Emmie10 · 22/06/2014 19:57

Just an idea... On my last mumsnet ante natal thread, everyone used to put their stage of preg at the end of their post. It was handy to have for reference. What so you think?

Ikkleme Same here RE naps (although self-employed & work from home) wen't down for a half hour nap at 2 and didn't wake up until 7! I'm so tired all the time.

rumisyum & Minibagel Thats quite reassuring. I had so many complications with my last pregnancy that it's so hard not worry over every little thing. Don't get me wrong I love being pregnant but I really do feel like the next 6 months are going to drag terribly.

mummyk8 · 22/06/2014 20:21

PS

12w today

Good luck to anyone with scans tomorrow!
DH is out this evening so I'm taking advantage and chilling out with trash tv and popcorn! Grin
Had a busy weekend so planning on getting an early night so I can function in work tomorrow and tomorrow is the day I'm telling work I'm pg! Don't know how it will go down as we have to cover on call 24/7 between 4 of us (should be 6 of us but the boss & his wife no longer help us)... Means they'll be down to 3 to cover out of hours! Shock

Ps - 12+2 Grin

Starbright24 · 22/06/2014 20:35

Soo bloated this evening. Don't think I've had it too bad till now. Had to go and lie down upstairs and think I might just end up falling asleep :)
I found a really thick hair growing out my chin today. Serious witchiness going on! Had to run for tweezers straight away and really hope it hadn't been there long. I know they say hair is supposed to thicken but not so I have a beard!!!! Confused

Starbright24 · 22/06/2014 20:36

Starbright, I'm afraid of turning into a yeti this time. In my last pregnancy I sprouted hairs around my belly button, on my tummy and neck. Yesterday I noticed a huge thick black hair on my shoulder!

I am feeling very sick today, worse I have felt yet. I hope it eases tomorrow as I have a 1yr, 3yr and 4yr old mindees in all day, as well as the after school bunch. I feel a long day looming!
Good luck for all the scans this coming week.

9 weeks today.

Minibagel · 22/06/2014 21:21

starbright and blizy I found 3 dark hairs growing on my boob this week. WTAF. I remember that happening with ds1, maybe it's a sign of the testosterone from carrying a boy?

Bugaboom · 22/06/2014 21:36

When I was pregnant with ds, I didn't have to shave my legs as often. I'm hoping that happens again but not feeling hopeful reading about sprouting neck hair! Grin

star I've suddenly sprouted that fine downy hair some people have on my face except I've never had before. I'm very pale with darkish hair and am worried about waking up with a beard! I also have a fringe and have needed trims more frequently - it's bloody annoying considering I have yeti like hair already!

Will be interested to hear a review of dream genii. I get paid this week and a pregnancy pillow is going to be my payday treat along with maternity bras (rocknroll!!!!) at the moment I like the look of the dream genii but think it might be a bit big (we only have a double) and I like the theraline too.

Any recommendations of places to go and get measured for maternity bras?

OMG chin hairs you say? I'm turning into bloody Worzel Gummidge. Truefact.

Had a lovely afternoon with my sole local pg friend indulging ourselves chatting pure unadulterated pregnancy for hours on end.

12+3 (gonna stick to my original LMP dates rather than switch to newer scan-measured EDD)
