GT it's the cabriofix. Not sure about a high chair. Can they sit up at that stage? I know nothing.

izzy fab! We went for the black frame with black material. We don't know what we are having either and would have gone for the Denny red had it had the black frame. I loved the pink actually. I am not a girly girl at all but the pink was cool.

mrs your journey sounds harsh! I know i will be much more patient with other people's toddlers from now on. I never really understood tantrums before but I am certainly getting a taster. You are home now and it is all over.

cacacaz it is great you and DH had such a lovely time away. Sounds like just what you needed.

My little lambs arrive tomorrow - I am unfeasibley excited.

I am totally knackered tonight. I have done so little today I cannot imagine why.

GTbaby · 30/07/2012 23:31

I was actually wondering cacacaz if it was a weird request to ask for a 'space' for pram or if i was being OTT asking for table away from dance floor.
think i will just request and if they do it then cool and they cant complain as they shouldn't have asked for special requests lol!

apple we also have a name for baby, but dont want to tell anyone yet incase we change our minds! or if the gender is wrong lol

cant be bothered to eat, but am hungry So went to scavenge in the kitchen and found a packet of biscuits. now have the starts of heart burn. not fair!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 31/07/2012 06:31

apple have you thought of park and ride ( obviously I am not sure if that is what you are referring to in your post) anyway, there is one at Windsor Great Park and one at Braywick Park in Maidenhead. Although I am. It sure which way you are coming from, mic it is the north west or west those would work quite well.

Xx

horseylady · 31/07/2012 06:44

Exhausted from yesterday ( yes xc whoever asked!!) still no voice, hacking cough and blocked nose. About to attempt work but should I try to get in at the drs (only going into work as been on holiday last two weeks so would look dodgy calling sick!).

I don't know what to do? I never get colds or coughs? I dont want the baby to suffer either :( I just don't do being sick !

rowingdowntheriver · 31/07/2012 07:01

Hi apple, what is it you are seeing at the Olympics? If it is the tennis then I live very close to the venue so you can always use one of my visitors permits and park outside my house for the day?!

Argh, today I have got such a grump on today. Stress stress stress for no reason at all. Bloody hormones.

ValiumQueen · 31/07/2012 07:26

horsey go to the doctor. I am sure that is what your colleagues would say. So what if you have just had hols? You are pregnant so it is not just you, and everyone understands that.

Iheartpasties · 31/07/2012 07:26

Sorry to hear that others are having actually stressful times - redundancies and pains etc not too good.

Have fun if you are off to the olympics though! I have got the tv on and trying to watch some.

So far Australia is doing too well with medals etc.

MissMummy1 · 31/07/2012 08:06

DH just felt junior kick for the first time ever!! Having an anterior placenta has made any form of movement quite dull and low, but this morning s/he gave us both an almighty kick. His reaction was so sweet - his whole face lit up as he stammered 'was that...' I think it's finally dawned on him that it's not all cake in there!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 31/07/2012 08:32

24 weeks today! Another little milestone reached :)

The kicks are amazing to watch now, they really make u whole belly move and I can feel her little back pushing out too, cute!

applepieinthesky · 31/07/2012 08:37

That's a very kind offer rowing but we are trying to get to the Greenwich Arena for the gymnastics. Travelling from Suffolk so the park and ride is no good either sophia. That would have been perfect. I expect we will drive as close to East London as we can, park up and fight our way onto the underground. Or perhaps a bus would be better. But not being from London I haven't got a clue which one to get.

capedcrusader25 · 31/07/2012 08:41

Sorry to hear about everyone's rubbishness :( I'm finding this hard as it is without any extra hassle. Very Envy today as two friends have gone on holiday, one to Tenerife and one to India which is one of my fave places. Although she has gone with the man she was due to marry Saturday just gone so don't envy her that much! This is the first time in many years I won't be going away anywhere, so I hope this rain isn't here to stay!
Hope everyone is doing ok, I don't post a lot but I do find it really comforting to read the thread and know I'm not alone or going mad.

horseylady · 31/07/2012 08:46

Apple trains were fab yesterday if it's any help! We were at grenwich park.

Iheartpasties · 31/07/2012 08:50

capedcrusader did your friend marry him? or not? sorry being nosey :)

ValiumQueen · 31/07/2012 09:19

I am guessing not caped from your post. Hmm. Not something I would like to do.

Chunkychicken · 31/07/2012 09:52

Apple prob far to late, but how about getting a train to st pancras, using your free travelcard to use the javelin high speed to Stratford, getting on the DLR to Greenwich??!! I would definitely, definitely NOT drive anywhere near London personally, but then we live close enough to get fantastic train service. We used the high speed to Stratford yesterday, cost us £60 for our 2 returns Shock but it took us less than an hour from our house to getting inside the Olympic park so good stuff Grin

Chunkychicken · 31/07/2012 09:56

Oh and only briefly skimmed but saw your shit time at work Stunt. Sorry about that - hope it works out for the best, whether that's one one of the other posts or a dream job that comes up when you're on maternity leave... Good luck.

capedcrusader25 · 31/07/2012 10:23

No she didn't marry him Confused He was originally going on the 'honeymoon' alone but she decided last week she wanted to go as well. Really bizarre situation! They were together 10 years and so happy...and then they just weren't. That's life I suppose!

lane my DH was the one who wanted a PnT. Must be a man thing. I have a red cocoon though. Mine will be for in the car and trips from there. I have a side by side for trips from home, school run etc. I have high steps to go down and was not happy bumping a PnT down with both kids in. It will be fab for shopping malls etc, and safari park, which is what we tend to do on our family days out, and of course camping. Although this one will not be camping at 6 weeks.

DesperateHousewife21 · 31/07/2012 11:21

missmummy and anyone else interested this is the double buggy I'm getting. Cheap and cheerful!

daisychain76 · 31/07/2012 11:22

Sorry to hear your news stunt and lane and mrswee sorry you had such a bad day yesterday. My dd went through a phase a bit like that and it seemed endless (and I wasn't pregnant) but she did come through it and is getting more and more sunny tempered. My MiL reckons if they are good as toddlers they turn into awful teens, so you can't win!

Glad I am not the only one excited about getting delivery of nappies. I have actually had really long, detailed dreams about reusable nappies the last 2 nights, which is quite worrying (DH tells me he doesn't want to hear anything else about them, ever!). Next on my list is a sling - I think I want a caboo but there are no stockists near me to go and have a try and not sure whether to risk buying it before trying.

A bit stressed today as it is DS's party in just under 2 weeks and only heard back from 3 people from school (2 of whom can't come) all of whom told me in person. Still not heard from 13! Really worried I may have put the wrong mobile no. on the rsvp bit of the invites.

DesperateHousewife21 · 31/07/2012 11:24

Oh great looks like its gone up £30 too, brill.

MissMummy1 · 31/07/2012 11:31

Ah thanks dh21 i think i picked you up wrong. Didnt realise it was a double! This is our first so we only need a single. I already have a travel system just want something smaller and lighter to keep in the car and for my mum to use. It looks great though!
