Thechick · 26/03/2012 14:10

Thanks for all the well wishes. Mostly keeping it together. xx

NervousAt20 · 26/03/2012 14:29

foofFighter think I will go to and see. BabyandBump banned you :-0 really?! How rude

Stuntnun · 26/03/2012 14:30

Bimble and anyone else having discharge issues, please be aware that if it is grey and 'odourous' it could be bacterial vaginosis. I had it with DS2 and it needs to be treated with antibiotics as it can cause problems in late pregnancy and it is very ouchy.

Chunkychicken · 26/03/2012 14:33

Tiago great news!!

The Babyshow I went when 7mths pg with DD at the Excel in London. Was worth doing, to see lots of prams & other stuff in one place. Didn't stop me almost bring reduced to tears in the center as I couldn't decide about which pram to buy. We'd narrowed it down to 2 - my fav & DH's fav. I won Grin

TMI alert here, but I wanted to see whether this was "normal". I've been enjoying my sick day with DD & DH elsewhere & had a bath. I got out, walked to my lounge (in my towel) & thought that's weird, I'm really wet down there. I look down & I was literally dripping Shock I mean, I know you're meant to get more CM but this was ridiculous!!!! Somebody anybody tell me I'm not alone... please??!!! Blush

Chunkychicken · 26/03/2012 14:35

p.s. it seemed to be white-ish, clear-ish & v runny but thought I'd clarify given what stuntnun said... OMG where or when else would you talk about your lady bits to perfect strangers??!! Blush

BottleRed76 · 26/03/2012 16:11

Hi Ladies.

Thanks for all the good wishes.

As thought, it looks like complete loss MC. Nurses in Gyne ER were lovely. Scan confirmed no remaining products left and reassured everything is healthy and normal - I'm fine to get back on the horse as soon as I want!

Im actually feeling quite good. Positive and rational.
HCG blood tests not back yet so don't know if Ill have to go back for a second test next week yet.

I've had a bad feeling for a while and expected this to happen. Now it has - I feel OK - the world didn't end.

thechick - hope you're OK
Iheartpasties - good luck tomorrow

Best of luck and good wishes to everyone due in Nov.

x

AbsToni · 26/03/2012 17:43

I have absolutely no time lately to follow what is going on this treat so will just post quickly.

I was fed up with the nausea. Was sick two times last week and was feeeling sick most days non stop in the past 2-3 weeks. However, I went for an early scan (which was beautiful and amazing experience!!!!!) and used the chance to talk to the doctor about vitamins (as my mum keeps on nagging me that I need to take calcium because when she was pregnant with me, she didn't take and her teeth literally started falling apart at 4 months).

I have been taking Pregnacare for long time now, they don't have calcium and I did notice even before getting pregnant that they make me feel a bit sick especially if not taken on a very full belly. So the doc said the Iron in the Pregnacare can be making me more sick and if I eat meet often (which I do if I am not sick) I don't need the Iron so much.

I had alrady bought the Osteocare vitamins (they explicitely say are good for pregnancy, they do have the right vitamin D amount) and the doc said they might be a good idea if I add the folic acid on the side.

So as of last friday I started taking Osteocare+Folic acid (and stopped Pregnacare) and by now things have improved a lot. I also read here about the travel wrist bands and bought a pair. I think they also help (strange but true). I think the combination of changing the vitamins and the wrist bands have given me really good days of feeling only slighly sick at rare times. I am not back to normal but nothing like the previous weeks.

Thought this might help someone else whos struggling with MS.

Sorry I don't read you girls but I always have my fingers crossed that everyone is doing well and has a trouble free pregnancy! I will catch up asap.

Cacacaz · 26/03/2012 17:55

Bottle I am so sorry to hear your news, please be kind to yourself. I hope you have plenty of support. Take care xx

Tiago that is wonderful news Grin

We had out reassurance scan earlier this afternoon. I spent all morning worrying as my nausea has disappeared, which is exactly what happened before my mc last year, however we got to see our little baby with a strong heartbeat.

MsBlueberry · 26/03/2012 18:15

bottlered you have an amazing and inspiring attitude. Lookafter yourself and pop on to let us know when you get your BFP Thanks

Fingers crossed for you thechick

Nice to hear about the good scans tiago and cacacaz. Hope I get to do a simiar post sometime soon.

SootySweepandSue · 26/03/2012 18:16

Sorry to hear your news Bottle. My DD was conceived 2 go's after my MC so absolutely go ahead keep trying.

We had our reassurance scan today. All looking good, strong HB and measuring fine.

So excited it's almost summer. Currently searching for slides and swings for DD. Just be missing the pimms!

SootySweepandSue · 26/03/2012 18:19

Tiago - are you thinking girl due to the high heart beat ? Just spinning an old wives tale....

FoofFighter · 26/03/2012 18:19

Abstoni - Pregnacare do say to take after your main meal. For me it's folic acid that upsets my tummy and I am now on double dose of it, it's probably that causing my horrid bloatedness now I think of it

Cacacaz and SSAS, thats fantastic :)

jaylee89 · 26/03/2012 18:19

congratulations cacacaz.

so sorry to hear your news bottle i hope you are ok...take care of yourself sweet.

well from my earlier post about feeling a little better i spoke to bloody soon sickness is creeping back in and i feel v tired aswel. hope everyone else feeling ok.

Stuntnun · 26/03/2012 18:24

Came home stressed out and had to open a cold beer... ginger beer that is ;-)

Bottle I'm sorry to hear your bad news but I'm glad to hear you sound quite upbeat. I MC'd at the start of December but I'm now 20 weeks behind where I would have been with that pregnancy so as others have said it can happen again quickly. Thinking of you as I know it's a tough time. It takes a while to recover physically so take it easy for a bit, you need some pampering and spoiling just now.

DesperateHousewife21 · 26/03/2012 18:43

I take pregnacare every eve with my dinner and it's fine for me. I find them hard to swallow with just water they're quite big!

Lots of people here having early scans. I haven't even had my booking in app yet I feel like its all going so slowly, still got 5 weeks til my 12 week scan!

PetiteRaleuse · 26/03/2012 18:53

I had my follow up scan and it looks like everything is going to plan although instead of being 8w3d am 8w.... there was a nice little heartbeat though and next scan in 3 and a half weeks...
