Starting a new thread for August babies.

Congratulations! Great news, and lovely name - would have been on my short list if dh had agreed to it!

I had baby Eliza on Monday. She was born at 37 weeks and it was a rather swift delivery. We are all fine though :)

Congrats for all the new babies! I've been lurking, don't know if anyone remembers me from earlier threads.

I'm 40+1 today.... Wish this baby would hurry up.

I have never felt so tired, achy, sore and skanky! Have had reaction to antibiotics so lovely hive type rash everywhere - coupled with the bleeding I feel eurgh!!! DH is being wonderful and dd is being 'helpful'!!

Hope you ladies aren't kept waiting too long. At least the temp has dropped.

I'm now 39+ 4 and I so want this to be over! Cramps everywhere, unable to sleep, sweating like a pig and generally feeling grim. Good news is that I've had a few period like pains in my back so I'm hoping my cervix is doing something!

37+6. I'm ready to have my wee boy now!!

41 weeks out baby out!!

Hey all, sorry I have been absent, I'm being induced tomorrow on his due date due to maternal tachacardia and other complications, so here's hoping to have my baby in my arms by Wednesday at least!!

How annoying re the induction delay. Fx it happens soon.

39 weeks yesterday and baby is here had false Labour Friday morning, went to hospital to be assessed....nothing was happening so got sent home then contractions stopped....I was so disappointed....tried a few old wives tales to bring on Labour...then at 1 am I needed to be taken back to hospital....monster contractions!! Had epidural relaxed and slept though a lot of Labour got fully dilated and then baby decided he wasn't gonna budge down, so went in for c section, which was a good job I did as placenta started coming away, poor little mite was in shock had to go special care...all is ok and we are having a snuggle right now!! His awesome!! xx

Congratulations romomum! Sounds like a dramatic experience but so pleased he is here safely.

My little girl was born on Friday after a quick and straightforward labour. Very happy and enjoying newborn snuggles!

been back in hosp. Everything been a bit tits up here but due to reduced movements im being induced on Saturday and ive had a sweep yesterday too which has given me some pain etc I was 1cm on sunday and 2-3 yesterday so something is happening

Good luck monsters, so sorry to hear about all the stress. Our wee girl is a week old today! Kept meaning to announce her arrival but have been enjoying and panicking in equal measure! Anyway, congrats to all other mums with new tiny tots and FX for those still to come xxxxxxx
