OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I've been feeling like that for the last week or so Fancy but today my top tummy is smaller and my bottom tummy is bigger making one smaller, rounder bump! Much more comfortable!
Think I've felt a few movements too (it's first baby but I'm nearly 15 weeks is it possible?) like someone tickling me from the inside when I sit with my knees up.

Minibagel · 06/07/2014 18:44

I couldn't find you!

Set up another thread but we should delete that. Anyone know how?

RPopz · 06/07/2014 18:45

Fancy my belly has been feeling like someone is pumping it up with a bicycle pump all week! I feel permanently like I've just eaten a massive meal. Today its really aching, but like a muscular pain like I've been doing sit ups (I haven't!!).

fancyacupoftea · 06/07/2014 18:50

Glad I'm not alone. I've found that I'm constantly rubbing it too at the top because it's all sore and bloated.

KeepOnPloddingOn · 06/07/2014 18:55

Mini- click report and then request it to be removed as it's a duplicate :)

LulusMiniEgg · 06/07/2014 18:57

That is exactly how mine felt - feels so much better now! It was so tight. Hope this is a new more comfortable stage of bump! Haven't eaten as much fruit & veg as in the week so maybe that's a factor? Guess I'll find out tomorrow when I'm back on my salad for lunch x

Minibagel · 06/07/2014 19:14

Thanks keep

Saraswati · 06/07/2014 19:14

Totally with you on the sore tummy - I can't eat very much in one sitting and I don't know if this is because my stomach has shrunk due to sickness or squashing by baby! I have felt horrid today, really tired and nauseous, where's my glow eh?!

lulu I've felt fluttery turny type movements for a week now (I'm 15+2 today) at first I dismissed it as wind but it does it when I poke it! I've read it's possible even though it's DC 1. What I read said it's more likely if you're slim and quite 'in tune' with your body. My friend didn't feel anything until 20 weeks so I feel very lucky!

Minibagel · 06/07/2014 19:15

Talking of fruit and veg, today I had my 5 a day in one meal, I was so proud of myself for being up to shopping for the food then preparing it. I hope this is a corner I'm turning, as the lack of healthy foods is doing my nut (and butt) in.

13w today yay!

RPopz · 06/07/2014 19:18

I've been feeling sicky the past couple of days again too - no glow for me either!!

I'm always rubbing my tummy too... makes me feel very pregnant though haha!

Saraswati · 06/07/2014 19:24

Oh also chinese I have my 16 week appointment on 15th July, then 20 week scan on 13th ang and consultant appointment on 20th aug, so lots coming up! When is everyone else's scans?

j200 · 06/07/2014 19:38

My 16week is on 24th July and 20 week scan 20th august, counting down already Smile

Can't remember who asked about tougher pregnancy dvds/pilates but I just tried antenatal pilates- 10 minute solutions and it was brilliant, really a lot tougher than I expected and feel like I have had a proper workout. Bought Davina but that is more suitable for weeks 30+ I think

Ikkleme · 06/07/2014 19:57

Just looked at the last thread on the computer and can't believe how lucky you ladies with scans are! I have mine in 8 sleeps so excited to see a little human (hopefully) have any of you though about christening yet? I'm rc partner is Coe i was brought up as a practicing catholic even though I'm not practicing now I feel as though I want dc to be catholic and brought up in a church environment DP is pretty much atheist and doesn't want to christen dc at all... 11+4

Minibagel · 06/07/2014 20:04

Our 16w scan will be w/c 28th July (havent sorted a date yet) and 20w is 29th Aug (20+5) as we couldn't do the earlier date they offered and they were really busy.

ikkle we will christen this baby, we are both c of e non practising. It was a lovely simple occasion and we want our dcs to understand what the faith is so they can make an informed choice. They can always opt out, but its less likelt that they will opt in if they haven't been brought up with it, IMO.

Minibagel · 06/07/2014 20:05

Eek 8 days to go ikkle I hope it flies by for you

RPopz · 06/07/2014 20:06

Seeing conaultant and having my cervix measured on the 14th July... lol. 16 week app on 24th and then 20 week scan on 15th August Smile I've still never put my details on the stat sheet, I'm never on the laptop! x

Minibagel · 06/07/2014 20:08

Me neither Rpopz

Hopefully I will get around to it!

ChineseFireball · 06/07/2014 20:13

RPopz I have a consultant appointment on 11 July - I think to talk about my cervix! Don't know whether they will do dildocam then or make another appointment but I'll have to make sure I've Capability Brown-ed my feminine topiary and shaved my legs just in case.

I'm on the laptop just now. If you want to stick stats on here I'll put them on...

Ikkleme · 06/07/2014 20:15

Thanks mini! I had a scan at 8 weeks for cramping and there was something defo still in there I seem to he getting very podgy! Can't wait for July to be over and hopefully will have a little bumpkins lol

RPopz · 06/07/2014 20:29

Haha Chinese!! I'm having dildo cam when I go... and def need to do some pruning first. Its kinda been doing its own thing since I got upduffed... Hmm

Minibagel · 06/07/2014 20:38

Minibagel 31yrs East Midlands 11.01.15 DC2 boy 18months 1st scan: 16.06.14 (10w) 02.07.14 (12+3), 2nd scan: 29.08.14 (20+5)

Saraswati · 06/07/2014 21:08

j200 ooo thanks I actually ordered that today so glad to hear it's good! I also got the shiva rea pregnancy yoga DVD, I love her normal DVDs too.

Both atheists so no christening here! I'm resisting a baby shower too, I bloody hate them. I have decided to do a 'sip and see' which is when the baby is a few weeks old you invite everyone over for a glass of wine to wet the baby's head and bring presents if they want. Then you can see everyone in one go, it's only a couple of hours so not too overwhelming, and DH isn't excluded. I'll arrange it after the baby arrives depending on how we are recovering after the birth.

chunese lol at capability browning your foof! I'm going to steal that phrase ;)

Camsie30 · 06/07/2014 21:18

Hello new thread! Braved the Westfield today and got some fantastic maternity starter gear - jeans from Mamas and Papas, and a great white shirt reduced to £10. Two tops and leggings from Debenhams, a surprisingly good quality range from Red Herring. It was all a little bit overwhelming, and some of the clothes were just dreadful, but I can't wait for the next 2 weeks to pass until I tell work and everyone so that I can wear comfy jeans, rather than my too tight ones fastened with a hairband!! Mum and I got really excited looking at cots and nursery things, i still can't actually believe its happening!

Totally sympathise with sore tummy, I feel like i've done a hundred sit ups and all of my muscles hurt.

Exhausted and heading for a lovely shower and bed. Great to be on thread #6 with you all!

Ikkleme · 06/07/2014 21:20

I don't want a baby shower either! I hate attention and it seems to be a lot of attention even though it is for bump I don't think id enjoy it!
In quite a organised person and for being 11 weeks I've already picked out Moses basket, pram, few neutral outfits obvs not bought anything as don't want to jinx but I know what's out there!
I feel pretty prepared on what I need to buy I'm already looking at things for when the babies here... Like how long you can keep breast milk for and crazy things like that...
Think I may have issues, I'll be planning there 1st birthday before it comes at this rate lol

ChineseFireball · 06/07/2014 21:29

Righty-ho Minibagel I think I've added all your stats :)
