Moomin - after pains are something I've only ever heard of in relation to second baby rather than first! I would personally ring midwife and explain symptoms or possibly nhs 111 (or equivalent of) if it feels like it's getting unbearable! Doesn't sound right to me!!

samba I really feel for you and your situation as I know it feels sometimes like you need to control something! I hope it all works out for you :( yep am having a little Easter miniplum!!

mrsfoo I'm not a coconut fan :( but the thought of REAL LIFE CHOCKLIT sounds amazing!!

bushbaby dobe and many others (so sorry of my rubbish remembering a ability) thanks for reassurance. I know I'm being silly and fretty but I just can't help it!!

Also fellow diabetics- do you know that having a cold sends your blood sugars right up! After having my usual egg on toast breakfast this morning which usually sends me to 6.4 or so... Sugars were 10.0!!!! Apparently stress causes inflation too so am all out of whack at the moment and am worried am causing harm to the baby :(

Hello to all newbys aswell Grin and a couple of Easter Smile Easter Smile for Easter luck!

SarahJinx · 17/04/2014 20:13

Oh god, I LOVE coconut cake, this is a dream for me, pick me to test it, pick me!!

I'm also going to be induced, I found out today, but at term. They won't let me go over because baby is already measuring over 8lbs at 37 weeks (eeeeep!) and I've had two borderline GTTs. Of course I might not make it that far but it's still freaking, me out Samba so I feel your pain, it's of having a date, and it's odd having it taken out of your hands, even though spontaneous labour is also totally out of your hands too....oh I know what I mean.

I'm so fed up too, my fanjo hurts like a bastard and I cannot get any relief from it at all.

Moomin, that doesn't sound good, call the labour ward for sure.

NannyPlumForPM · 17/04/2014 20:43

Oh no we need a new thread and I can't because am watching master chef Easter Wink

ohdearitshappeningtome · 17/04/2014 20:51

I've missed master chef!!!!

Mini me is coming down from nicu! I could almost pee myself !!!

ohdearitshappeningtome · 17/04/2014 20:54

Moomin are you breast feeding? Sometimes you can feel unwell when your breast feeding, but careful your not engorged or it becomes mastitis ! Is your positioning ok? If in doubt ring your triage unit!

My milk came in over night and my boobs hurt like a bastars!!

SarahJinx · 17/04/2014 21:02

That's wonderful news ohdear.

dobedobedo · 17/04/2014 21:41

Yay ohdear! Great news! Grin

loopylou52 · 17/04/2014 22:01

That's fab news oh dear, must be so hard being apart from him.

Sorry I can't advise moomin, but sounds sensible to get checked out.

I am in such an awful, irritable mood tonight. Everyone and everything is driving me mad! Think the hormones have finally caught up with me! Confused

BlanketSky · 17/04/2014 22:13

Moomin sounds like after my TFMR, I had a slight infection . You need antibiotics.

Ohdear yay!

samba sorry you're facing a change of plan but better you know now?

Coconut cake sounds amazing! Sooo uncomfortable at the moment, another b2b baby whose wriggling and kicking is actually quite painful. Max 10 more days to go...

pickletalk14 · 17/04/2014 22:17

Yay oh dear! That has made me smile.

Sorry about your birth plan samba try to look for the positives.

I'm watching yesterday's masterchef so no spoilers from today please!

I had two 45 min naps today to get through a day working from home... good job I wasn't in the office. Really pleased it's easter. Easter Smile

I've done a new thread www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/2056504-Due-May-2014-the-Maybies-are-IN-THE-DROPZONE hope that's ok!

It was my birthday today and had a wonderful day with DH loads of cards and pressies this am then out for very posh afternoon tea with cucumber sandwiches... I don't even usually like cucumber, scones, cakes and puddings and tea!

Then this evening baby went totally bonkers disco in my womb like never before... I totally panicked and we are just back from hospital where they were lovely!

All fine apparently but reading my notes and baby has gone from fully engaged 1/5 palpable to NOT ENGAGED, in 10 days. Silly baby you're going THE WRONG WAY! Anyway probably explains movements which MW said were totally normal! It better not turn now that it's popped itself out! I will not be impressed!

Anyway not much on this weekend and MW routine appt planned for Tues so need to relax and not worry!

Anyway don't forget to proceed directly to NEW THREAD in an orderly fashion!

Thank you! X
