Starting a new thread for August babies.

Thank you all. I cant believe rhey are sending me home despite the urge to push! I keep getting pains thats making my body push naturally and pressure in my bum but not dilating. She pissed on my parade and saidoh its only a lil bit open coz youve had kids before. That was the first bloody mention of it! So I said if I start with pain and im not coping which I havent been she said come back we will have to do something else

wtf!! Im in pain now!
Im happy to go home but also scared to and ive told herthat. Seems like the need a fucking bed!

Monsters, sorry you are having such a hard time. It must be scary. I hope you are able to relax a bit when you get home - perhaps just being in your own environment will help. Thinking of you.

Have they said what the plan is now? Must be so hard to deal with the pain and uncertainty.

Ive been contracting for around hours and then I get a break for an hour or so and then pain is back and thats howits been since Tuesday.

Plan is to wait n see

hes had his steriods, hes 2.6 efw, he was amber yesterday for his trace. Had thar fibronectin test and last week was negative yesterday was positive and so they are keeping me as im still contracting. Ive been on delivery since yesterday 5pm.

Oh monsters that sounds exhausting.

Even better though contractions stayed put last night so I could get some sleep so unless they have another reason to keep me here (the bleeding is minimum too, his ecg is ok as well no longer amber) then I will be discharging myself if they dont send me home as all they are doimg is keeping me in to keep an eye on me but I know im more comfortable at home. . Sounds fair doesnt it?

Very fair. Hope you get to go home and baby stays put for a good while. :-)

Plan is
if bleeding continues then another examination, pains hold off then I can have my blood thinning injection andgo home if examination is ok this evening (if I dont complain which im not doimg lol) I see the consultant tomorrow so im back then anyway.

oh monsters, poor you! i really hope things start moving either way soon for you.

Ive got ecoli In my kidneys so thats started uterine contractions which has threatened early labour.
Its done some damage as to putting me at high risk for prem labour. The fact that the test came vack positive for prem labour means it could happen at any time and the knly thing theh can do is treat the infection and hope it helps the pain. If in 2 or 3 weeks im still like this will probably get a sweep. If I go into labour before thaf I have a proper birth plan as I hemorrhage after delivery so thats reassuring too.

Even though the infection is being treated still at risk of prem labour as test was positive

Just taking each day as it comes now.
consultant was kept saying just because ive seen you doesnt mean everything is ok. If you start getting pains then come back in.

So sorry for what you're going through, Monsters. I hope that the next few days are calmer for you.

Just want him out now fed up of not being able ro fully look after the dc properly. Getting them pains again doesn't help.

I have an appointment next week she mentioned a sweep so will see what happens and if im still 'eligible' lol
