Hello all, just a quickie....Ava was born at 2.06am this morning at home as planned, she's a beautie, just like dd1. 7lb 14oz quickish labour will post all in birth announcement later. On April fools day! can't believe it!

Cadmum · 01/04/2006 21:16

Yeah Helencook! I am so pleased that it all worked out in the end! Welcome to little Ava!

Frizbe · 02/04/2006 16:48

well done Grin helen cook, congrats to you all

Has anyone heard from Jackstini?

Jackstini · 02/04/2006 18:21

Hi Friz
Yes I am finally here back at home & on line having had emergency c-section on Thurs
Have just posted birth announcement \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?rn=90313&topicid=1370&threadid=160966&redir=90313\here} for those that want the gory details.
May take me a while to catch up with everyone else that has popped in the meantime and the post natal thread but will post more soon Smile

Klara · 03/04/2006 11:46

Well done everyone - are we all done now or is anyone still waiting. Sorry it's taken me so long to post my aanouncement - Hector was born last Monday at 5.45 am after a relatively quick (9 hour labour). All OK, but being as I am in the Netherlands I was told that "You don't need an epidural", so I had to do it drug free (they don't offer gas and air)......not something one does for fun but the end result is worth it....
weight was 7lb (3.4kg)....

good luck everyone - hope you all have easy happy babies that like to sleep at night!

klara

Frizbe · 03/04/2006 12:50

Grin congrats to Jackstini and Klara, see you on the other thread soon!

helencook2711 · 03/04/2006 16:37

romilly · 04/04/2006 16:59

manicmumtobe · 08/04/2006 20:27

hi everyone and big congrats to Jackstini, Laundrylover, and Helen c!!! I too have finally popped on the 2nd april, Patrick arrived weighing 6.4 and I am even breatfeeding!!! Chuffed I avoided the dreaded sweep scheduled for the next day! But hey, think it would have paled into insignificance after having a natural birth with gas and air and the max pethadine!! Knew it would hurt but boy, big respect to anyone doing it without the drugs:)
See you all on post natal thread!!!

Frizbe · 09/04/2006 21:29

Congrats Manic! see you over there!

laundrylover · 11/04/2006 22:00

well done manic Smile. do come over to the other thread as it's all a bit quiet at the mo....
