Hiya,
Thought I would start a thread as I couldn't seem to find one
I had a BFP yesterday - which by my estimations makes lo#2 due early November! I already have a ds who is 15 months (14/11/04) and my BFP with him was 2 days earlier than this one, how strange is that?
Anyway, looking forward to getting to know anyone that joins this thread and wishing everybody a happy healthy pg

I'm only about 5+3 but have been feeling really dizzy and whoozy, especially when I have just lifted a very heavy ds - never felt like that in my life.
Anyone else get it. Do you know why?

When pg with ds I had cramp lots and nosebleeds.

spinach · 20/03/2006 16:48

yeah i get that megg... its normal, just your body adjusting to changes in bloodflow etc and acommodating the pregnancy. take it easy and dont overdo it.

meggmoo · 20/03/2006 16:51

Good to hear I'm not going down with the pox.
Thanks Spinach.

spinach · 20/03/2006 16:53

no worries, my first pregnancy was a breeze compared to this, and i thought i felt rough then.

cece · 20/03/2006 16:55

molly - an extra big congrats, you must be over the moon....

Hattie05 · 20/03/2006 17:26

Hi, congratulations to everybody!

I am having trouble keeping up with this thread! Smile. Must pop in more often.

Is anyone else getting weird feelings in their stomach? They are not craps but sort of stretching and as though someone is scraping a nail inside me. (the kind of feelings i had at about 6mths pg last time with uterus stretching etc.) I also had a few pains going down my legs this afternoon.
Its making me feel quite feeble, i am trying to avoid lifting dd as that seems to make it worse. Just had to get her in and out of carseat and it really made me ache!

I don't remember anything like this first time round, could it be 2nd pg type of thing? I am seeing doc on Wed, so will let him know.

Thanks in advance x

needsomeadvice · 20/03/2006 17:32

Shooting pians down legs? A traped nerve or sciatica no?

Hattie05 · 20/03/2006 17:34

Yeah i guess it could be, which i had really severely at the end of last pg. I hope this doesn't mean i'm going to suffer all the way through this time Sad.

Not sure its related to the strange tummy pains though.

fatbetty · 20/03/2006 19:49

Hattie05, I have had similar feelings that you mentioned in my stomach. I vaguely recall that happening with ds2, so trying to put it to that and not reading more into it. I think it's just your body changing to make room for the baby. Haven't had any pains down my legs but sometimes during the night I wake up and can't sleep because all my muscles in my body have this dull ache. I think that has something to do with caffeine or something that I ate.

But if you find out anything from your doc about the aches in your stomach left me know.

Hattie05 · 20/03/2006 21:13

Will do! As you say, its probably nothing to worry about but i find it strange. I remember at this stage last time thinking i didn't feel pg, this time i definitely know i am!

staceym11 · 21/03/2006 08:09

morning everyone, well soliciters came back and said if they approve mortgage this week we could move in next fri??? it all seems to be going a bit quick!!!!!!!!!!

feel better today, got some travel sickness bands and although they are a bit uncomfortable overnight i havnt had the sicky feeling i got yesterday!

gotta spend the day on buses which will be fun getting cheques to our soliciters and things, might take dd to see the new flat!

best go can only leave a child playing in her cot for so long!!!

hope everyone is ok!

fatbetty · 21/03/2006 09:06

Congratulations on your move staceym11! That's so exciting.

I used the travel sickness band with ds2 and remember them killing my wrists when I was holding ds1. I think I had indentations in my wrist from them for a while after taking them off.

