I've just had the official confirmation from my digital clearblue test after many a faint line. I have calculated my due date as 5th December and conception started with a curry, how much information am I supposed to share? Boobs aren't sore yet, just a bit bigger. Have had a horrific cold/flu/sore throat for a week and I am very very irrational.

Anyone else out there?

Oh and my other 2 DC were 10 days early and 5 days early so i could actually be carrying a November baby - my birthday is the 29th so that would be weird!! :D

M0naLisa · 29/03/2012 10:41

Also i dont know if i have a 28/29/30 day cycle as my periods have only just settled down from having 2 periods per month. So i have calculated 2 dates 4th and 6th december.

purplehippopotamus · 29/03/2012 14:13

Hi, can I join in too? I got BFP on Monday, and did another test for good measure yesterday. First pregnancy after trying for nearly two years - this was the first month of undergoing fertility tests and we'd basically given up on the idea of it happening naturally, so we're in major shock but over the moon. Think I'm due 3rd December. Cannot believe how sore my boobs are, and they look massive! Seriously struggling to figure out what to wear for work to cover them up. Superunknown, I know what you mean about risk averse DH - mine keeps saying not to get hopes up but I can't help it.

YikesHereWeGo · 29/03/2012 16:30

Hello everyone! Wow, this is all a bit exciting in a "secret club" kinda way! I took a test last Friday and got a very faint line that I thought I was imagining, and then did another test on Monday which was definitely a BFP. Really excited as this is my first pregnancy but also not wanting to "count my chickens" as I'm 37 so know the risks are high. Fingers crossed for all of us on here though :-)
Symptoms so far: v heavy/sensitive/bigger boobs (!), v tired all the time, crappy skin, some little cramps (not much though).
Bit unsure of EDD as my cycles are so irregular but I reckon it should be some time between 29/11 and 04/12 (although wouldn't 12/12/12 be nice!)
Looking forward to hearing more stories from everyone!!

pleasebethismonth · 29/03/2012 16:39

Thanks Rain, good luck to you too

Reading all these posts has made me want to poas again to check the colour of the line!
Still hardly any symptoms, a little tired and hungry(normal for me then!) oh and very irritable (still normal! ha!) so a little worried but like you issimma i'm going to try and enjoy it.
Think I'll wait until after 6 weeks then book in with the doc.

My birthday is the 4th so hope baby doesn't come then!!

lauraloo09 · 29/03/2012 20:10

Well my doc said that I am indeed pg but need to put in another sample in the morning, I can relax a little as the tests I to weren't false positives :)

Big hellos to all the new BFP'ers xx

Congratulations to the new BFPs!

Not much in the way of symptoms here, maybe feeling a tiny bit sick. I would really like a nice, cold glass of Wine

I POAS again yesterday just to check the line was darker, it was so faint in the first tests. DH thinks I'm crazy.

The GP is calling me with HCG levels today. Something else for me to frantically google and worry about!

ediepop · 29/03/2012 21:58

Hello, I think I'm due 3rd December. I've had two positive tests and am just waiting to see my GP on Monday. Alternating between being thrilled and terrified. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks last year, so I'm scared of getting too attached to the idea, in case I miscarry again.

SeymoreButts · 30/03/2012 07:50

Congratulations Ediepop!

Got my blood results back, my HCG is 166 so I am defo preggars!

Wittywhirl · 30/03/2012 08:09

Hello and congratulations all :-)!!!

Can I join, I had my BFP on Tuesday and by my calculations I think my due date is the 6th December?

Superunknown my DH is very risk adverse too and trying not to get to excited before 12 weeks but it's so hard not to! This is my first pregnancy so any advice from more experienced mums out there would be greatly appreciated.

I've got cramps is this normal? I also wanted to go to bed by about 6pm last night - is anyone else getting really tired yet?

Wittywhirl · 30/03/2012 08:22

PS - sorry all I managed to miss the 2nd page - very reassuring to read that the cramps are common but they do seem to be settling a bit today.

Welcome to all the new BFPs!

