Hello all on part five! Amazing journey so far, no?!
So, MIL ruby wedding stuff went ok if epic as expected and a lot of talking/driving about all over Lake District. And my fab baking hardly got eatne, so not clear why I bothered/was asked to make things... Never mind, tis done now and feel my duty has been met for a bit. I hope.
Yes yes to waking up early (today 0530) or earlier due to acid reflux/crazy thoughts/uncomfy. Am currently chilling out catching up on Jubilee stuff that I sadly missed at the weekend due to trip.
Ham, this is exactly what I worry about too, esp MIL being like she is. I ONLY want DH and DMum there, and want PIL to arrive much later on once I've showered, rested, had some time with BabyMiggins etc. DH can get very sensitive about his parents and I don't want to upset him, much but I do feel that I've got right of way on this!! I don't want to feel bombarded by them, but understand too that they want to see their new grandson. It needs to be handled with a lot of diplomacy, tact and a rod of iron
Bought a couple more bits and bobs for hospital bag today and will get packing later this week I think so I can tick something else off the list. Want also to make some further inroads into nursery.
Feeling big, heavy and fat with vast cankles all the time. But oddly love seeing my bump, though I do often still do a double-take when I pass myself in a shop window, as it's still a surprise!!
Sorry for long post, but it is nice to be home again and online! Happy holiday all x
