New thread for our little junebugs!

I've been waking up with constant headaches too and also this morning had a really sore throat! I remember with my ds getting a horrible chest infection, hoping not to be as unwell this time.
I'm so excited to have a June due date my other 2 are April & October, so will be nice that it's a but warmer (I'm in Scotland so always optimistic that it will be warmer!)
It's nice to speak about being pregnant as we've not told anyone yet just want to fast forward time to know that everything's ok

Eliza - sorry to hear about your Gran......I am glad you got to tell her your news.

Same here clutter - haven't told anyone (except the dentist!) and really want to but also want to wait for a few more weeks (am 6 weeks today).

I think it would be nice for my DS (aged 3) to announce it to both families, however that means waiting a bit longer as we don't want to tell him yet as its still very early.

My brother and his wife found out that they are having a girl yesterday (due March). Was rather surreal talking to him all about it on the phone but not telling him my news. Glad in a way that we're waiting so we don't feel like we're stepping on their toes.

Got BFP yesterday. Probably due around 22nd June although DD2 was 11 days overdue in the end so maybe july baby.
Age 35 with 2 DDs (5yrs10months & 2 years1month).
Fingers crossed for everyone. Such an anxious part of pregnancy.

Hello to everyone esle & the newbies..... I'm finding it hard to keep track of this thread now.

That's a really nice idea clever, I would like to do that with my 4 year old ds but at the moment if we broach the subject of babies he says "yuck, babies are horrible" when I ask if he would like to be a special big brother he says he had a big sister and doesn't want a baby, still, plenty time to win him round!
Sounds like very surreal conversation with your brother, you must have been bursting to say 'me too!'

I really want to tell my mum but I know dh will want to tell his then and they are staying with sil and bil so then everyone will know and I am not even 5 weeks yet. Everyone wille so shocked nervous face

I've told my parents and DH only. And you guys of course :) I'm not planning to tell the rest of my family till my 12 week scan.... However I'm sure that people will guess soon as I'm soooo bloated and look around 5 months pregnant! It's getting difficult to hide it at work. Are any second time mums experiencing this?

Our dates are really similar, my edd is 18th at the moment :)

We have told our parents, grannies and 2 very close friends. I might tell some other friends next week.

We arrived in Portugal yesterday and I'm finding it very difficult not to tell my aunts and cousins (it means around 20 people )

it's the same as Ds. DH wants to tell everyone and he doesn't understand why we don't say. I have told him I'm afraid something is oe will go wrong. He simply said: if there's something wrong why do you have to suffer alone? fair point

Due to me being off sick, everyone at work guessed I was pregnant again as was the same with ds and also because I already have a little belly and did from 4 weeks-eek, slightly scared its twins!! So haven't been able to keep it quiet at all!

Especially those who have had similar situations ohcluttergotme MrsGasMan MTMD - it is comforting to hear those. It has really made me question when we tell my family; we were going to wait but would it be comforting for them to know now, but then it's so early if it doesn't last it would be more trauma?

Sorry I haven't been round much, pregnancy exhaustion has hit me like a ton of bricks. I've also felt very, very sick (but I am never actually sick which is annoying to be honest!)

Moon I'm the same, I've had some retching and lots of nausea but haven't actually thrown up.

Got my prescription for the higher dosage of folic acid, though I had to explain to the GP why and when it is recommended - shouldn't she know? breathe

Sorry not really posting much at the moment, I'm trying to stop thinking about being pregnant all the time in the hope that time will go quicker. I'm also still feeling worried that something may go wrong. I don't have massively strong symptoms and they seem to come and go. When they go I start worrying ... arrrghhh this is going to be a long wait til that scan, I'm 6+4 today.
