Thought I would start the thread.

HC Sorry that our MIL is like that. I guess theres not much you can do apart from telling DH to stick up fo you. My Mil is ok but has her odd ways. She was against me bfing and was determined with DD that she would be dressed in pink frilly dresses. Soon put a stop to all that and I just used to ignore her comments.

The kicks argetting a lot stronger now. They are still fairly low down and sometimes in my bladder.

Im glad im not the only one breaking wind like a trooper. Im almost afraid to bend over in work Blush

Im hoping to go back to work 3 1/2 possibly 4 days a week. Im going to put DD in nursery 2/3 mornings but mil will have both the rest of the time. Id love to do less but when I work out how much id lose its shocking and weve just extended our morgage for the extension. The other option ive got is to work in the call centre and do shifts but I dont fancy the weekend shifts. Im too frightened to tell my mnagaer yet.

Hi Jane, welcome to the July thread. Getting a bit uncomfortable in the groin but not painful, but bowlegged as anything, esp when I've just got up from bed/chair etc. Seems to sort itself out if I amble about slowly (not something I'm used to doing :)).

Bub has been wriggling about all over the place. Last night I was down on all fours in the living room waving my bum around trying to get comfortable. DH thought his luck was in Grin. We have our first NCT antenatal on Wednesday and I've been offered classes at my healthcentre in May - trouble is I can only make 2 out of the 4 due to holiday/work. Might see if I can get onto the July one to catch the ones I missed (if I haven't popped by then!). Talking of holiday, am heading off to Cornwall on Saturday for a v long weekend/short week. Can't wait! Then next Friday we have work awayday - we're going canoeing & gorgewalking Shock. The organisers do know I'm 6 months pg, so may do a bit of sitting out on a boulder!

Hello again usandbump, nice to hear from you :)

pinkdolly · 24/04/2006 19:33

Hi everyone,
Not been on for a bit, been spending lots of time in my garden which is coming on quite nicely.

Jersey- am sorry to hear about your ordeal, but glad it's sorted for you now.

Jane- Welcome to the thread. I am 27 weeks and suffer with the pain that you describe. It's awful first thing in the morning, hobbeling out of the bed. My dd2 aged 2 1/2 ran into me at the weekend and her hard head hit me right in my pubic bone. It hurt alot! I suffer with spd, that might be your problem too, ask the midwife next time you see her.

Well, my pains are getting me down again, been doing hydrotherapy for a couple of weeks. It's nice to be able to move around but it knackers me out.

Dh and I finally settled on our lo's name, Jasmine Hope. Which I think is lovely. Especially seen as I seem to have a craving for gardening this pg. I keep watching uk style gardens and reading loadsa magazines. Dh thought I was mad to start off with, but even he is starting to enjoy it.

Anyway better go put the girls to bed. Hope you are all enjoying your pg.

Welcome to JaneOT :) I am due on the 27th July. I too have a tattoo over my belly button I got when I was 18! Luckily I didn't get stretchmarks on my belly apart from one through the tattoo! it isn't too noticable though. And before you think I'm lucky - you should see the stretchmarks on my hips, they are terrible! I wonder if I will get any this time...

Wallace · 24/04/2006 19:55

pinkdolly- that is a lovely name :)

maewest - enjoy your activities! A close friend is having her hen night in June and wants us to do an activity like quad biking or pole dancing Shock

Shall we start a new thread? This one is very long

Hello to you all. Im due on 27th July with my second baby, I have ds already who will just be 2 when this one is born.
If its a girl we have decided on the name Annie Delilah and if its a boy then either Gabriel or Flynn.

Wallace · 24/04/2006 21:14

Welcome malachismum - you are due the same day as me :)

This is my third - I have a ds who is 6 and a dd who is 5.

I like the names you have chosen. We have chosen Daisy May for a girl, but have no idea about boys names yet.

HumphreysCorner · 24/04/2006 21:45

Evening ladies

How are we all. Is anyone else dying of heat exhaustion permanently? Also I am at the stage where I feel like I am laying on broken ribs in bed. It has all come flooding back from last time. Why oh why am I going through this again???

I am deffo an 'innie' and was last time. Have my linea nigra now as well. Just done loo roll test and now 9 3/4 Shock-will no doubt be up to 10 this time next week.

A big welcome to janeOT and malachismum-have added you both to the list but as we haven't done a list for ages I don't know how up to date it is.

jane-I never met anyone at antenatal classes as nobody spoke to anyone else-bores! Also haven't met any mums through taking DD to nursery as it is always grandads and dads collecting children. Hope you have better luck than me!

pinkdolly-I love the name you have chosen. I want Sophie Isobel but as our surname begins with C the initials will be SIC which doesn't bother me but DH protesting about it.

Morning, welcome to the newcomers. Just trying to rearrange my midwife appointment which was tomorrow to next week as I am on a course tomorrow, well team building thing. I thought it was today when originally booking the appointment.

Love the names! I think we have finally agreed on Ryan Colin.

I've updated my info. HC.

Birthday the day before bump arrives so I will be 35 years young!!

Love to all

pinkdolly · 25/04/2006 09:18

Morning ladies,

welcome to malachismum

HC- I love the name Sophie Isobel, my DD2 is Sophie Lauren (so bit biased), I wouldn't be bothered about the initials. But I do know how difficult dh's can be sometimes. Mine was awful trying to settle on a name.

When DD2 was born my MIL tried in vain to get us to change her name because she said it was too like Sophia Loren (and the point is!)

Well it's raining today, so it doesn't look like i'll be doing much in the garden today. Probably a good thing as I had to go to bed early last night coz of the pain I was in. (I am very stubborn and dont like to admit when I cant do things).

Well, I hope you all have good day.

Wallace, I second your motion for a new thread, this one is getting a tad long!
