I have unwanted hairs too Retro. I found dark nasal hairs at the top of my nostrils this morning. FML.

Linda is there any other bleeding or was it literally just the bit of 'flesh'? Fingers crossed it's the polyp!

RetroHippy · 16/06/2014 22:34

I could pull it out, but I'm pretty confident it will grow back.

At least it'll cover up the zits...

How much longer have I got?! Hmm

MademoiselleG · 16/06/2014 22:38

Eeeeew. I just google imaged polyp. I've google imaged FAR TOO MANY horrendous things since I started on the dragon thread. Must stop.

MademoiselleG · 16/06/2014 22:39

(Sorry Linda. I'm not technically eeew-ing at your polyp...!)

fancyacupoftea · 16/06/2014 22:43

After reading something the other day, I google image searched 'mucus plug'. DARE YOU!

fancyacupoftea · 16/06/2014 22:46

I just did polyp. Ew.

MademoiselleG · 16/06/2014 22:47

Nonononononono don't make me, I can't resist a google image dare!!

RetroHippy · 16/06/2014 22:48

I read that too fancy! And then googled Envy

MademoiselleG · 16/06/2014 22:50

Urgh. Just googled mucus plug. The 5th picture is quite funny but eeew to the rest. Now how will I sleep?!

RetroHippy · 16/06/2014 22:52

Some of those pictures look like cervix bollocks.

And dear lord. I never, ever want a prolapsing cervix!

Feeling a bit sicky this morning. Bleurgh.

Looks like I'm having a glass of water for breakfast today and will have to pop down to Tesco to see if they've got anything plain and simple that I can nibble on...fx they still sell the gluten free/milk free cheese biscuits...

Sad spotti. Hope you find something.

I had the worst nights sleep ever. Crazy dreams, boob pain, getting up in the night to pee multiple times.

Feeling very pregnant (tired) today. Yawn!

MademoiselleG · 17/06/2014 07:01

Lovely article Zermatt. A lot of truth in there...

Spotti I hope you feel better.

Bloody hell, I could really do with calling in sick today: soooo tired and dd has an awful cough Hmm

MrsGingerbread · 17/06/2014 07:39

Phew! Found you!

I hope you enjoyed the dragon-world-tour.

I've got a scary epac appointment today as my frers are still bfps (a month since miscarriage now). Hoping they can explain it for me. rubs bus for luck

Makes sure her seat is okay and goes away again

Well by the time nhs24 called back I was sound asleep, I spoke to my cousin who's a nurse and used to work at the maternity hospital and gynae and she said it defo sounds like the polyp. I'll go to docs today and get checked. Step away from google images ladies my polyp is tiny and nothing like those, lol.

lindamagoo · 17/06/2014 07:58

MrsG I hope they can help you today, so frustrating for you

MademoiselleG · 17/06/2014 08:21

Following everyone's cue yesterday re: caffeine, I just had a flat white on the way to work. Utter bliss! Oh, and a group of hot firemen just happened to be walking through the station wearing reeeeeally tight red uniforms and I accidentally followed them all the way instead of going to school. Today is a good day!Wink

MademoiselleG · 17/06/2014 08:22

Glad you sound reassured Linda - let us know what the doc says!

lindamagoo · 17/06/2014 08:30

Lol Made, that's sounds like the perfect start to your day, coffee and hotties, hubba hubba Wink

broodysnoopstie · 17/06/2014 08:52

Morning from itchy land. My red spots can now only be described as big angry welts. I slept COVERED in Calamine lotion. They seem to be spreading too I've got some horrible ones on my bum and on my scalp now. It's really very miserable! Happy Tuesday

freneticfox · 17/06/2014 09:24

Ok, how do you gals manage to keep your cool at work? My job can be somewhat stressful anyway, but at the moment it's really over the top. I don't want to be one of these people that constantly whines for people to give me a break because I'm pregnant, but being pressured to do a thousand different things for a thousand different people.. it's feeling a bit too much at the moment :/

Zermatt · 17/06/2014 10:28

Deep breathes and try to remember it's only work fox oh and make lots of lists and give people realistic expectations and speak out to your manager if you are swamped.

I still haven't told work yet (that's tomorrow) and have only called in sick one day during the last 10 wks, we've been really crazy busy too, I've just tried to do what I can and not allowed myself to stres about the rest. Pretty much everyone is pregnant in our office apart from Frank the cleaner, so I don't expect much sympathy or an easier load after I fess up tomorrow.

hanflan · 17/06/2014 10:44

I have my doctors appt first thing tomorrow morning! In our area they have to see you first before they refer you to a midwife... has anyone done this? What happens in the appt? Do I just piss in a pot, he'll say congrats and a midwife will be in touch?
