Hiya,
Thought I would start a thread as I couldn't seem to find one
I had a BFP yesterday - which by my estimations makes lo#2 due early November! I already have a ds who is 15 months (14/11/04) and my BFP with him was 2 days earlier than this one, how strange is that?
Anyway, looking forward to getting to know anyone that joins this thread and wishing everybody a happy healthy pg

yay spinach - that's great news. And it's better that they are careful and keep looking after you, and probably better for your morale too

cece · 10/03/2006 16:21

Great news spinach, you must be so relieved.

CattyB - she has been on semi skimmed milk since she was 2, so about 3 years..... In fact the odc did tell me she was only allowed one cup of milk a day and nop apple juice. She is not happy as they were her two favourite drinks!!!!

mower · 10/03/2006 19:21

I'm feeling ok thanks spinach. Been feeling a little sick today and feel tired, but still not allowing myself to think about being pregnant! Can't wait for my scan a week on monday, prehaps i'll feel different then.

Where they able to predict how far along you were from your scan. Don't think I am as far along as you maybe, only had two periods since ds was born so not easy to tell when ovalated.

spinach · 10/03/2006 19:32

I'm only 5 weeks, i know when i ov and last period etc so easy for me. Your due before me i think, I'm due 10th Nov. Did they tell you what you hcg level was btw?

spinach · 10/03/2006 19:34

you should be able to see all that you need to from the scan by then, including a heartbeat. then you'll def feel pregnant. so glad you're ok

cece · 10/03/2006 19:35

I think I felt when the egg reached the womb sort of thing. lasted for about an hour or two on 10th Feb.... while at work....... who knows??? maybe it was or maybe not??

mower · 10/03/2006 19:46

My hcg on wednesday was 1900 so it had nearly tripled. How long ago was your c-section? So glad you are ok too.

spinach · 10/03/2006 19:57

how do you know i had a csection?

mower · 10/03/2006 20:01

It says on the stats that you will prob have c-section a week earlier, so guess you have had one before. I may be in the same boat too would like to have a vbac but c section was only 5 months ago.

spinach · 10/03/2006 20:04

yeah, i had one 2.5 years ago and will have another. You're brave! I was told not to get pregnant within a year of the cs

spinach · 10/03/2006 20:30

hope i havent scared you off mower, sure it will be fine. off for a rest now, still feel crappy.

MeAndMyBoy · 10/03/2006 20:41

Hi

Welcome and congrats to stacey and brodiesmummy. Feel free to add your stats to the list or I'll try and do it over the next couple of days.

So pleased for you both spinach and mower, fantastic news.

I'm not sure who else said about the feeling cold but I am too, freezing and I hadn't put it down to being pg.

I'm beginning to wonder about going and seeing the doc's sooner cause there's been mentioned a couple of times various tests need doing at 10 weeks. Ummm.

Any way take care hope everyone is doing ok and fingers crossed for a reasonable nights sleeps.

Debbsy · 10/03/2006 22:15

Mower and Spinach so glad your both alright.

awayfromhome · 11/03/2006 03:58

Congratulations to staceym11 and brodiesmummy. Also really pleased to hear the goods news spinach and mower.

mower · 11/03/2006 08:08

Thank you everyone for your good wishes! Hope everyone else is ok and not feeling too sick, in some ways it is quite nice though as it makes you feel every thing is ok.

I didn't expect to fall pregnant so soon, as still bf and af's hadn't returned properly didn't think it would happen. My gp said that I will be ok having had a c section so soon, not very much I can do about it but grin and bear it, tbh havent even thought the scar and stuff yet as had such a scare so early on, so no doubt i'll be worrying over that next! Does anyone know of anyone whos had a c-section so soon?

Spinach hope you are feeling better today, just think of it as the baby telling you everything is ok.

spinach · 11/03/2006 11:18

thanks everyone for your messages. Hi mower, I'm feeling ok, just exhausted, and sick, like you say i dont mind the sickness, its a good sign so I'm happy. I worked out my levels again and actually they quadrupled! going back again in the morning to have bloods done again, at this rate i'll run out of the stuff! Hope you're well mower.

AussieinLondon · 11/03/2006 13:22

hi all. sorry I haven't posted for a while, but have not had access to computer. Welcome to all the new due Novembers! Stats are great - was very nice to catch up on everyone's news. I am just starting to feel nauseous and so, so tired (hit 6 weeks on Sunday). And SO grumpy! I also start back at work Monday from my maternity leave with DD so hoping the sickness and tiredness is not too obvious - slightly embarrassing to go back to work pregnant already!!! I'm convinced my belly is already protruding too so I don't think I'll be able to hide this one for too long. Hope everyone is feeling well.

mygirllolipop · 11/03/2006 15:03

Sorry brodiesmum, I must have missed your post - welcome
More nausea, hunger and back pain for me today!

CattyB · 11/03/2006 15:25

Good to hear your news and to know that everyone one is ok esp mower and spinach.

Had a fairly good nights sleep and would have been even better if dh hadn't come home after a few too many beers at 2pm (local beer festival) and then got up and pee'd on the carpet at 3am Angry. Love him dearly but sometimes men are crap!

Love being pg as it means eating more of what you want and less of eating to stay thin. Had a great brekkie of white rolls filled with tattie scone and fried egg. Something I would never usually let the kids eat but hey everything in moderation (and it does make a change from bran based cereal)!

Mummy2Toby · 11/03/2006 23:38

Hi everyone and welcome to all the newcomers Smile
I am not feeling so tired now, but I think that is because I have been trying to nap when ds napsBlush No housework for me at the mo!
I am showing already! I am only 7 weeks today (I think) I went out with my Mum yesterday and she said she thought it was twins Shock I don't think so, my body has just streched quicker this time because it is only 15mths since ds arrived.
Anyway must go but hope all of you are well and congratulations to all those with rising HGC levels Grin
