Sounds about right rebecca your uterus is at about that height now. My one gets annoyed when I sneeze I think as I always feel baby move after.

Make sure you watch suits, it is one of my favourites.

I'm not feeling baby yet at 20+4!

Have booked ante natal groups for myself and dh for April!!

moominleigh94 · 22/12/2013 10:52

I'll be 22 weeks tomorrow Shock it's all going so fast!

Got to pack and head home for Christmas and I'm so excited except what happens if I start having more new cravings (most recent ones are hot dog sausages and hot pork sandwiches) that I can't run out to ASDA two minutes drive away and get them Shock

Trivial, I know, but still worrying Shock

Hezbean · 22/12/2013 11:07

Sounds right Rebecca that's so exciting!

Going to brave sainsburys shortly and have a lot of wrapping, tidying and cooking to do.

Had a terrible nights sleep and a really weird dream that this overbearing American family had to be with us at the 20week scan, that the scan was done by someone I know from work who immediately told us it was a boy, we we'stressed out cos we didn't want to know. Then the American family got in a fight and then turned into zombies which me and a gang of my old school friend had to kill, on skis! Very strange!!!

Feels like the baby has moved upwards overnight which is exciting!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 22/12/2013 11:40

thistle don't worry, its your first. Give it another week and you'll be feeling what you know is baby. Your probably feeling baby but thinking it's your bowels. The best way I can describe it initially is like small bubbles popping and sometimes you know when you go over a hill in the car and your belly does that funny sensation, I get that right in the pit of my belly at the moment, its baby turning.

moominleigh94 · 22/12/2013 13:27

Congrats mumof2 that's great news!!!! So happy for you :)

The craving issue has been resolved, for today at least. OH and I are having an actual Sunday dinner today for the first time since we moved in, pork steaks, potatoes, veg, gravy and yorkie pudds. Crisis resolved Grin

Xavielli · 22/12/2013 18:54

ISawNannyPlumKissingSantaClaus · 23/12/2013 00:05

Congrats mumof2 got mine at 10:30 tomorrow Xmas Grin don't fancy any of those horrid dreams though. Setting the alarm early to get my pint of water in Smile

mrsmummytobe · 23/12/2013 00:26

God do we still need to drink a pint of water beforehand isawnanny? I'm always busting by the time of the scan!

Agh what is wrong with me these days, I just can't settle & get to sleep at all!

smile4me · 23/12/2013 07:19

Thanks for all the welcomes Smile and congratulations on your exciting scan news mumof2. Do you have 2 girls already?

Sounds like you had a great christmas yesterday dobe Smile

Definitely sounds like movements you're feeling rebecca! Very exciting isn't it Smile I have an anterior placenta this time so hardly feeling anything Sad although get a couple of definite wriggles every day. With my DD by 20w she was going nuts every time I ate and at bed time, so is really strange to not be feeling much yet. Definitely felt 2 good kicks from the outside last night though Smile

mrsmummy I was told to drink a whole litre of fluid an hour before my scan! Had me very close to bursting point by the time you add in a bit of childbirth induced weakness and pressing on tummy for scan! But it seems to vary between hospitals heaps, so a couple of glasses should be plenty!

Good luck for all the scanees today Grin

ThePollyAndTheIvy · 23/12/2013 07:54

Welcome to team blue Mumof2!

Good luck to anyone with scans coming up!

Xavielli · 23/12/2013 08:31

No need to drink before a 20 week scan as baby isn't in your pelvis anymore.

I seem to have reached the 'Bloody starving but can't eat more than 3 mouthfuls in a sitting' stage just in time for Xmas. I think my body hates me!

mrsmummytobe · 23/12/2013 09:27

I just wrote a msg but it got deleted! This is the gist of it though:

Thanks smile & xav. The scan's not until 1.30 so got some time this morning. We're off to stay with the in laws for Xmas today (we alternate between them & my family each year) so I'm running around trying to get everything packed & ready. Still got a couple of last min presents to buy for dh before we leave!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 23/12/2013 09:31

Rhank you for all the congratulations ladies. I am over the moon!

smile yes, we already have two girls, but I've had a few issues this pregnancy and OH was scared so i had to agree this is the last one for us, hence I was desperate to get my bouncing baby boy.

xav that is pants! I've just started getting hearburn but swig a bit of gaviscon during dinner to help so I can eat more! I hope your vody cooperates for christmas day.

Good luck today nanny let us know how you get on. And I agree with xav you shouldn't need to drink so mich this time round as baby is higher up.

Good luck mrsmummy how exciting.

Dilemma - really want to see my best friend and goddaughter today and we arranged it ages ago. But it means getting a train out of London towards oxford and first great western are saying severe weather warnings and delayed trains and speed restrictions. Really want to see them but really don't want to get stuck out of town or stuck on delayed / cancelled trains. What to do?!
