Just found the weights bit in my notes. I've gone from 12stone7 to 13s1lb so 8lbs I think. That's me not going mad, just eating what I can (carbs mostly). I gained over 4s with ds1 but would like to gain less this time as it is hard to shift afterwards.

Minibagel · 05/07/2014 08:22

12+6 woops

lindamagoo · 05/07/2014 08:25

I won't gain 5 stone this time. I WONT I tell ya Grin

Starbright24 · 05/07/2014 08:49

I have no idea what I was to start with but know I must have gone up a lot. Been eating way too much bread and toast. Sweet things not been so good for me but just munching constantly to keep the sickness away. I'm wearing long dresses with baggy t shirts over the top to hide myself. No chance at all of my jeans. Oh was prodding my bump yesterday asking where it had come from. I think it's a food bump not a baby one.

Loobyloo893 · 05/07/2014 10:06

Morning all. I've not put on weight yet but my tummy is huge, been in maternity jeans for about three weeks now.
Picked up my bounty mum to be pack this morning. Has anyone else got theirs yet? There's so much more in it than when I had DS. If you haven't got it yet, go get it. I got all excited opening it and seeing all the baby bits Smile

Loobyloo893 · 05/07/2014 10:07

11+5

RPopz · 05/07/2014 10:15

Whoops sorry - 14+0 today Grin

LMSunshine · 05/07/2014 10:21

I am lying down and felt some fluttering and looked at my belly and it was moving/jerking. I held my breath and kept really still but it's still moving ? Googled and at 15 weeks baby is only 4 inches so pretty small ? My daughter was a wriggler but dont remember it being this early? Has any one else experienced this yet ?

sunshineandbiscuits · 05/07/2014 10:23

Morning all! We got our Down's risk letter last night. 1 in 1869. I confess I was secretly hoping for an even lower risk given that some people have 1 in 10000, but I am still very relieved and I'm telling myself sternly not to be greedy! I am 31 after all.

Re: weight gain. I had put on 1.5kg (3lbs) from my bpf, partly because work was a bit crazy so I wasn't able to do my usual running. I managed to squeeze a couple of runs in this week though and have lost about half of that again which I'm pleased about. Saras I am very jealous of your pregnancy yoga. I was all set to go to my first class today as well and then it was cancelled Sad

Now we've had a good scan and the screening results, we're going to start telling some good friends this weekend. It's a bit weird because we are so used to it being our secret, but at the same time I'm really looking forward to spilling the beans Grin

13+3

Minibagel · 05/07/2014 10:26

Great news sunshine :)

Camsie30 · 05/07/2014 10:27

Looby I thought the Bounty pack was pretty rubbish, just a bag of stuff saying BUY ME BUY ME. Nice free towel though, thanks Persil!!

Camsie30 · 05/07/2014 10:28

Oh 12 + 3!!

KeepOnPloddingOn · 05/07/2014 10:46

Sara- aww I am sure you will make up for it in later pregnancy when feeling better ;) hope the yoga goes well and atleast you have little chance of gaining five stone! Not good at all.

You ladies are all doing fab by the sound of things. I need to perhaps eat more of the fruit and less of the pies ;) (in my defence I am tall and have a normal bmi.)

With my last pregnancy I was probably underweight when I fell pregnant so the five stone wasn't so dramatic. The midwives couldn't believe i had. A lot was water. My ass has never been the same though :/

I also lost 4 stone of that fairly quickly and went down to a good slim weight, but kept the last stone and a bit... Dh prefers this though ;)

This time I really don't need to gain half as much. J200 I shall checkout your thread for inspiration...

KeepOnPloddingOn · 05/07/2014 10:53

Star- I am a huge fan of the maxi dress too. I have such a nice bump in them already - I am living in them! I wanna get some maxi skirts too.

Looby- I had my bounty pack- the towel is cute :)

Lm sunshine - I have felt fluttering too and I am only 13+2- but apparantly you do feel things earlier with second?

lindamagoo · 05/07/2014 11:01

12 + 6 and have felt baby move for about 3 weeks now, baby number 3 though. You defo feel the second move earlier than the first but I'm still in shock at how early I felt this little one

sunshineandbiscuits · 05/07/2014 11:17

By the way Camsie, I agree that I wasn't that impressed by the Bounty Pack because it was just all advertising. Even my GP admitted that she wasn't quite sure why the NHS allowed advertising for maternity when they don't do it for anything else. And we didn't get a towel.

LMSunshine · 05/07/2014 11:21

Thank you for replying. It's nice to know its not my mind playing tricks. I have felt fluttering since week 12 but to see my stomach twitching was lovely. Lying in the bath watching my daughter move were the happiest memories of being pregnant and its lovely having that feeling and seeing it again :-).

As for weight gain, I can't remember how much I put on last time but it wasn't much. I than put loads on after she was born as was sitting down watching tv stuffing my face on maternity leave :-). I have put 3 pounds on so far this pregnancy.

15 weeks today.

Loobyloo893 · 05/07/2014 11:33

Maybe the bounty packs are different then. We got a towel and two really sweet baby grows as well as lots of other samples. Reminded me how tiny babies are. You forget when u have a huge lump of a 3yr old Grin

Loobyloo893 · 05/07/2014 11:35

2 yr old even!

RPopz · 05/07/2014 12:10

Yup, I thought my Bounty pack was a bit corporate and crappy tbh! Threw most of it away. No towel either! Did get some nice decaf teabags though Smile

ilovelamp78 · 05/07/2014 12:22

I was 59.3 kg at my scan on weds my normal weight is 57 so I reckon I've put on 4.5 pounds, most of which was in weeks 7-10 when I was really sleepy, not vomiting and eating all the carbs known to mankind. I haven't done much excercise since then either but am feeling way more energetic so it's time to get back on it! Who got a towel in their bounty pack? Nice! All I got was some decaf tea bags and a load of rubbish leaflets :(

ilovelamp78 · 05/07/2014 12:23

Oops 13+5!

Loobyloo893 · 05/07/2014 12:36

The bounty pack that you get from your midwife is rubbish, just leaflets and a tea bag. But the next one that you pick up from boots or asda has more samples, a towel and baby grows in.

Camsie30 · 05/07/2014 13:23

Mine was from my midwife and had a towel inside, branded with a Persil label. Looby can you get the boots one anytime? I applied online for their parents pack but haven't received anything yet

KatnissEvermean · 05/07/2014 13:27

I threw the Bounty pack away, it just had some teabags and loads of advertising in it. I saw the voucher for the one to get from Asda, but it didn't say what would be in it and I didn't think it was worth selling my details for. I made the mistake of giving Mothercare my email when I bought a bra and I've been inundated with emails since!

I haven't been keeping track of my weight (I've seen it in the doctors but kgs don't mean anything to me), but feeling flabby. When I went for my scan the woman doing it said I was slender which made my day!
