Lovely pic knotty . Glad to hear scan went well. In our scan pic baby just looks like a blob and everyone else's seems to look like a real baby! And snap on due date!

Glad to hear you havepolyp closure linda

mrsg with my last mc in October I still had positive pg tests the week after mc, so was sent to hospital for monitoring. My HCG kept going up for another week and dropped really slowly. I had to have blood tests every 2 weeks until it hit 0 which took 2 and a half months. Apparently pg test can pick up and hcg level of 25 or something, so sensitive nowadays.

I think the hospital wanted to make sure there wasn't a molar pg so we had to wait for the all clear. It was a miserable 3 months, especially since I got pg with ds 2 months after my 1st mc. I felt like I was missing my window for ttc and creeping closer to edd of tne pg we lost (would have been last week so lovely we could mark the weekend with our 11w scan).

fancyacupoftea · 17/06/2014 19:18

Engels I'm glad that after going through that you were able to celebrate with a happy dating scan Smile

Frenetic any chance the Dr can refer you for more CBT? Without meaning to be negative, pregnancy takes a long time and it might not be your only one so focussing the sessions on dealing with this might help in some way? Although is it a long shot that they'd refer you?

MrsGingerbread · 17/06/2014 19:41

Engels Thank you for the info. I am just so puzzled, and of course I am clinging to the hope that it just could be a real new bfp, but my heart knows that a bfp on 2dpo makes that not at all likely. Still, I am very happy with the care I am getting and I should have some answers soon.

It would be great to know what directinon the figures are moving in, at least. :)

Great that you celebrated with a scan, I hope I can do that too one day. :)

Viperama · 17/06/2014 19:44

Hi Ladies I've been lurking away for a few days now. Feeling frustrated as I have managed to sprain a rib, which means I can only sleep on my right side but still have pain, I can't breathe deeply without pain, and I'm basically constantly in pain. No ibuprofen of course. So it's all rather awesome. It is however distracting me from pregnancy worries so maybe a good thing while I cope with mild ms and wait for my reassurance scan Thursday.

On tonight's wild craving menu, chicken tikka masala and cucumber. Omg I cannot wait for delivery to arrive!

Really glad it was just a polyp Linda and you girls are freaking me out with google images! I will not ever google anything remotely gory as I just might spew and I don't need that in my brain reference library.

Was actually thinking today at work, shit, I'm going to have to give birth. I'm old so maybe I'll get away and be happy with just the one. Did you guys get the Cosby Show in the UK? Main character was a baby doctor and he used to say giving birth is like taking your bottom lip and pulling it up over your head lol!

freneticfox · 17/06/2014 20:11

fancy I did mention it to my GP but because I was discharged from CBT over a year ago, she said that it would take a while to get a consultation before even going on the waiting list. Mulling it over though, even though I know I have the mindset and tools to deal with this.

It's a very frustrating feeling!

CallingAllEngels · 17/06/2014 20:11

Did they scan you after the mc mrsG ? That was the most puzzling thing about mine - that they scanned me a million times over the following 2-3 weeks and there was nothing there to explain the rise (have never had so many different people look at my fanjo in such a short space of time Grin ). My mw practice (who I was with for DS) were fantastic and gave me an early scan at 8w with this pg. Fx for a BFP.

Hmmm...chicken tikka viper I have just eatne my body weight in toblerone, but a curry would go down nicely.

thanks for your kinds words fancy I was actually so preoccupied with being pg NOW that the EDD date almost passed me by, though the week before with the build up to the scan I was thinking about it. The good news pushed it out of my head Smile

Told my grandparents in person when I saw them in the UK last weekend. My GM (who is a piece of work) said, "I thought so, last time I saw you. The way you were standing gave it away." Ummmm, I don't think so granny since the last time I saw you was February and I didn't get a BFP till mid April!

can I just say how much it's made me laugh reading through the thread today. DH is starting to get slightly worried that I am laughing at my computer on a regular basis Smile

RetroHippy · 17/06/2014 20:13

Ugh. Feeling crappy this evening.

Tired, bloated and a bit off food (unheard of for me!). I've eaten my dinner, but now feel huge and like its stuck somewhere in my chest. Not painful, just full.

I've got a lesson observation first thing tomorrow, which I should be prepping for and I'm not. I know vaguely what I'm doing, and so much depends on what the kids are feeling like on the day I've got to the place now where there's not much point in prepping more.

At least the deputy who is observing knows, so when if I cry on her she'll know why!

Think the best thing I can do is go to bed and hope for a better nights sleep than last night. Some seriously crazy dreams going on!

