves in my face as a baby! Grin

Can anyone help me roughly work out how many weeks I am? I had AF starting 21st July- so 4 weeks ago tomorrow. But I didn't get my coil out until the week after (28th). I bled the day after just for the day. And ovulated as normal a few days after- so normally as if going from actual AF and not coil out bleed. So will MW use the AF date or the coil date do we think?

I've worn glasses since I was seven...will lay that one on my mum tomorrow (she's taking me to Waitrose, oh the excitement! She gets free drinks!)

I've got a couple of nice polyblend scarves, that'll do. Budget brain connections will do for us! Wink

Haha popz!

Well chiffon may be a new texture for them which will help 'make new connections in their brains', I shit you not. Am sure silk would work equally well Wink

Hehe, Mrjuni does get a bit eye-rolly with me cos I'm like "uh huh, uh huh nod nod nod" and then get home and think about things.

wil, does it have to be a chiffon scarf specifically? I'll add it to the shopping list. Wink BWAHA!!

I'm not a scientist and I still scoff at all the nonsense. It gets worse if you go to any baby classes and they start spouting crap about waving chiffon scarfs over baby's head being instrumental for their visual development. There were a few times I thought about asking them for references to back up their claims. Grin

ahaha popz. Try to keep your face still when they refer to endorphins as hormones instead of neurotransmitters. Or something. Wink Wink

Not sure the glass of wine was worth it... feeling hungover today lol.

Ooh Juni I'm a scientist too... hope I won't be poo poohing at my class Shock Glad it's helped tho Smile Can't wait to start my classes. xx

Hello! Hope everyone's afternoons are better than the mornings. Glad you had a good night, rpopz, can't be pregnancy puritans all the time! I seem to keep eating undercooked meat (duck, steak) but hey ho!

So, Lazy Daisy couples workshop today. Came at exactly the right time and MrJuni is feeling very positive that he is the best person to be my birth partner etc. Just got to keep this frame of mind. He's a scientist so scoffed a bit at some of the "science-y" bits but as I say, it's hardly the most important bit!

Going to get my feet up now and watch Mo Farah...

Jealous popz. I had wine in a casserole the other night and had the dodgiest stomach afterwards so I'm not risking having an actual glass!

Such sore cramps today :(
