RPopz · 07/07/2014 19:18

I don't feel pregnant at all today... its freaking me out a bit Hmm

Starbright24 · 07/07/2014 19:37

I've had days like that rpopz but the feeling comes back usually when I'm chucking up. Hope you feel better about everything soon.
For my garden, I use a bikini trimmer. Keeps it nice and short and easy to use. I hope this will still be the case inffollowing months.
Good news about the scans :) congratz all

I need a bikini trimmer!!! Grin

I've had loads of days where I've felt not pg at all and then the ms has hit me like a sledgehammer. Try not to worry too much Rpopz

Starbright24 · 07/07/2014 20:59

Haha!! Grin
I meant the bikini trimmer was easy to use.

blizy · 07/07/2014 21:09

Keep, I will be thinking about you tomorrow. Thanks

KeepOnPloddingOn · 07/07/2014 21:24

Thanks blizy - and everyone else. I am having a last minute wobble this evening. Stupidly googling statistics and the like. I am feeling rather terrified now. Had anxiety all day and tbh I think I have been a bit in denial, the underlying anxiety is obviously because of tomorrow. I'm even debating wether to have the cvs now. I will make sure the consultant I see has done many and has done so for years- of not I am bolting!

Anyway! I have exhausted this topic. I really can't bare to think/ go over it all again. My apt is at 1030, off to slew now and will report back once I have been. Fingers x all goes ok.

Minibagel · 07/07/2014 21:44

Sleep well keep, may your lady garden always be easy to use :)

star I'm sorry for intentionally misreading your comment, let's blame my pg dirty mind...

Camsie30 · 07/07/2014 22:00

Try and get some sleep keepon we're all thinking of you and wishing you the very best for tomorrow morning x

mummyk8 · 08/07/2014 00:00

Good luck keepon

I'm wide awake and pooping myself about tomorrow. I had incompetent cervix at 22wks when expecting DS and had to have a stitch :( and tomorrow I'm having my first appointment at the hospital about my cervix this time around. So worried they will say they wan't to stitch them just incase. It's not the nicest procedure and has a risk of causing a miscarriage. Thank fully this appointment is at 10am so at least I don't have to wait all day.

ViviPru · 08/07/2014 04:03

Thinking of you today Keep and mummyk8. I hope the consultant is able to reassure you Keep and they manage to complete the procedure and it's not too distressing for you. mummyk8 here's hoping it's good news for you too.

It's 4am and I can't sleep. Stressing about work, my Mac is broken again after spending £600 last month on a new logic board. It's like sodding Triggers broom, the only original thing on it is the screen and now that's gone. Computer out of action is BAD NEWS for a freelance designer Sad. Hopefully the 'genius'es will have good news for me tomorrow.

Catching up on the thread has cheered me up though with chat of lady garden topiary and 'easy to use' in particular Grin

Loobyloo893 · 08/07/2014 06:34

Catching up with thread this morning had me in stitches. Who doesn't like having an easy to use lady gardenSmile

Good luck today keep and mummyk8. Hope all goes well for you both x

j200 · 08/07/2014 06:36

Thinking of you keepon and mummy,

Rpopz my healthy eating thread has already died a death. .. Prob better to keep each other motivated on here Smile

I'm so tired as didn't sleep either. Will get out of bed now to go for a walk before work....

j200 · 08/07/2014 06:38

Ps in the overgrown lady garden camp too.. Poor Dh has had no action since 14weeks ago Shock he won't be getting any either after my scare last week, maybe at 20weeks,...

14weeks today

Starbright24 · 08/07/2014 06:41

Good luck today keepon and mummyk8.

ChineseFireball · 08/07/2014 07:19

Good luck and hope it's not too scary today, keepon and mummyk8.

Another vote for the pubiegone/lady trimmer. I tidied things up last time at 40+5 because it was starting to tickle and I had a sweep booked the next day but then thought I'd jinxed it! went into labour at 41+1 and apologised to the delivery midwife because "the ladygarden was much neater on Wednesday". Blush

BF question about swapping boobs - I think someone already answered but yes - you start with one and your baby should come off naturally when s/he is done with that one; you then offer the other one.
There is a wonderful poster cakes Tiktok who is a bf guru and she hangs out in the "feed the world" topic on here. If you can tempt her she can answer all your bf questions Smile Also the kellymom website is fantastic for bf info. Truly fantastic. La Leche League is great as well. I personally think that if you want to bf it's important to identify sources of information, support and help in good time because it doesn't always go as you'd planned at first. Some people have no problems at all but others have difficulty. I don't want to scare anyone off - quite the opposite in fact - if you want to bf I think you should have as much support to do it as possible. I found the first few weeks hard because my nipples were really sore (LANSINOH!!!) and then because DS had silent reflux Sad

Hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday!

15+4

ChineseFireball · 08/07/2014 07:20

cakes? ffs *called! Grin

rumisyum · 08/07/2014 08:16

Thinking of you both, keep and mummyk8. Hope all goes well today for you both.

Loving the ladygarden maintenance chat. Grin I've been going swimming, so trying to keep at least the edges tidy as mine is rather, um, lush when left to its own tendencies & spills out everywhere. But I think it's growing faster than usual, which is making it a real pain to keep up with! As for keeping it in use... ha! DH confessed that he's a bit scared he might cause more bleeding, so cuddles will have to do for now I suppose.

Also loving the bf-ing tips. I got that La Leche League book & will check out some of these websites. Always be prepared, that's my girl scout motto. Wink

The funniest thing happened the other morning. I was lying in bed having a feel of my bump (as you do) and I noticed a funny lump just to the top/one side of my uterus. I called DH to have a feel & he wondered if it was baby (!!). I thought it might be the fibroid people keep telling me they can see on my scans. Anyway, I then got up and, um, relieved myself, and lo and behold the lump was gone! DH was not very impressed that I'd had him feeling & speculating on a lump of poo in my tummy. BlushGrin

Saraswati · 08/07/2014 09:23

lol at rum !!

thinking of you keep and mummyk8 hope all goes well today Thanks

Loving the lady garden chats - I have one of those bikini trimmer things, I just can't keep on top of it at the moment, its growing faster and weirdly darker! My head, leg and armpit hair is doing the same thing, I'm going to be a gorilla by 40 weeks!! On the plus side my nails are beautiful and long :)
