July 2014 - Thread 4! Moving into the 2nd trimester and starting to glow.

Didn't see one started, as our last thread looks full. Let's hope we are all kicking the early pregnancy sickness and starting to glow :)

Well the week from hell at work is done, and so am I - absolutely exhausted. Supposed to be going to in-laws for weekend (entirely so DH can take part in a cycle sportive ) but I am going to cry off. My own bed and peace and quiet is far too tempting.

Really getting the fear about the 20 week scan on Tuesday. I think (hope) if everything is OK I might chill out a bit as the anxiety is getting a bit tedious.

So I was a bit naughty earlier-we haven't found out the gender and I am genuinely happy eitherway-we have 1 DS already so have lots of boy stuff but obviously no girly stuff. I spotted a couple of up to 1month girls leggings in Tesco for £1 each and a couple if pink stripey hats reduced too and I bought them figured I could use as gifts if we have another boy and currently hiding them from DH!

Plate - don't you just love DHs and their quest for exercise. God knows what mine is planning at the moment!! Well done for surviving the week. And good luck with the scan next week. I feel so much better now I have had mine although since being prodded a lot so they could see everything they needed my bump seems to have doubled in size!

And Blue - love how you are hiding things from your DH!!

plate DP is a cyclist too... He's in training for a ride in April so I don't see him at least one day on the weekend!

Another scan here and another boy - a thumb sucker apparently and everything as expected

the boys are out numbering the girls lol!
bluec2 I did the same only I bought 1 pink & 3blue, my instinct was right for once unless our "very obvious its a boy" comment from radiographer is wrong.
due date is 11th but the epu scan measured us as 9th of july and 20wk scan measured us as due 5th of July - the radiographer said they wouldnt change my due date even tho my LMP was a 1 day spotting :s
has anyone else any experience of date being changed or not changed even tho measuring ahead?

Incapinka my bump seems to have expanded a lot since being prodded for the scan on Wednesday too!

I have a windsurfing, snowboarding, motocrossing DH so he often disappears off on weekends to indulge his hobbies. He can do as much as he likes between now and July because it will all change then. At least until we get into a rhythm as a family of four.
