Just starting off the new thread! Let's hope this brings us lots of new babies :)

Thanks Rodeo, just having a break from artfully arranging party rings on plates. Bit bizarre really as I'm contracting on and off all the time. Hopefully it will just be the 4 of us for an understated bday tea and not loads of freinds/family dropping by. Have promised him a proper party in a few weeks time...so come on baby, time you made an appearance!

adelaide - don't worry baby will come soon. Bear in mind that the dates you are given are never accurate, my little boy was due on the 8th June and didn't come until the 23rd, and even then he wasn't ready to come out. when he finally arrived they said he didn't look like he was 42 wks, and maybe my dates were wrong because he was a big baby.
Your baby will come when its ready, and your body will look after it. Don't be scared, what scares you?

Pain, Diddle, and worry that things may go wrong and LO may not be ok. Actually i'm feeling a lot calmer now, I think it was part of that restless/anxious thing that labour brings. Thanks for your kind words though, it is good to remind myself that my body will do the right thing.

Adelaide, hope you've had a nice birthday tea Ours was quiet too. Had dd2 nearly 9 months ago and it has gone so quickly, not a yummy scrunched up newborn anymore! Will look out for you in the birth announcements - Good luck and best wishes x x x

laura, sorry this post is late, but...congratulations!! hope you are enjoying your time with baby william, sorry to hear you had a long labour though..ouch!
