Evening ladies!
Was just 'catching up' and realised that I had still missed LOADS!!! Much sympathy and many hugs to thoses who need it :( I'm very impressed with the positive attitudes though!
Much happiness and hugs to all those with good news who'd started to think the worst too - V exciting to know it's all good!
I've been MIA for the last few days as we moved at the end of the week - I have realised that people are not joking when they say that moving is one of the most stressful things that you can do! And to be pregnant too...! We are living with friends now which, on day 4, is going okay. On my moving day, my head of department got in touch and said that the work I had set for my classes wasn't adequate, could I set some more - I was fuming! Surely a head of department can sort something out without wasting time emailing me about it!!! Then yesterday, the battery on our car (not yet 3yrs old) failed twice and we had to get the AA out to restart - the second time we were at 'home' in Kent (another Kentish lady here!), an hour away from home and DS ready for dinner :( They started us again and tried to arrange for a new battery, but then there were none in our area, so I had to be late for work this morning to have it fitted. Had a massive argument with DH last night (obviously I completely over reacted, but felt reasonable at the time
), then at work today, my year 11s, only weeks away from their exams, we're being absolute buggers and had me in floods of tears at lunchtime, feeling desperate and contemplating the idea of just walking out! :(
Finally, I've had chance to sit down and try to catch up with you lovely, normal ladies and am beginning to feel much better! :) Sorry for offloading on you all, but I hoped you'd understand?!
I was thinking that if we're all up for it, maybe we should update our stats with as much info as we'd like to provide about where we live? So many of us are trying to work out where we're all from that I thought this might be an easier way to do it? When pg with DS, the thread I was on (which I didn't feel was half as friendly as you lot btw!) we added loads of extra details to our stats, such as sex of baby (confirmed, Chinese or just guessing!) location and toilet roll measurements of bump as time progressed!
I'm feeling very bluergh tonight after eating a bizarre dinner that consisted of jacket potato (normal), beans (normal), bacon (normal), cheese (normal) and, wait for it...lime pickle - completely NOT normal! I really enjoyed it at first
but then decided I really didn't like it anymore! Poor DH!
I'm desperate to keep up with you lot, but there are SO many of us now and we do like to chat!
I'll do my best!
