Hi all,

Sorry for delay in posting.

I had my planned c-section on 1st June and Esmae Georgia was born 3:07pm weighing a whopping 7lb 15+1/2oz! We came home Sunday andI can't believe how well I feel. Esmae is doing well and weighed in at 8lb 3oz today so she's obviously feeding ok, could have guessed by my Fcup boobs tho!!

waswondering congratulations on your little girl, beautiful name. Hope all went well for you.

Will post again soon when I have a bit more time.

Good luck, hope you are all doing well.

Birth announcement

Hello all, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth - I've had a baby (actually, dropping off the face of the earth would have been easier)!!

Our daughter Iona Lily was born on Sunday 4th June at 8:46pm weighing in at 6lb 6oz.

Check out the birth announcement thread for all the grizzly details! (Not for the faint-hearted)

Hope you are all doing well.

blobsmummy: congratulations firstly, love the name v.unique, i fink to an extent women get forgotten when theres a baby involved, never mind the hard work what you just done to bring that baby into the world, all that matters is the baby or so it seems, well people like me are there to support you, dont get me wrong fantastic news you have a healthy bundle but you need some tlc now. and im sure the way you feel at the moment about her is just temporary and absolutely normal, i havent got any children yet only the one who doesnt want to be born, but i have experience in these sort of feelings please keep me informed about how your feeling and of course the beautiful......iona lily. x x x

I assume by the lack of postings that everyone is busy having babies - good luck everyone!

Blobsmummy - we're all posting on a \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=2290&threadid=180448&stamp=060615213412\new thread }:)

I think there's a postnatal thread too, but not sure how busy it is yet. I can't officially post on there for the moment!