I really thought I'd be more relaxed with this being second time around, but I'm analysing EVERYTHING! I actually find myself cheering inside if I have a cramp or I need to throw up Grin

YikesHereWeGo - 12.12.12 would be fantastic! I actually wouldn't mind going overdue for that date...

WittyWhirl, I've been so tired even since before I tested. I work from home, luckily, so looking forward to my lunchtime nap today!

Wittywhirl · 30/03/2012 09:00

LOl oh good i'm not the only one then needing cat naps!

issimma thanks for the welcome I'm very excited to be here and a bit scared too Smile.

lauraloo09 · 30/03/2012 09:07

morning lovely ladies and huge welcome to the new BFP's!!

Had such a rotten sleep last night couldnt get comfortable which is strange as that problem shouldnt be happening yet (didnt happen till 32 weeks with DD) here's hoping it was a one off. Yesterday was a nightmare day all round DD was acting up (she is 2 3/4) and i was snapping quite easily at her need to learn to deal with that better through the next 36 weeks or so lol.

yikes I am due around 8.12.12 so going 4 days over for that date would not bother me in the slightest would be great to give birth that day lol

whitty im not taking cat naps as my DD is keeping me up but god i could use some and times i have been driving and have been so tired its worrying...think ill ease off on the driving just now xx

DKNY123 · 30/03/2012 09:13

Hmm - symptoms have all gone!!! nipples no longer sensitive, boobs not feeling sensitive at all and have lost the fullness they were developing, cramps are less, haven't even managed to convince myself I feel sick. I'm 4 wk 5d today, and had been getting slightly fuller aa tiny bit sore breasts and nipples until this morning. Did another test, and lines are the same as they were two days ago - dark, but not as dark as control. Anyone else noticed this? It doesn't feel like my pregnancy is progressing at all!

lauraloo09 · 30/03/2012 09:20

DKNY I think symptoms can come and go at this point (i know mine did with DD) then at 7 weeks I had bad morning sickness but before then I had nothing. I know it is easier said than done but try not to worry xxx

PrimalChic · 30/03/2012 10:31

Hi ladies! I'm very jealous of those who can cat nap during the day. I had naps last weekend and I will this weekend but when it gets to about 3pm, I'm struggling to keep my eyes open.

Speaking of cats, one of mine walked across my chest in the night and I screamed in agony. They will be locked out from now on! Went to JL yesterday and invested in a cropped vest for sleeping in and invested in a Bravado maternity bra in a medium. My boobs are so sore, I can't stand the wiring round the sides of normal bras or the seams across the nipples on all my lovely lacy ones. At least there's some room to grow into this bravado one, it's more like a comfy sports bra. No more jiggling!

BigRedIndiaRubberBall · 30/03/2012 11:18

Hello, can I join? Just POAS for the second time after the faintest of faint lines a week ago and it seems that yes, I'm definitely pregnant. I was in denial before, as we have a just-turned-one DS who came to us after more than a year of trying, and I'd only just got my periods back, so I was expecting months of trying again. (Plus it's my sister's wedding next weekend, and I really wanted more than half a glass of champagne!)

Now I'm getting used to the idea though, and the excitement is taking over. My due date is technically November 29, but I have a feeling my first cycle might have been longer as the line is still fairly faint and I have zero symptoms, so I'm thinking early December.

PrimalChick - funny you said that about the cat - in my first pregnancy I found that cats and dogs seemed much more friendly than usual during my first trimester. And I'm very thankful that I'm still in nursing bras as the memories of itchy nipples fighting with lacy seams still makes me shudder . . .

DKNY - my symptoms were all over the place before too - and I'm technically more far gone than you this time, and I have zilch, so I really wouldn't worry :)

snala · 30/03/2012 11:37

Hi can I join? Smile
I don't know any of the abbreviations Blush

I have tested everyday this week all faint blue lines and again this morning!!
I've been to the doc this morning to get in the system do now it all feels real. He reassured me that it's very unlikely to have a false positive, took my blood pressure and alls well.

This will be baby %233 due 8th December.Grin

snala · 30/03/2012 11:37