With ds2 my morning sickness was awful, but I have to say that with this pregnancy I haven't felt too bad. But I am really tired!!! I also feel that I'm beginning to show which I never showed before until I was 14+weeks along. And I'm only 5 weeks now!

mygirllolipop · 21/03/2006 09:26

congrats molly! and welcome
Oh I feel sick again today, to the point where I was gagging and again looking for a place to be sick, how I wish for a downstairs toilet!
My asthma seems to be worse this time around although it never bothered me with other DD's til later when they were pressing on my lungs anyway! I think I'm getting symptoms earlier and earlier the more I have, well this is the last at #4! I too have been getting pains but that might be due to the fact dHa nd I have the runs Blush. I'm not showing yet, I started to show with DD1 at around 24 weeks, DD2 at 12 weeks, and with DD3 at about 11 weeks, so expecting to show at 10 weeks! I'm 6+1 today so 4 weeks of normal clothes, sigh.

cece · 21/03/2006 09:39

Hi everyone,
this morning I have started bleeding again and it has been red so not looking good. I have made an appointment at GPs for later so hoping she will send me for another scan...

awayfromhome · 21/03/2006 09:48

cece - I'm so sorry to hear your news - fingers crossed for you and I hope that you get sent for a scan soon.

mygirllolipop · 21/03/2006 10:00

Cece- sorry to hear, but it could still be the haematoma, I can't remember but I think my blood with the haematoma may have been red and I bled on and off for 4-6 weeks again I can't remember! Stay positive. I had about 3 early scans because of it.

cece · 21/03/2006 10:19

mygirllolipop

Thanks I am hoping it is linked to the haematoma. It seems to have eased off a bit now. Nothing on my pad or on the loo roll when I went.

It was mostly when I woke up, went to loo and a lump of red blood on toilet roll when I wiped and a steady amount since then (sorry if tmi)

CattyB · 21/03/2006 10:41

Cece sorry to hear things are up in the air again Sad. Thinking of you.

Special congratulations to Molly. You must be delighted. Wishing you a very safe and healthy pg Smile

Good luck with the new house stacey - don't know if you've told folks you're pg yet but great excuse not to move too much stuff yourself! I moved when expecting ds#2 - I went over to a friends house, she looked after ds#1 and her dp and a bunch of other male helpers shifted everything while I slept. The perfect house move!!

mygirllolipop · 21/03/2006 10:52

We moved 200 miles away from all our family when I was about 34 wks pg with DD3. We got all male helpers to shift this while lots of female helpers cleaned and I sat with the big two. It was stressful tho.

cece · 21/03/2006 11:09

We have just had an offer accepted on a house so should be moving by end of April... If all goes well that is. Moving to a new area so won't know anyone. Starting to panic about that!

CattyB · 21/03/2006 11:17

Congrats on the new house - understnd your apprehension but with dd and bump you will prob find that there are loads of activity groups where you will meet and make new friends. Your new HV and MW should be alble to point you in the right direction or you could book yourself into the NCT antenatal classes.

cece · 21/03/2006 11:19

I would feel embarassed going to NCT for 3rd when I didn't bother for 1 and 2 Blush

I am off to docs now - fingers crossed!

staceym11 · 21/03/2006 12:32

oh cece, i hope seeing the doc helps.

glad to hear its not just me moving, i thought we were mad! but house was planned before twinkle (dds name for baby) came along!!

i dont do things by halves, a move, wedding and new baby all in one year!!! jesus we'r gunna be busy and broke! lol

went to toddlers today which was good, dd had fun and is now sleeping which is lovely as she was a nightmare 1st thing this morning.

sickness bands are helping tho, have told dd i wont pick her up anymore as it hurts the baby in my tummy and she said ok, she still asks but not as much. the bands are a bit awkward on my wrists and felt horrible first thing this morning, but not even a sign of sickness, whereas yesterday without them i felt like gagging, hmmmm. think il put up with the awkwardness and stay away from the sickness!!!!

cece · 21/03/2006 12:37

Doc has booked me in for a scan on Friday morning so will have to see. She said it oculd be the heamatoma or it oculd be something else but a scan should shed more light on it.

Yes we are buying a 3 bed house for some strange reason!? As if this one does make it we need 4 beds! LOL. Although there is a 4th bed/extra reception downstairs in an annexe. So dhh an dI might move down there once th elo are bigger! Currently in a rented house so getting excited about having our own place again!

staceym11 · 21/03/2006 12:42

well me and dp live with my parents atm so getting our own place will be brill! we'r doing a part buy part rent sceme as we have no where near enough income to get a mortgage for a whole property, they are so bloody expensive!!!!
