Hiya,
Thought I would start a thread as I couldn't seem to find one
I had a BFP yesterday - which by my estimations makes lo#2 due early November! I already have a ds who is 15 months (14/11/04) and my BFP with him was 2 days earlier than this one, how strange is that?
Anyway, looking forward to getting to know anyone that joins this thread and wishing everybody a happy healthy pg

Have been feeling shocking since last Thursday and like Spinach, having to force myself to eat. I went to see the Doctor yesterday who has prescribed me some tablets that are perfectly safe to take and today although not quite myself I am feeling alot better. I am a little confused as was never sick at all with my first pregnancy.

spinach · 21/03/2006 17:34

pink magic, what are they? are you throwing up or just feel sick? or are the pills for exhaustion. I'm seeing my GP tomorrow and am gonna beg for help. I had sickness and tiredness last preg but not this bad.

Cece, how are you?

mygirllolipop · 21/03/2006 17:37

pinkmagic - they say evevy pg and baby is diff!
Stacey - me and DH were the same as you last baby. We got married, graduated from uni, conceived DD3 (on the same day), then moved 200 miles away within 7 months. DD1&2 started new schools, I had to change Drs and hosps, DH started new job (reason for move) but TBH it was all fine.
Dr's 2moro.

fatbetty · 21/03/2006 17:45

A friend of mine was given medication to help with her morning sickness - but then again, she was in the States and they will hand out anything. But if you are feeling really bad I would push for it. I wish I had something when pg with ds2.

cece · 21/03/2006 20:08

mygirllolipop and stacey

In the next month and half we are due:
dh on jury service, I have nuchal scan and booking app (or otherwise Sad) dd has a follow up hospital app, we have to complete on a house and move! This is the second house move in 6 months and feel exhausted just thinking about it!

MeAndMyBoy · 21/03/2006 20:10

Cece I'm sorry you've had a rough day, I hope that your scan gives you some good news on friday.

sorry so many are feeling sick. Me too :(. Eating does help but I really really don't feel like it. Evenings are worst for me and trying to cook tea is ugh!!

Starting to get a bit of a tummy as well. My work trousers are getting tight. So I've started having to look at maternity clothes. They are all so boring though.

cece · 21/03/2006 20:10

spinach - not too bad, not much happening down below but feeling near to tears most of the time. It is not knowing that is so awful. I know this little beanie was an accident but kind of got used to the idea of having him/her now Sad

how are you today - hopefully the doc can offer some help for you.

cece · 21/03/2006 20:14

meandmyboy

spinach · 21/03/2006 20:23

MeAndMyBoy · 21/03/2006 20:28

Mummy2Toby · 21/03/2006 21:35

Hi everyone,
I wasn't about all day yesterday .... I was sooo rough, I was sick on the hour every hour and poor ds was left to his own devices while I was occupying the toilet Sad I was sick a couple of times in last pg but nothing like this .... I waited for dh to get home and then I went straight to bed! I couldn't even drink water I felt so bad and I woke up this morning feeling no better, worse in fact as I have wrenched my back and stomach from all the reaching sorry if TMI. I feel really rough - am sort of hoping that I have a bug because I can't face another month or so of this, but also sort of hoping that it might mean this is a pink one Grin ... sorry I did mean to catch up properly but must rush to the loo again - catch up later and love to everybody

Mum2Toby, are you sure this isn't the virus that's doing the rounds just now, with constant vomiting for 48 hours plus? It's moved into SW England well and truly now, and i think it's also gone NW and NE. Have had private dating scan, confirmed est. date of November 8th as Nov. 10th. Good old Persona. Work clothes getting tight too, but I think it's to do with NOT following the 'best-odds diet'.

MeAndMyBoy · 22/03/2006 08:31

Oh m2t fingers crossed that it is a bug and not MS.

fatbetty · 22/03/2006 09:46

Sorry to hear that you are so poorly M2T. Hope it is just a bug for you and won't last very long. Just try to keep drinking water to keep yourself hydrated!!

I've just been SOOO tired and unmotivated to do anything. I have to really push myself to get out of the house with the kids. And now I find I'm getting really depressed and it's so hard pulling myself out of it. I'm putting this down to the pg as my hormones must be going crazy. Anyone else feel this way?

MeAndMyBoy · 22/03/2006 10:28

Oh fatbetty that is not a nice way to feel :(. I'm not suffering at the moment but did have PND for nearly 2yrs after DS was born so sympathise completely it's a horrible way to feel. Everything is such an effort isn't it.

I guess you are taking supplements of some sort? I have been told that Vit B6 is good for helping balance hormones - omega 3 as well. But there is a limit to how much omega 3 to take in pg and I need to find out as I need to start to protect myself against pnd again this time.

mygirllolipop · 22/03/2006 10:30

Betty - yeah I'm feeling pretty unmotivated, saying that I've been to Dr's (to fill out all the forms that I needed another appointment yeah right he wrote my name and address!), tried to cash a cheque (only to find tsb opens at 10 on weds) and purchase a new vacuum belt (only to find the market wasn't open yet) so gonna have to do those things again beore gymbabes then to hosp to see dh on his dinner (and grab some for myself as can't be bothered to cook), then to get DD's from school.
Well the morning nausea has turned into MS this am - great! I'm only 6+2!

fatbetty · 22/03/2006 10:47

I was taking some supplements but when I went to the docs they suggested that I stop all that I just take the prenatal vitamins. I wasn't really taking all that much so I don't think it could have that much of a side effect from stopping them. Maybe I should go and get some vit b6.
