Hey team dragons, hope all is well this evening. Glad to see you've all eaten plenty!
Love that idea Poly, but I too was slow on the uptake...I'd like to blame the baby brain!
Spotti - do it, thirst will be fun, sure they'll get it.
And Madam, seriously lady you are amazing to be on here chatty etc. I know you are saying you can't do anything and what will be will be, but still it is amazing how strong you are. I only hope for you Monday sheds more light on things and helps with the decision. So pleased they are seeing you a bit earlier too.

fancyacupoftea · 27/06/2014 21:43

Bella I like the Bugaboo Bee but it's quite pricey. Would probably spend that much if I could guarantee nothing cheaper was just as good but that's why we're doing so much research! DH likes the Urbo but I'd rather one with suspension. I had good fun pushing the Britax Affinity in a shop this evening but again, quite expensive especially when you add the extras.

OH MY GOD I'M OBSESSED.

On a different note, I'm sending a big internet hug to Mademoiselle. I'm glad you're able to get to the hospital on Monday as limbo is not good. Obviously good news would be the best. If it isn't, I do hope the decision is out your hands.

Treaclepie19 · 27/06/2014 21:44

Haha thanks Poly, aww that's lovely :)

Don't face ofsted!!! :p

Knottyknitter · 27/06/2014 22:05

I'm a clumsy idiot!

Ran to car in the rain after work (about ten yards) and split eyebrow. Blood everywhere. Got soaked nipping back in for a dressing, and took forever to find a bit of gauze. Patched up and drove home, then had to glue head back together as it was all gapey. Now have a headache.

I'm an idiot. And so is my doctor . [Wink]

Knottyknitter · 27/06/2014 22:06
Wink

Idiot, I tell you.

fancyacupoftea · 27/06/2014 22:12

Lol Knotty! Hope you're okay. Did you have to stitch yourself?!

PolytheneGirl · 27/06/2014 22:17

Aw Knotty you know an eyebrow scar is uber sexy though right! Hope you're ok Thanks

Knottyknitter · 27/06/2014 22:28

fancy, I got away with a drop of wound glue. (Mary Poppins - esqu handbag!) Stings a bit, and can't wash hair this weekend but far easier to do on yourself!

"Mad pregnant wife kills husband"

If you see this in the news. Its me

no football on tonight so ive had an evening of ps3 and boxing. I have the rage so went off to bed. This has to end. Our house is officially a football free zone before I kill him

fancyacupoftea · 27/06/2014 22:46

They've been officially named 'The Preg-grumps' in our house

CallingAllEngels · 28/06/2014 07:38

mlle glad to hear they're scanning you ealier.

poly I'm and English teacher and have taught Orwell more times that I care to remember and I stillmstared at your post for 10 minutes, didn't get it and then had to go through the thread to find out what you were falking about. [thick emoticon]

And speaking of being slow, with DS we showed ojr parents the ultrasound without telling them first whatmit was andthey were incredibly slow.

MademoiselleG · 28/06/2014 08:29

Thank you all for your kind words. Some days or times of the day are tougher than others. Bumping into friends who didn't know I was pg now I have a visible bump is hard. Getting ready for bed at night when it's at its biggest and not finding a comfortable position to sleep is hard. Feeling bad because I'm not one of these superhero mums who would take it on the chin and carry their baby to full term no matter what, considering that we are both Christian and churchgoers, is hard. I feel like a selfish hypocrite, but I'm putting my existing family first.

Anyway. PRAMS! Why don't you buy one on eBay fancy ? We got a bugaboo cameleon for dd, perfect condition and with all the little expensive extras (footmuff, sheepskin, cup holder, umbrella, car seat adaptor clips...) for £400 on gumtree and I think we will prob use it again this time round. If not, we'd prob get at least £300 back for it!
One of my friends went through about 5 different prams that way: bought them on eBay, tried them, bought another one, compared, sold on. She viewed any 'financial losses' as rental charge Wink . It's time consuming though, obviously...

Littlebear81 · 28/06/2014 10:29

Hi everyone. Been on holiday for two weeks and you've nearly filled a whole thread! Tried to keep up whilst I was away but it was tricky! Hope you're all doing ok and glad to see the food conversations haven't stopped!

Have much more energy now but this may also be due to having two weeks off work. Also definitely showing although the holiday food has probably helped!

Mademoiselle sorry to hear about your results and fingers crossed everything works out ok or it's an easy decision if it comes to that. Seems like you're having to wait ages to find out more.

Poly happy anniversary!

lindamagoo · 28/06/2014 10:33

Happy anniversary Mr & Mrs Poly Thanks

MademoiselleG · 28/06/2014 10:34

Oh yes: happy anniversary Mr and Mrs poly!!!!WineBiscuitThanks

PolytheneGirl · 28/06/2014 11:39

Thank you ladies! DH thinks it's a good idea to take me to a buffet restaurant to eat. He may have to roll me back to the car Shock

lindamagoo · 28/06/2014 11:54

Poly that sounds like a dream date to me Grin enjoy lovely Smile

Spotti · 28/06/2014 12:22

Mmmmm buffet...what kind of buffet?

OP posts:
fancyacupoftea · 28/06/2014 12:34

did someone say buffet?

PolytheneGirl · 28/06/2014 13:06

It's Chinese but they do a bit of other stuff too. Plus they make pancakes and candy floss to order!

Knottyknitter · 28/06/2014 13:15

Buffet sounds nice.

Am still feeling a bit sorry for myself after yesterday. Not helped by no longer being able to do up my fat combats. It's All a bit swollen and sore, but at least managed a shower of sorts!

RetroHippy · 28/06/2014 13:32

Mmm, buffet...

Just found Call the Midwife on Netflix. I've been hunting on BBC online for yonks. Happy lazy Saturday Smile

Or not so happy... Just past the title credits and I'm snivelling for no reason Blush

fancyacupoftea · 28/06/2014 13:35

Ahh that's fine Retro. Normal innit. I bought some nice unisex bodysuits today (realised that there's so few nice unisex clothes around that have to get it when I see it) and took one out the packet and welled up because it was so cute and small.

RetroHippy · 28/06/2014 13:41

We're going to Babies R Us later. I'll be a snivelling wreck all the way round. Welled up in Mothercare the other day. I feel this is a sign of things to come Grin

lindamagoo · 28/06/2014 13:46

I've been looking at prams and stuffing my face with chocolate. I'm going to be the size of a house very soon if I keep this up. Really want to get the same pram as we had for ds1. It's a mutsy urban rider pram, was fab for long walks through the woods and fields and it just looks cool
