Good luck for your scan wispa
I am counting the minutes to lunch. Had to move it to 12:40 instead of 12 to accommodate some people which is really annoying. Do they not realise how hungry I am?

MTMD · 25/10/2013 12:56

I'm usually such very healthy eater but recently been having absolute crap. Cheese, pasta, crisps, ice cream and even pot noodles! Anything remotely healthy turns my stomach inside out! DH said it feels like he's living with an über picky toddler Blush

CleverOl10 · 25/10/2013 13:09

I'm trying desperately to crave fruit but the bunch of bananas I bought this morning is still intact, however the crisps and other unhealthy snacks appear to be gone.

LadyGoneGaga · 25/10/2013 13:13

What am I doing? Am practising looking after THREE children today (my two plus one of my elder's school friends). Blimey but it's tiring! Hoping this is due to early pregnancy knackeredness and not a true reflection of managing three children as otherwise I am buggered!

Wispa I use chcocolate milk as a recovery drink after long runs. Perfect blend of carbs and protein for your muscles apparently. Health food.

spinningirl10 · 25/10/2013 13:14

Wispa have you had your scan yet, do you have a photo?

wispaxmas · 25/10/2013 13:14

I've been the same, ladies. I weighed myself for the first time since my wedding today, though, and I've gained some weight.. Bmi is 28 now, so expecting a lecture from the midwife in two weeks' time. Need to make sure I don't gain more than the recommended weight during this pregnancy, 15-25lbs for those with overweight bmi!

Another one here not eating at all healthily and feeling a bit sorry for myself. Had a horrible coughing virus for the last week or so and just feeling totally knackered and awful. Gave up yesterday and came home from work at lunch time and have been in bed pretty much ever since! had to get up to pick DS up from CM's and do his bed time and felt like I was going to faint all through his bed time stories.

Feel very short of breath and dizzy and really wobbly legged when I get up and walk. Anyone else feeling like this? Can't tell how much is pg and how much is virus.

Only things I fancy are Haribo, broccoli and ice cream. Unfortunately the only one of those we have in the house is Haribo.... sorry trick or treaters!

wispaxmas · 25/10/2013 13:24

Sorry spinning, missed your question. On the train to charing x, should have a photo in about an hour or so. Not sure how i can post it from the app, though. Might have to upload it somewhere and link? I'll figure it out. Unless no one wants to see...?

Also mean to add my tummy feels quite tight? is that normal? don't remember that with DS?

jaykay987 · 25/10/2013 13:36

not see? are you mad wispa??!!!

good luck!

spinningirl10 · 25/10/2013 13:37

Oooh Wispa we deffo want to see a picture :)

Nosey Hope you're feeling better soon.....I'm feeling quite light headed but my blood pressure is often a bit low so I'm wondering if it's that. Infact I might phone doc and see if they'll check it for me as Im not seeing my midwife until Nov 19th.

4w :)

MarlenaGru · 25/10/2013 13:37

Mine feels tight too. Almost like contractions sometimes. Very odd!

MTMD · 25/10/2013 13:45

Chocolate milk is good because milk contains iodine which is good for baby's brain, intelligence, etc :)

noseymcposey · 25/10/2013 13:46

yes Marlena it's like that. It's so uncomfortable! combined with the immense bloating I'm wondering if one of my mammoth sleeps was actually for 8 months and I'm about to meet the baby!!

GillyBillyWilly · 25/10/2013 13:50

Wispa I want to see!!! Smile

Penguin13 · 25/10/2013 14:00

So today I am not feeling tired at all, no queasiness, no sore boobs and on a relatively even keel emotionally and instead of enjoying it all I can think is 'why have my symptoms disappeared? I'm 9+1 so trying to stay positive and remember that hormone levels tend to plateau every so often. Anyone else find their symptoms tailed off a bit around 9 weeks?

Good to hear some positive news from you PJen. Good luck for Monday!

Great news about your early scan samovar, I bet the joy of hearing a little heartbeat was amazing.

LadyGoneGaga · 25/10/2013 14:11

I think sometimes you can start to feel better when the placenta starts taking over hormone production, Penguin so hopefully it's just that.

noseymcposey · 25/10/2013 14:29

Penguin - when I was pg with DS my symptoms came and went like that - I started several worried threads under a previous username as it made me very anxious at the time. I really wouldn't worry as they will probably be back in a few days :)

VickyVix · 25/10/2013 15:32

Yey, post us a pic wispa Grin

GillyBillyWilly · 25/10/2013 15:41

Ahhh it works, I can see it!

It must have been lovely to know that all is well.

Are you pleased you had the early scan?

Did you like the house?

LadyGoneGaga · 25/10/2013 17:52