First I'd better find some clothes that fit me and don't make me look too preggers. I had a brief but lovely three weeks where my boobs stuck out further than my normal little pot belly. Now the boobs are bigger still, but the belly has bloated up to match Hmm

sammyj85 · 17/06/2014 21:05

I've just eaten an 8 pack of garlic and coriander poppadoms for tea. Gorgeous! Might be the snack of choice for the foreseeable future!

MademoiselleG · 17/06/2014 21:07

God almighty, you do all make me laugh so much! I scared the cat by laughing very loudly at the attempts at silent farting on a school trip fancy . You do all crack me up!

Eeeeeew at the giving birth analogy Viper !

Good luck with your obs retro...I've so run out of steam here, no idea how I'd cope with an observation. I really hope the kids behave for you!

RetroHippy · 17/06/2014 21:21

What do you mean, it's not baby yet?! Hmm

This looks like I'm sticking it out. I'm not Blush when did you begin to look preggers (is she/isn't she gossipy bumps) with your first? I know it's just bloating, but this is daft Grin secretly I quite like it though.

Mlle they are awful. Up there with the worst I've taught. Just so bloody fussy. And she's really in to observe behaviour, so I told them today she's coming to see how well they behave and their trip next week is hanging in the balance... I'm so mean. Just too knackered to deal with then and they know it.

RetroHippy · 17/06/2014 21:21

Oops, meant to post the pic with that...

Treaclepie19 · 17/06/2014 21:23

retro!!! Look at your bump!!! :)

fancyacupoftea · 17/06/2014 21:24

I didn't give a shit about my observation either Retro. All I asked when it was done was "will I have to do it again?" to which he said no so I'm happy. 6 months ago I would have got all worked up about wanting to be outstanding. Not arsed now. Sorry your SYMPTOMS seem to be on the decline though.

Losing steam to do my work. Someone poke me.

2 more sleeps until scan!!

fancyacupoftea · 17/06/2014 21:25

BUMP PIC! I'm going to dig out the massive bloat pic I took the day after I got my BFP.

fancyacupoftea · 17/06/2014 21:27

Whilst I find it, the kids were staring at my belly the other day. I don't want them to know yet in case they get upset and tell me I'm ruining their A Levels.

Retro when I couldn't believe the size of my belly I read something that said if it's a 1st pregnancy it's unlikely to be actual baby. But, whilst it's not an actual baby bump it's a bump caused by baby so you can still say it's a preggo belly.

fancyacupoftea · 17/06/2014 21:29

Day after BFP bloaty belly. It's only been getting bigger since.

PolytheneGirl · 17/06/2014 21:33

Loving the christmas jammies!

Both pgs I was showing by 8 weeks. I think the slimmer you are the harder it is to hide.

MademoiselleG · 17/06/2014 21:37

BUMP PICTURES!!! Omg you two, serious bumpage! Is it even bigger now fancy? Exciting!
I just tried in the asos dress and I swear the three if us would fit in it. Easy. Obvious preggo wear? Too obvious fur school?

mrshjb · 17/06/2014 21:38

Ah I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one with a huge bloated belly well before it could possibly be baby bump :)

RetroHippy · 17/06/2014 21:39

whilst it's not an actual baby bump it's a bump caused by baby so you can still say it's a preggo belly

^ this!! Totally a preggo belly Grin

(Cute bfp bloat there too Wink)

And thanks poly. The elasticated waist and the fact that I was randomly freezing till I started eating meant these bad boys went on about 5:30. Nothing like festive fleecy legs Grin!

RetroHippy · 17/06/2014 21:44

Mlle, go for it. I've got a selection of Jersey dresses I'm cracking out at weekends. My workwear has craftily consisted of floaty/baggy tops for some time now Wink this is now my recognised work wardrobe so I reckon I'll get away gossip free until the end of term. Be a surprise come September though Grin

htbftm · 17/06/2014 21:47

yay Linda! What a relief! Im up there with bloaty belly :( still feel like a fraud as I know its not real bump. I havent been able to fit n my normal clothes since about 8 weeks, but checked today and bhave only put on about 1.5 kg and will be 15 wks tomorrow!

fancyacupoftea · 17/06/2014 22:01

It's probably about time I did a comparison picture actually. OH GO ON THEN BECAUSE YOU ALL INSIST I WILL GO AND DO ONE.

MademoiselleG · 17/06/2014 22:01

Retro is that gossip free from colleagues or kids? Like fancy I really don;t want the A-level kids panicking about their A-levels, but I guess they'll find out soon enough anyway. I am also on a week-long school trip in a couple of weeks and I think it'll be harder to hide then. Ah well, it's nothing to be ashamed of after all!

Trying to find a picture that doesn't totally give away who I am to the whole world. Seriously relieved I am not the only early-bumpy one!
